Paid over $9,000 for transmission replacement. I brought the transmission and drove my car to the shop with bad transmission still working in the car. The transmission I purchased was wrong one. My fault there.. but they broke every plug for wires on my old transmission they took off my car and gave it back to me missing parts as well so I'm stuck now with two transmissions that I can't use without repairs. I drove this vehicle to the shop with my transmission. They broke everything on my old transmission and couldn't get the new transmission to work and still charged me over $9000 to end up having my car towed home at my expense. I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone. Absolutely horrid experience

This is a very misleading review.  **************** decided to provide his own transmission to replace the failing unit in his vehicle and paid us to install it.  To clarify, **************** DID NOT spend $9,000 with AAMCO, he paid us $3,330. in labor and $745.21 for parts that include the transmission fluid and a transmission cooler.

During a transmission swap, it is very common to swap some parts from an old one to new one, in particular nuts and bolts.  Unfortunately, we can only warranty the parts we provide and the labor.  Had **************** purchased the transmission through us, we would fully warranty the parts and labor through our Nation-wide warranty.  ******************** replacement transmission turned out to be the incorrect year for his vehicle as discovered when scanning codes upon the final test drive.  This is why it doesn't work properly.  **************** was advised he provided an incorrect unit once we discovered this.  The issue is noted on his invoice that he has signed off on (though he did not indicate a yes on the request for the old parts to be returned) and he was provided with the original transmission from his vehicle.

**************** has not contacted us directly for any assistance since he picked up his vehicle last year, but instead chose to falsely represent what actually occurred on multiple media platforms.  He is not looking for any resolution and has stated as much to our corporate office.
