      I sold a house and forgot to call to stop service in December. The new owner had a high heating bill that I got stuck paying! How does Cascade Natural Gas get away with charging me for a service I never received!! They even sent me to collections. Such a nasty company to work with!

      I cancelled my service but was on a budget plan. I moved. After I moved I was charged on my card $212 (budget was $57) without prior knowledge thinking I'd get a paper bill for any remaining. THEY REFUSE TO TALK TO ME AND WILL DO NOTHING. This is my rent money. I live in affordable housing for seniors and don't have this extra money foe my rent. They will not and refuse to reverse it and let me make payments on my bill

      In December 2021, my monthly natural gas bill was $31 a month with two people living in this home. By July 2022, my monthly natural gas bill went up to $64 a month. In November 2022, my monthly natural gas bill went up to $80 a month with only one person living in this home. I did call customer ********************** and they gave me a "one time courtesy" update and lowered it to $60 for the following month. Now six months later, it's back up to $97 a month with one person living in this home??? I realize prices have gone up; however, I don't use several of my appliances that are natural gas and keep my thermostat lower in the winter and hardly have used any air conditioning so far. Don't use my gas fireplace or gas range. Something is not right! Why has this happened and how can people on a limited income afford this?

      I had been a customer of 3+ years and never missed a payment.Last summer my business went under and I had to move and close my account. I told CNGC and we were good.Just kidding they levied an additional $26.77 on my account, never contacted me (had email and phone on record) and then sent it to collections a year later.I paid it promptly but they refuse to remove it from my account and will not send a receipt. This sounds like borderline fraud honestly.I spoke with *****, *******, ****, and others and they all gave vastly different answers as to how to fix it and no one was able to take responsibility for the error. I worry they have no idea how their computer systems work as they are most likely built on Cobol from another decade which is why this error happened.As a company with an essential monopoly they face no feedback from the market either as their customer are just stuck with them.All in all be careful dealing with this company. They are unable to do anything, don't care, and things like this will happen.
