      I can see why this company is not part of BBB because their rating would be horrible! I work for a billion dollar cimsisny which I dont know why they do business with these clowns, I can get into my retirement ti see how much I have, either I didnt give the correct credentials which I just changed my password and logged back in, or my credentials dont match, or they cant access my account, or my account is temporarily unavailable ti now its locked! I dont want this company holding my money anymore so Im going to find out how I can transfer MY MONEY to my other retirement account!!!! And try and put penalties on me and I will get an attorney because you people are real shady!!!

      I filed for a hardship for my annuity and they put the money in an account that I have never had after I sent them a voided check and it's been 2 weeks and all they can tell me is that they are working on it. I'm so over it

      THE worst company to deal with in terms of their 401k. I recently located this 401k acct that I had with my previous employer. I was quick to get the forms emailed into them on 05/07/2025. The agent who sent me the form to be notarized stated it would take 7 business days for them to process the form. It has now been 9 business days. And they have NO time frame whatsoever on when my identification form will be processed. None of the agents are helpful. Im pretty sure if they are anything like the other insurance companies they have a WEEKS long backlog but refuse to let you know because they are running a business incompetently. Even management will speak to you in a monotone like theyre use to speaking to people carelessly - the managers name was ******. The only employee who makes you feel cared for is ******. They need improve their systems or hire more people. The crazy part is I have verified ALL the old information on my account and they still refuse to provide me the balance on my account or let alone a LEGITMATE TIME FRAME.

      Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns.   We take the security of participant account information very seriously to ensure that there is never any unauthorized account access.  As such, when we are unable to validate the identify of a participant there is a detailed security review and process that we must follow for your protection.  The form that we provided, and you returned to us on May 7th included the standard processing timeline of 7-10 business days which would require that we complete the process by May 21st.   We completed the review on May 20th, and left a voicemail for you on May 21st with the steps that you need to take to obtain access to your account.   We are updating the documentation for our representatives to ensure they have very clear information to provide to participants about the security review timelines based on your feedback.

      I'm trying to gain access to my 401k through milliman , I had to fill out a verification form in front of a notary and email it back to the generic email address that a milliman call center (full office ) has access too. I've called to check and see if they've received my email twice in a single day when I sent the email yesterday and no I'm being told it may take 2 to 3 business days for their email team to go through and sort them out ? I'm unsure how a business can run in such a fashion but it's already proving difficult to get past the first step in gaining access to my old 401k . I also have had to talk to a new individual everytime I've called and I've had to re explain my entire situation to each person . That in itself is frustrating.

      The verification form is required to validate your identity to ensure your we keep your account secure.   It does take a few business days to process the verification form in our systems once received.  We provided the form to you on February 27th to complete, and we had processed the form within 3 business days on March 4th.   A representative contacted you on March 7th to confirm the information was received and provided balance information.    If additional information is needed,please give us a call and we would be happy to assist you.

      After much debating and constantly calling I received a call back.the calls I made were filled with poor customer service, I even stated how poorly on a recorded line the customer service was. Post the recordings of all my calls if you doubt me . I also didn't receive definitive proof of my account through hard evidence. All I received was a verbal statement from someone on the other end of a phone call stating my "balance". Also the fact I had to talk to multiple individuals each time I called and explain my case to each is still inefficient business.

      Tremendously awful service. They didn't change my mailing address in their system after multiple requests, which led to delay in transfer of funds that cost me nearly $4,000 in taxes. Awful, horrible customer service. Don't use them ever!!

      We reviewed the recorded interactions we handled on your behalf and found the following:

      >8/21 & 8/22  We left a voicemail message for you regarding a completed distribution form you provided requesting verification that the plan you were transferring your funds to was another 457 plan as the funds could not be rolled over into an IRA.   We also mailed a letter to you on 8/26 requesting the same verification.


      >9/13/24  You contacted us to request that we cancel the rollover request.


      >11/7 and 11/8  We left messages for you advising that you needed to initiate another distribution request or that your funds would be forced out of the plan according to the plan rules by 1/1/25.   We also sent an email to you with the same information.

      >11/21/24  You contacted us to request a rollover, but were unable to validate your identify according to our security procedures.  We validated your address on file at that time and you confirmed it was accurate.   We supported you in setting up a temporary PIN.

      >At no time was there a request to update your address and we reconfirmed we had the correct address on file on both the 8/15/24 and 11/21/24 calls.

      >As you did not make a new election following our last discussion on 11/21/24, we processed the distribution as we are required per the plan default outlined in the plan rules.

      Past employer utilized ******************* to dissolve their retirement plan. The distribution option paperwork provided by *******, on behalf of ***********************, was convoluted. The process was absolutely painstaking-an obvious deterrent to move funds. After enduring the process, they will only ACH/direct deposit funds if you elect to receive annuity payments. Again, another tactic to penalize those who chose to elect other options. So, they place retirement funds in **** mail, no tracking mechanism, during a national election...and when you speak to their designated representative for the plan, they cannot tell you about the location of their check processing center-so you can try to gauge an estimated arrival. Horrible customer service, there is no way after this experience would I ever recommend their financial services or allow them to handle my financial portfolio. Like the other reviews shared, don't get me started on their pin/access verification again. Another tactic to profit from the interest and administrative fees earned while funds are on deposit with their firm. Very unethical practices.

      Milliman does not maintain any funds on deposit nor do we earn interest or fees on your balance.   They are on deposit with the trust and the plan provisions dictate how disbursements will be handled.  Your lump sum paperwork clearly indicated that rollovers  would be handled via paper check and mailed to your home address.   We are only able to provide estimated timelines for **** delivery times based on when the check was processed.   Our pin and account verification process is designed to protect the assets of our participants and ensure unauthorized access to funds which is critically important and a standard we take very seriously.  We have provided information on November 6th to you regarding the check status and delivery timelines.

      Then you need to educate your representatives that answer your phone and respond on your behalf. As of November 15th conversation that I had with your representatives, checks were not processed and mailed on the 1st were only annuity payment for those who did not elect to keep our funds under your trust, our funds are ran by bulk processing, meaning no specific date could be given so do NOT blame the **** when you know that lump sum payment has to be mailed out by the end of November 2024. So either your representatives are not being truthful or ******* is an intriguious has it has proven to be. I am NOT the only Former Cass Information System employee frustrated with this process.

      This company is sooooo shady and now after looking at the reviews on here it makes sense that these other poor folks dealt with my same issues I had with them. I requested a withdrawal pin to receive my savings well after I left my employer and Milliman said that they only mail them. After 2 months of waiting and requesting the pin multiple times due to not receiving the mail from them, Milliman has the audacity to still tell me to wait for the withdrawal PIN code in the mail that they never send, and worse of all they make it the only way to verify your identity. Im sure this is ********** lawyer and I will be filing a civil suite because no 401k should be this difficult to withdraw from, I never had this problem with any other company but them. Its ashamed theyre even still operational, please whoever is reading this go to vanguard for your 401k plan or someone more reliable. ***** regret doing business with Milliman I promise you, I hope this helps others.

      The withdrawal lock process is in place for your protection and to ensure there is no unauthorized access to your account.  You must request the code, which we provided the steps for you to do and you completed on 3/21.   The code was not received because you changed your address.  If the mail is not forwarded correctly from your prior address, you must go online to request a new code to be sent to your new address as we have communicated.  Please contact us if you need assistance in requesting a new code.

      If I could give less than one star I would. This company is a joke. I was sent mail that I could early withdraw my 401k with an incentive and due to life I decided it was a good option for my family. From the start it has been like chewing nails. First I had to give them more information than I had to give to get a house loan. Basically the only things I didnt give them were my first born child and a blood sample, although Im still not sure they wont ask for it. Second they have the absolute worst customer service. ****, uninformed, wrong information, are all words I would use to describe. I was even told that it wasnt my money, and I should be thankful they were paying it out to me. I started the process in December. Its March and I still dont have the funds, which is very irritating since we are trying to purchase a home. Their website is also a joke. On it the payout date listed 2/29/2024 as a payout date, yet that date came and went and I have no payout. I called and the girl stated April and that there was no record of the 2/29 date, although I have it screenshot. Im curious as to why it takes so long when other companies can payout in mere days. I will never use this company again after this, I just want whats owed to me. Im honestly not even sure at this point they arent scamming me and stealing my identity.

      The paperwork that was initially received dated November 29, 2023, clearly outlined the distribution would occur in April 2024.   We received your initial paperwork in December, and after receiving corrected paperwork with appropriate notary signatures, your forms have been qualified and processed.    The distribution will occur in April 2024 as originally communicated.

      Horrible company. Dont ever use these guys for anything. I have a 401k from a previous employer that Im trying to close out with this horrid company and they cant help for anything. They mailed me a Withdrawal code which took 7 days to come and is needed to retrieve money from said account. When the code arrived and I entered the code into the website it was incorrect. After entering the incorrect code they mailed me 3x on the website they automatically enlist you to get a new code and wait another 7 days to get a code. When I called the customer service line their support was probably the worst Ive ever gotten in my life. No answers, no help, telling me that Im incorrect and wrong that the number is correct which Ive offered to give them this said code so they could try it for themselves but wouldnt. Absolute joke of a company dont give them any money ever youre better off using a different 401k company.

      This company is a joke! They have information incorrect, I was denied life insurance due to this and we have proven documentation that it was incorrect and I was told to get a copy of the report but the company will not send it. I have asked three times for this report in the last month!

      Milliman IntelliScript received a request for this report on 11/27/2023 and delivered this on 12/2/2023 to the requested email address. We received a second request from the consumer on 12/5/2023, our team responded that we sent the report on 12/2/2023 and asked the consumer to confirm receipt. On 12/13/2023, we received a voicemail from the consumers insurance agent inquiring about the case. We returned the phone call and spoke directly with the consumer and agent. We resent the report to the consumer, confirmed receipt and that all concerns were satisfied. Milliman IntelliScript considers this case closed, and the consumer is aware they may contact us with any other needs.
