I was misled into the signing the 1-year contract while the salesperson told me it was for the 1-time treatment with discount if I do the service on the same Friday with other neighbors. During the sales pitch, they promised to treat the air vent to prevent insects but when the actual technician came, they just told me they would not do that. This is blatant false advertising. When I call them to complain, they asked for evidence of the sales pitch. They rang my doorbell and did the sales pitch in person so there is no written evidence, but I found many other users on the internet also complained about the same deceptive sales tactic. They misled many customers into signing a contract that requires a few hundred dollars to cancel. Business Response

    Date: 11/04/2024

    To whom it may concern,

Our sales representative spoke to this customer and sent the service agreement on 10/23/24 at 5:54 PM. The customer did not sign the service agreement until 10/23/24 10:42 PM allowing time for them to read and review the terms and conditions outlined in the service agreement. The service agreement shows a 12 month calendar indicating that services would be scheduled for October 2024, January 2025, April 2025 and July 2025. It also states "This agreement is for an initial period of 12 month(s)" just above the signature location.

A one time service is $369, however, if a customer chooses to set up services and sign a 12 month service agreement we can authorize a discount on the initial service. In this case a $200 discount was applied and the customer was billed $169 for the initial service with the agreement that following services would also only be $169 and would be completed as outlined in the contract.

We are very sorry to hear that this individual is unhappy with the services they received. We have been attempting to reach out to the customer to find a resolution and assist with their request to cancel the services but have not received a response to our attempts.

We are committed to providing the best services to our customers that we can. We are more than happy to schedule a free reservice to send a technician out for additional treatment and to address any concerns. Due to the risk, potential for injury, liability and insurance reasons, we do not guarantee the treatment of crawl spaces or attics. Some technicians will choose to treat the spaces from the entry point without entering the space however this is up to the technician completing the services. Again, we have been making attempts to reach this individual to discuss their concerns and find resolution but have not received a response.
