      Buyer BEWARE! This was the worst company I have ever dealt with - I purchased a machine January 2022, it arrived broken, after contacting them, email was the only way they would do business, I finally got them to send another unit. Machine is still under warranty and on 1/5/2023, having run the machine with their materials, their designs, one of my girls stepped away to go to the washroom - the machine exploded!! Molten Glass on the walls, carpets and tables, THANK god my employee was not in that room. Contacting the company again, only by email. They say its user error, having run various designs all day the prior 2 days, how is this user error? The response.. you left it unattended. THANK god we did, or we would be visiting one of ours in the burn unit. Remind you, it is under warranty, nope not really... They will take mine back, send me a refurbished unit, which could have blown up as well, prior to the refurbishment. Plus charge me ******* plus ****** in shipping. This company is well aware of the faulty design they have out there. Go ahead and ****** it, Glowforge Blows Up. This could have been catastrophic in more ways than one. BEWARE, do not put yourself in ***** way and do not be fooled by this company. They claim you have to watch it as it prints, in case of fire, first off, who can pay someone to stare at a machine for 2 - 4 hours on long prints. Secondly, who wants to stand over a machine that simply may blow up in your face. This is a ridiculous clause in their "safety" manual. Do yourself a favor and literally step away from Glowforge.

      They don't even deserve one star. This by far the worst business investment I have made in my life. I bought the pro in 2021, after 10 months it lost power. I received a refurb under the warranty and after 4 months it won't print. I replaced the carriage plate and now I have to spend $600 to replace the printer head. Please, please do your research on these types of machine. Wit the amount of time, money, and stress I have spend on this useless machine- I wish I would have invested in a thunder or a ***** A lot of us bough this machine b/c we don't own some warehouse, we work from our home with the dream of being a sucessful business owners. Instead we live with regret and anger on the waste of a machine having to explain to our customers that we have to cancel their orders b/c our machine doesn't work and we have to pay X** for a new one or a part.

      I would give zero stars if I could. Their machine is terrible. It rarely ever works properly. I have more wasted material then I have useable items and they refuse to help with anything. DO NOT BUY THEIR MACHINE. ITS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. It does not cut through anything and their excuse is youre not using proof grade actually I AM and IT STILL DOESNT WORK.

      In 2020 I used all my savings ($6000+) and ordered a Glowforge Pro. I put everything in to the idea of running my own business so that I could stay at home with my disabled child. Didnt work right out of the box, so they sent me a replacement machine. I should have seen all the red flags right there, but Im an optimistic person and hoped for the best. Everything ran fine for a few months and then I had issues with it not cutting all the way through materials on the one side..and then all over. I was out of warranty (but not by much) so they gave me the option to pay for a replacement at a lower price. So ok, I did that. About 7 months later (and barely using it) its not working again, so now Im paying $600+ for a new printer head. Received the new printer head, cut 2 things and now the machine isnt working again. To say Im angry is an understatement. **************** is a joke and act like they are doing you a favor by getting back to you. I wish I had never bought one. It has ruined me. DONT BUY ONE

      If I could leave zero stars I would. I invested in a glowforge due to the diversity of the machine. Buyer beware, they do not stand by their warranties, and your machine will be down minimum one month with any issues. No response from customer service and no phone line to contact. Within months you will be stuck with a 5k brick thats basically nothing. We also own a AEON, and highly recommend.

      I've been using the Glowforge Pro for almost a year. I subscribe to the premium software program as well. Both are fine when they are working. My huge problem is that customer "service" does not respond!! You can't call, you can't get a live person and you are stuck with no answers when something goes wrong. They do not ship replacement parts quickly. Most people are using Glowforge machines for small businesses and need replacement parts stat. They price ***** on the shipping ($1.60 cable? $25 shipping) The money they spend on advertising should go to getting more customer service employees and those who can ship out parts quickly. (FYI - the part says, "in stock", so this is not a supply chain issue!) Looking for another laser that is more reliable and a better company to back it.

      My new Glowforge arrived with coolant spilling into the machine compartment and soggy box. I contacted GF right away. It took 5 days for them to get back to me. I wanted to return the product for a full refund. It is crazy to pay $5200 dollars for a machine that has problems from the get-go. I was informed that it would cost me $1100 dollars in charges to return it for a refund. Really?! They wanted me to plug it in and turn it on to see if there was coolant in the tube, but I refused because I am not plugging in anything that is wet with liquid. They said they would send a replacement, which I did get. The biggest problem with my experience with GF was it was like talking to a wall, I was not allowed to speak to a supervisor after asking several times. I give them an F- for customer service. Inexcusable. Furthermore, I would not recommend anyone to buy a GF because of their horrible policies and service.
