    ****************** charged $350 plus tax to assess the home for the presence of mold. He did not conduct an air quality test with any equipment. *** explored the crawl space and produced photos of what he claimed was mold in the crawl space. *** explained that he would take up the old plastic moisture barrier, spray something that was supposed to neutralize or kill or eliminate the mold. *** explained that his workers would then replace the moisture barrier with new plastic sheeting and create a new barrier between the crawl space and the neighboring crawl space with the plastic sheeting. *** claimed at least verbally that symptoms of mold exposure would resolve in the occupants of the home. Art insisted on being paid in cash so I can pay my workers. Art charged $10,000 for the work described above. Art did not provide any photos of work done. Symptoms of mold exposure including shortness of breath, chest tightness and increased respiratory secretions have not resolved in the occupant of the home. All consumer copies of documentation related to this work was kept on a desk in the main living area while the work was being done and on Saturday 07, 27, 2024 the homeowner discovered that the copies of the contract and the receipt for the assessment fee were missing. A receipt for the $10,000 of supposed mold remediation work was never provided to the homeowner. The homeowners are my parents,
