  I hired an attorney thru this app in Feb 2023 for literally minor charges like tint, taillight, etc. I dont think i have the words to describe how stressful and waste of time this app will give you like literally took 10 MONTHS!!! Just to get my case resolved and I had to finally just drive 4 hours to go to court to get it resolved myself with my so called lawyer and guess what? I ended up paying more then my original amount plus got super speeder charge and nothing dismissed at all. What did i get out of this? My lawyer missing two court dates and NEVER and I literally mean NEVER respond to you and worse then all that is I ended up getting in more trouble since it took so long to get it resolved.??????? So even after all this chaotic mess you rely on the money back guarantee but nope that doesnt work either because they will deny it and say oh in ur case the money back does that work but were sorry the case didnt go your way. Guys, trust me DONT USE THIS APP WILL LOSE WAYYYY MORE MONEY I PROMISE THAT!????

  I paid $1,155 to off the record for the lawyer *************************** and *************************** to miss *********** dates in a row and then withdrawal from my case and no refund, I'm gonna get my refund, I'll contact ************ bar.

  Scammers! They lied! Charged me $500 from my credit card and no one appear in court! I had to pay the fee and report to my credit card as fraud! The attorney from ********** ** simple helps them to lie too and fake as everything looks good and perfect until I spoke with ******* *********** court and they advised me clear that I was victim of scams

  This service is a complete SCAM! I paid 200 dollars to them for representation and I received the same fine the same points on my license and because I hired an attorney, I must pay my fine within 30 days in full in order to be able to go to traffic school to remove the points on my license which of course is more money! I could have represented myself and accomplished the same results I never even received a consultation with the attorney they are a complete RIP OFF and I couldnt be more dissatisfied.

  They are cheats. The owed me a refund of 225 and tell me they sent to my bank. Yes a bank that closed 2 mos ago. Yet they claim it went through. They have poor communication and are crooks. They dont care about no one but themselves. They stole my money and refuse to give it back.

  Unfortunately, I would not recommend Off the Record to help you fight your ticket. I worked with them on a recent minor traffic ticket and found their service to be much more expensive than just paying the ticket, including misinformation, false advertising, and poor customer support. More specifically for those considering the service, keep in mind the Off the Record's primary tactic is to see if the officer will show up for your court date. If they do, you will be responsible for Off the Record's fee + the court / citation fee, which in my case ended up being 100% increase (double) what I would have paid for the citation and traffic school. This is where misinformation and false advertising come into play. I was told by their customer service that the fee for traffic school would be over $200, making the fees more agreeable. But after checking reputable traffic schools in **********, I found there were several options for $20! That's a huge difference.Secondly, on their website, they state, "Unfortunately, not every case is resolved favorably. Our partner attorneys understand this and agree that in certain situations their fees will not be considered earned. In such situations, a full or partial refund will be issued."In contacting them about this situation, I would have expected them to discount the service to at least be more in line with that I would have paid for the original ticket and traffic school. But no, the customer service was not consumer focused at all and really made the whole experience pretty poor. I like the concept of the business and if they had the right info and stood by their value, I would recommend it. But in this case, I'd recommend you deal with it yourself or find a different service.

  I don't like leaving negative reviews, but this experience was bad review worthy. The attorney I was given, was not professional or thorough. In fact, she was rude. One example...I couldn't open the documents she sent me. More than once, they appeared as a black screen. When I told her, she advised I call the court myself to find my court fees and fine as she tried 3 ways to send the document to me. A problem since the beginning. I paid for this attorney to do a job, and I truly was stressed the entire time because of my lack of confidence in her. I expressed my dissatisfaction to her 2 days ago. I haven't received a response. Finally I called the court for my fees and was informed I have to pay ****** on top of the ****** I paid the attorney. I later found out from a friend that I could have done the same work myself with the same result as they did. I am very disappointed.

  Do not hire that company, it's a SCAM. On their website it says that they refund their fees if they fail to remove the ticket fees...well that a lie :-( I was offered by the court that no need to go to court if I pay $226.16 fine and go to traffic school. After hired their attorney ********************* and paid $200, he messaged me said the fine is now reduced to $207.58, plus attending traffic school?! Only $18.58 reduction and they refused to give me refund. Don't believe their advertisement successful rate. The company, the attorney and the court are working together to make money out of ** who took a chance in believing this SCAM.

  Do not hire that company, it's a SCAM. On their website it says that they refund their fees if they fail to remove the ticket fees...well that a lie :-( I paid them 90$ and after trial, i still need to pay the ticket which is 166$. Using Off the record cost me more than if i just had paid the ticket directly. Very very bad decision to use them.

  Nothing good came out of what I went through. I ultimately paid TWO TIMES MORE than if I had attended traffic school. I paid a price for this service, but the ticket was not dismissed due to the incompetence of the supposed attorney. He apparently attends court with the hope that the officer will not be present. The defense attorney did nothing more than enter a plea of no contest. He made no effort to oppose it. I should have proactively requested a decrease on my fine and attended traffic school. A costly ****** was learned.
