This was our first home remodel, and the main reason we hired Luxury Bath was to remove and replace asbestos tiles in a bathroom. They provided unacceptable service from start to finish. When the contractor arrived on the first day, it was clear he had no idea what the project entailed. When asked about the asbestos removal process he asked "what is asbestos?" and proceeded to cut the existing tiling with a knife in front of us, potentially exposing hazardous asbestos particles into the air. That was a huge red flag at that point so we immediately tried to call off the job. However, the owner then came by and aggressively tried to reassure us that they would indeed remove the asbestos as promised (and even tried to up-sell us on additional features, even though it was inappropriate timing to do so). Unfortunately we believed him and decided to continue the work in good faith. The problems did not end there. After the old tiles were removed, we noticed a lot of the new tiles were placed unevenly. The grout was the lowest quality and not mixed properly, so the end result crumbled like sand underfoot, very unpleasant to have in an area walked on with bare feet. The caulking used for the countertop was also poorly applied and peeled off as soon as we tried to wipe it with soap and ******** was a hassle getting this company to attest for the asbestos removal and we had to go through a third party to obtain proof the bathroom was **************** general, communication with the Luxury Bath team was unreliable and slow. Sometimes they would choose to answer our calls/emails with half-answers and other times no answer at all. Scheduling was a disaster. The contractor never arrived the day we were told he would. Instead, he would randomly show up several days later without warning. Not only did Luxury Bath disrespect our health/safety concerns surrounding asbestos, but the actual bathroom work they did was also extremely poor quality.

I was tremendously disappointed with Luxury Bath of Seattle and would not recommend them to anyone. I initially met with them in September, 2023 and they said it would be finished in December, 2023 and they still have not finished the job. I had five different installers and they all screwed up. The shower head and shower handle are still loose, and I never got the initial design that I wanted. The marketing manager has been full of empty promises. He keeps on saying he will correct everything but he hasn't. The owner also doesn't want to take full responsibility and all he did was give me a coffee mug for their incompetence. I threw it out. Don't waste your time with Luxury Bath of Seattle. I am sure they are more legitimate and competent bathroom remodeling companies out there. Do your research up front and least look at three different companies, and don't sign anything unless you are completely sure that the project will be managed properly from start to finish. You should not have to manage everything yourself. Also there is a complaint resolution service with **************** AG. Make sure you know your rights when you are when making this type of investment.

Hello, yes we did a job for ************ and if to be honest it did take more then expected and some of the installers who worked on his project is no longer in the company.

we did set up our most senior installer eventually on the project to make sure we will finish it and we did. we sent the customer all kind of shower heads to choose from and thought we finished the Project.

This is the first time, we , in the office hear, there is still an issue with the head and Handle and we contacted the customer to come and service, and fix the issues.

Buyer beware: Materials: Difficult to clean, mildewed caulking, poor performance with hard water. The company is not very responsive in fixing any problems. Be very sure you know what youre getting into before hiring this company. The materials they use require a proprietary caulking that you have to get from them. There are also a number of restrictions on the cleaning products you can use. They do not perform well with hard water. There are many sharp corners in the design that make it difficult to clean. The initial installer did a poor job of installing the caulking in 2016 and it started to mildew almost immediately. I should have pushed harder to have the caulking redone, but the company was not very responsive even during installation, so I didnt enjoy dealing with them. That should have been a huge red flag for me in the first place. Also, the shower pan is starting to have hard water stains that are pretty much impossible to remove due to restrictions on the cleaning products you can use. We found out in 2019 that it requires proprietary caulking and it was a giant headache just getting caulking from them. I had to contact them multiple times just to get caulking sent and it probably would have been even worse to try to get an actual person. They definitely do not stand behind their work or their products and I never even received any paperwork delineating exactly what the warranty covers. Their website is also not helpful. Contacting the company has been extremely difficult in the past and even if they honored their warranty, I am not pleased with the materials they use and am looking into having it replaced with something else that is easier to clean and performs better with hard water. Im tired of having to scrub it frequently and it still looks like garbage because of the mildewed caulking and hard water stains. All in all, a very expensive learning experience for me, but perhaps someone else can learn from my experience.
