    Scam! I purchased seeds for 3 adenium plants in June of 2022. They were beautiful double flowered varieties. Now in June 2025 they are mature enough to flower and are generic flowers that can be purchased at a big box store. Stay away.

    This woman strikes me as being unstable, delusional, and downright rude - in other words, a nut job. I received three packets of hibiscus seeds from her, and not one seed germinated. Her response was, My seeds are not infertile. She would rather spend half the day writing nasty, sarcastic emails to you - and to tell you what a great business she is running - than to put a replacement packet of seeds in the mail for you. To hear her tell it, she is running a business tantamount to ** or ***, when in reality she is running an unsuccessful tiny mail order business and has no concept of customer service. She doesnt deserve to be in business.

    This was my response to the customer after sending two orders to her address:

    That is the address where we sent the packages. I just reviewed our returned orders, and neither of them has come back to us. Have you checked with your neighbors to see if they may have received them by mistake? Or asked your postman if he's aware of their whereabouts? They would have been packaged in a yellow bubble mailer measuring 6x4. It's quite unusual that two orders have not reached you or been returned to us.

    She replied very nasty and my next response to her was:

    I regret to inform you that we have dispatched two orders to your address, and they have not been returned to us. Therefore, they are currently at your residence, with your neighbors, or possibly at your post office. I cannot accept disrespectful remarks about my business. Once we receive one of the two orders back, we will happily process your refund. Until then, we cant confirm that you havent received them and it appears you might be attempting to gain something without justification, especially following your disrespectful and racially insensitive comment.

    From that point I was sent over 40 emails that contained the following words and some even worse that I do not think should be published but they need to be known: 

    Just f*** all the way off and leave me alone. All this ******** over flower seeds. F*CK YOU.

    You are a F*CKING C*NT

    Hey, *****, go F*CK YOUR Self

    Hey cult member, F*** YOU. 

     It's hard for you cultist magats to know what truth is

    You're a f****** idiot. 
    As she posted an old address of mine as a threat 

    stupid *****.

    Your mom raised an idiot.

    F*CK YOU and your dead mom she probably killed herself because of having you as a child. 


    The situation escalated significantly, and I stopped responding, but she continued to reach out. Ive received messages both today and yesterday. I felt it was necessary to file a police report due to threats directed at me, my family, and my employees, along with her attempts to use an outdated address as a means of intimidation, which is truly unsettling. I had been trying to assist this customer until her remarks took a disturbing turn. I have never encountered a customer who spoke this way, particularly over a $6.79 seed order. I take great pride in attending to my customers, as repeat business is crucial for my success. *** operated a thriving business for nearly nine years, and this is by far the most unstable customer Ive encountered. The police in both her location and mine are informed about the situation, as I'm uncertain of her potential actions at this point.

    He sent me Wild Lupine weed seeds instead of Terracotta Lupine seeds.And the Red Salvia seeds would not germinate. All 150 of them.

    I ordered 25 Purple Sunflower seeds. My order was supposed to have been shipped Dec. 09- Dec. 14. Its Dec. 19 and I have not received my order.

    I order seeds and I track my order saying my seeds have been delivered. They were not and when I emailed them and received an email back stating it was not their problem once the seed the been mailed. **************** was not helpful and seemed to put the blame on me! I would never order from them again --no seeds and out my money!

    I am a 74 year-old retired teacher who spends a lot of my retirement time gardening in my back yard. Recently, I purchased several different seed variates representing a variety of native and hybrid coneflowers I am pleased with these coneflower seed purchases. All arrived as described, packaged nicely, and in satisfactory condition. Quick to issue a refund for a small order which did not arrive, Toadstool Seeds did not hesitate to reimburse me after I made contact with them. Other shipments arrived just as expected. One purchase even qualified for **** tracking during shipping and I found this quite helpful. Overall, I am very pleased with my 3 separate orders thus far.If there are any problems - which I seriously doubt there will be - with future purchases, I feel confident Toadstool Seeds with stand good and do right by me, the customer. I love their seed selection, their prompt responses, and their apparent commitment to excellence.This happy and satisfied customer will buy from ********************** again...and soon!

    I purchased burgundy geranium seeds from Toadstool Seeds. After spending months growing them I found that I had received pink geraniums only. I contacted the seller who ignored my first two emails. She finally responded after I said I would contact authorities since she would not respond. She said she had a family emergency but to date has made no mention of delivering the item I actually ordered.

    No response to my attempts to contact. I did get good germination, but the "mixes" weren't very mixy and one variety seemed misnamed entirely. Not providing the botanical name was a red flag for me, as a seasoned seed starter, and I ordered against my better judgment. ****** learned.

    I ordered almost every color of desert rose seeds. Its been fun going through the germination process. Now I have a bunch that are almost two years old and starting to bloom. Guess what I am **** now on colors I ordered. They are all some variations of pink and none of them are in their catalog. Guess they figure most peeps cant get them to blooming stage before they kill them. Service is slow and a couple weeks to get the order. Seeds were very healthy. I do have a few hibiscus plants from their seeds but now I dont feel confident I got the colors I ordered should know this spring. The nursery lady laughed about ordering colors and told me all these places do it. Good Luck

    Ordered burgundy geranium seeds . Got pink and red in the same package. Not happy. Wish I would have checked customer feedback first.
