1 starI have attempted to get the mileage from a service done 2020. I needed this information to help support coverage for an engine warranty. No one could find this for me, and I finally spoke with the service manager ***** who said it was not documented, but the business office could research and call me back. Today is July 10, and I still don't have an answer despite continued attempts. There now is new service manager, ******, to whom I have sent several messages, but no reply. I have since paid the engine replacement out of pocket and have lost confidence that Car Pros cares about helping a 20 year plus customer of 2 Kia *****Review fromStephanie B

1 starOn March 15th I had my 2023 Sportage towed here because it wouldnt start. I didnt get my car back until April 25th. To start off my car sat there for a week with nobody working on it, I couldnt get anyone to call me back. I had to have my fianc go down there to find out what was happening only to find out nobody had touched my car for the entire week, it took them ****************************************************************************************************** get updates every couple of days, 9 days went by before I heard from anyone. It ended up not being the starter so they had to reach out to engineers at ***, they did this on April 5th and I hear nothing from anyone past this. So another week plus goes by and I cant get ahold of anyone so I drive back down there on the 16th to find out that when the engineers told *** what to do next on April 8th they still did nothing. After all of this, me going down there, talking to management, etc. they still do not touch my car until I reached back out AGAIN on April 23rd and the manager ****** finally got involved and had them respond to the engineers and my car was fixed 2 days later. Long story short, this was drug out over a months time when in reality it maybe should have been 2 weeks. I spent this entire time begging for someone to call me back, sending message after message to my service consultant ****, to get an update and she never responded, leaving voicemails that were never returned and having to physically drive down there anytime I wanted an update on my car. I never expected it to be fixed overnight but I did expect some communication and not to let my car go untouched for weeks. I was also told no when asked if they provided rentals so I also got the opportunity to spend a ton of money on a rental while also making a car payment on a car I couldnt drive. This is by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had and I would never take my car here to be serviced again.Review from[email protected] Y

1 starI bought a 2016 *** from them in Feb/2024. I did not know at the time that insurance would be sky high, over $300 a month and when I found out about this and tried to get in touch with them to see if they would trade off for something I could afford. They never get back to you and had an issue with back tail light cover had a crack and leaked and still waiting for that to be fixed and with the rain,it just gets water inside. It is the WORST customer service place I have ever dealed with. I wish I had never went their. I am so screwed on this.Review fromAlex H

1 starCarP Pros Renton will consistently attempt to overcharge you for routine service. This is to be expected of any dealership, but I found a $1,163 quote for ****** mile service package to be beyond the pale. For my vehicle, a ****** mile service is an oil change ($120), brake fluid change ($100), air filters ($50), wipers ($30). That's about $300 of work. CarPros will happily charge you 4x the market rate for service (almost $1,200) and then encourage you to ************ service at 32% APR. Predatory and shameful. Get your warranties taken care of here, and steer clear otherwise.Review fromAnthony C

1 starI recently had a very disappointing experience at Car Pros Kia Renton, primarily centered around unresolved financial issues and poor communication. After purchasing a vehicle, I encountered significant challenges with the dealership over an $819 payment to Kia ******** related to the cancellation of an oil change service. Despite my repeated attempts to contact them, including phone calls and messages, my concerns were consistently ignored, leading to a significant level of frustration and inconvenience. The most concerning aspect was their failure to resolve the financial discrepancy. Not only was the promised payment not processed, but there was also a complete lack of updates on the situation, despite their initial confirmation of handling it.This experience has unfortunately overshadowed any initial positive impressions I had of Car Pros Kia Renton. The lack of accountability, professionalism, and responsiveness has significantly impacted my trust in their service and commitment to customer satisfaction.I hope this review brings to light the need for improved communication and customer service at **********************. Potential customers should be aware of these issues, and I earnestly hope the dealership takes this feedback seriously to enhance its service quality.Review fromTyler J

1 starI did originally file a complaint with the BBB over this matter, but was told that there would be no further actions. Hoping that after seeing so many other complaints like mine coming from people all over, maybe the BBB will begin an actual investigating into this scam calling itself a business. At best they are upselling and then lying to people and hoping they arent savvy enough to understand what exactly theyre being charged for, the and then doing a half a** job in order to keep people coming back for more repairs. At worst, they are outright sabotaging the vehicles they work on by not making those repairs in order to try and get people to buy a new car instead The simple fact of the matter is that despite this facility having an entire service department (or at least thats what the sign says it is) they clearly do not have the capability of servicing the product they sellonly charging people a lot of money to pretend like theyre trying do to something to resolve the problem The general manager has been quoted saying that they are in the business of selling carswhich is a funny thing to say to somebody who wasn't there to buy a car, but to get the one they already had fixed. This is a predatory business that preys on working class people who rely on their car to make a living, and needs to be dealt with in an official capacity. Theirs is simply no denying that fact. So why after two years of this has the BBB still done nothing about it?Review fromAlyssa R

1 star*** *** pros of renton sold us a mechanically unsafe vehicle that couldve killed my family. My husband and I bought a 2016 ***** Odyssey from **** at ************ of Renton. After bringing the vehicle home, we noticed the whole way home everyone behind us kept almost rear ending us. I had the thought of, maybe our taillights dont work? My husband got out of the van and chanced, sure enough, tail lights were not working when pedal was pressed. Wow seriously? They claim it was inspected, if so, how did it pass this simple inspection? Furthers my question if an actual intake inspection was done before placing the van for sale 7 days go by & my check engine light comes on.. *** said they would pay for my warranty deductible to fix the vehicle. Guess what? ******** wont pay the repairs because the part in the motor that failed is not covered under warranty ****** at *** claims he has no recollection of saying they would cover the repair costs, now that suddenly there is. $8,200+ bill to fix my van! I am now out a vehicle, I cannot afford to fix it after spending over $16,000 for a ***** odyssey minivan.Review fromShawn H

1 starI have been satisfied with Car Pros KIA Renton since purchasing my 2014 KIA ******** All of the maintenance has been done exclusively by their service department. However, my car experienced a complete power failure on February 21, 2023 and I had the car towed to the dealership. TO date, the service department has been unable to identify the issue and repair the car, even working with *** technicians. Now ** being told a master technician has been assigned to my car. Why wasnt a master technician consulted weeks ago when it was obvious the technician assigned to my car was not finding the problem. Im certain any electrical issue is difficult to isolate and repair but my trust in the service department and the management is not a company that I would recommend. Additionally, I feel as though my repair has taken a lower priority and the negative comments and lack of communication from the service staff is not the customer experience I would expect from this dealership.
