It's been 3 months since I purchased a vehicle from Auto Destination - and it's been the most stressful, gut-wrenching experience. The vehicle was sold to me with a bad transmission. Within 4 weeks of having the car, it was brought back to replace the transmission. They had my vehicle for 3 weeks, and upon return, the car started rough and had noises it didn't have when I dropped it off the first time. When I continually asked for a work order, or a detailed description on what happened to the vehicle, I never got any information other than an invoice for what *I* paid for. I contacted the warranty company, they advised I take the vehicle for a diagnosis, and get back to them with a report. I brought the car to a nearby shop, and found that the NEW transmission that was put in the car was not only leaking already -- but was the WRONG TRANSMISSION FOR THE **** This, in turn, fried the starter as the transmission, computer and starter were all starting the car in different gears/gear ratios were off. I brought the car back to Auto Destination for repairs 16 days ago, and no repairs have been completed. They have offered me a different, older vehicle which is more expensive, instead of completing required repairs. They continue to tell me that the car runs fine, as it should, and nothing is wrong with it -- even though it needs $11,700 worth of work. Auto Destination sold me a totaled car, attempted to fix it, and ruined it even more. They have offered no compensation, not apologized for a 3-month long inconvenience, and have just taken my money and time without a second thought. I am a single mother, that lives an hour + away from this dealership, and have been gaslit into thinking all the problems with the car are in my head -- even with detailed reports from multiple other shops.I now need to seek legal advice, which is more money and time spent, just to get this issue resolved. If you were considering a vehicle from Auto Destination, please do your research.
