We have had problems with ****** *****. If they want to bring to us we will help or even another shop other than that store. They over charge so the warranty company makes them work so much harder. We have always had great outcomes with diff shop so we are willing to help get them a different shop if they are open to it. If they must use them we dont have as much help from the warranty companyInitial Complaint

I called the company regarding an ad for a car for sale, 2007 ***** Impala. After test driving it (only around the block, at residential speed limit), I decided to purchase it as I needed a car. I was told and shown paperwork that gave CARFAX information and multipoint inspection that was supposedly done. After purchasing the vehicle, the salesman helped me drive it home while I drive my other car. While giving him a ride back to the dealer, it stalled, jerked forward and the engine light came on. I asked him what did you do. He said nothing. This continues to happen the entire way back to the dealer. As We get back to the dealer, I ask him so what are we going to do about this. And he says to me I will talk with the technician and give you a call tomorrow. Tomorrow came and went with no call. I call and get put on hold for 30 minutes and no answer. I bring in the car on 3 separate occasions to get the car fixed which all were met with excuses of the mechanic not being available. I have spent $3500 since December 2022 when the car was purchased on repairs that were not covered by the warranty the dealer sold me like he said. I spent $8100 on the car. I couldve bought a new car. My entire life savings went to this company and they took advantage of me and my situation to make a profit.Business Response

I feel terrible that our customer has had this experience had he let me know or brought the car here for repair I would help we dont pay outside shop bills because we cant verify they are being honest and after 35 years doing this and the info from all of the warranty reps most shops are really taking advantage of customers due to high replacement prices. If this customer needs something in the future I would keep some type of credit or agree to fix something etc for what he has went thru however that bill isnt something we would cover. If the customer would like to trade in for something differnt we would also agree to pay more that true value to help. I dont want them to feel like we wouldnt want to help them we just wouldnt be open to paying someone else excessive billCustomer Answer

My response would be that, I did on multiple occasions bring the car in to have it repaired and I was met with excuses. I also would never feel comfortable going back to that company and doing another deal with them for another car like was stated. My bill was excessive due to their negligence to the fact that the did not inspect this car like they claimed and continued to blame me for these problems.
I would like this to be reopened because this is not a resolved issue. I would like to pursue reimbursement of 50% of the costs for repair within only a year of owning the vehicle. Again, I came in on multiple occasions to try and have this fixed and they either kept telling me to come another day or that the technician was unavailable.
I am also speaking with a lawyer to see if there is any legal action that can be taken here.
Thank you,

On or about June 29, 2023, I went to a website called ******** Blue Book to sell my **** ****** Corolla. The website site came up with a quote for the price of my vehicle of $5,131.00. The website provided me with two dealerships who would buy my vehicle for that price. One of those dealerships was Auto Destination. I had incorrectly placed the model being a sports version. Because of that, Auto Destination was willing to purchase my vehicle for the standard model CE. The price was$3,000.00. I accepted the offer. Auto Destination had me sign about six forms and the title of my vehicle over to them along with keeping my vehicle and keys. I was told by the manager that it would take 3 business days for them to cut me a check. When the three business days was up, I called and spoke to the manager as to whether my check could be delivered to me. The manager informed me that the check has already been placed in the mail. The problem is that the manager back on Monday, July 3, 2023, told me that he would call me when the check was ready. He failed to do so. He apologized. I didn't the manager know the process of paying for a customer's vehicle? If the proper process is to have mailed the check out then he should haven known that. Obviously, he did not know what he was talking about. It is now July 7, 2023 and I checked my mail and I still don't have any check.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: There is absolutely nothing strange about my complaint. I told Auto Destination that I would be complaining to the Better Business Bureau. The manager is a total incompetent. He does not even have knowledge of the procedure for a seller to receive payment for a purchased vehicle. If the check was customarily mailed to the seller then he should have known this to be the case. Instead, I was told the check would be really to be picked up on Friday and not mailed to me on Wednesday. Why didn't the manager know this protocol. What kind of manager is he? I want to rescind the entire deal and pay back the money and get my car back. ***********************

I am rejecting this response because the business did not exactly state that the car was actually sold but that it may have been sold. I would rather have them say that the car was sold for sure. If the car has not been sold, I would prefer to have the car returned to me and I pay back the money besides I believe my vehicle was worth more than $3,000.00 and under *************** Book the car was worth $3,500.00.
Sincerely,

April 30th i purchased a 2013 scion fr-s , looking at the vehicle it was in a great condition. After i purchased the vehicle on may 4th i started to hear knocking and i noticed the car was having a hard time driving , i immediately went home and the knocking got worse. I made it home and tried starting the next day and the knocking was louder but the car was drivable , i decided to cal Auto Destination and see what they could do for me because ive had the car for less than a week. They immediately said contact warranty , i did do that and they denied it claiming there was no oil in the car so that caused a rod to go through the engine. That wasnt the case because i took the car to ****** and thats when it completely died , oil spilled out everywhere on the ground so yes there was oil in the car. I called the dealership and asked what they could do and they said nothing , i do have paperwork with a dealership warranty and i told them that and they said we dont do that. they also told me the car was accident free but the last owner left paperwork in the car showing the car was in an accident and it got fixed. This dealership also somehow found my instagram and saw a video of my friend taking a video of my new car that i posted and they claimed i was racing the car and thats how the engine started knocking. They also stopped responding to my calls & i even tried calling from different numbers. So i am stuck with a car that doesnt run and a car payment. I was left with no choice but to leave the car at ****** , luckily the bank has been very understanding with me and i havent made payments because why make payments for a car that doesnt run. This dealership was completely unprofessional , and i posted a review on ****** about it because it was completely unfair what they did to me.Business Response

We tried to engage the situation however her and other have continued to write reviews and post false information. She does have a warranty if there is an issue it would be with the warranty company. They have told us there is a reason there is concern but that is between them not auto destination
