    ordered a book for a class paid ***** extra for 2 day delivery witch is a lie when i received the tracking information it was almost 4 day delivery missing 2 full classes. If i had known when i ordered the product that i would miss 2 full classes thats its NOT 2 DAY DELIVERY I would not have paid ***** dollars extra. Its a con on students. I would not buy from this place, nor would i recommend this place. ***** for 2 day delivery you expect it to be here in 2 days not 4 days missing 2 classes. Since there ***** shipping is not 2 day shipping then they should not charge ***** extra. I should not be charged ***** when i would have made other arrangements knowing ahead time i would not have it in my possession now STILL HAVE TO MAKE OTHER ARRANGEMENTS and they have my ***** will not buy or recommend to any students

    Hello,I tried to return a book to Thriftbooks.com and they refused the return with no reason. I would like to receive a refund for this purchase. The book is not the book needed and was purchased in error. I contacted Thriftbooks.com via email and their response was less than informative with no options. I would like some assistance with this matter and receive a refund. Order #********* Book title:Understanding **************** Thank you.

    I bought around 100 books from ThriftBooks during my time with them and half of them arrived damaged or in worse condition than described. They provided refunds for the books I reported (which was not all of them because I felt bad asking for that many refunds but in retrospect I should have) but after a certain amount of refunds they WILL ban your account permanently without warning or notification.Theyll do this regardless if you have provided picture proof of all damaged books refunded and they will not warn you once that you may be banned for accepting refunds for those books in Like New condition with broken spines and scribbled pages.They advertise books in a specific condition, make you pay extra for that better condition, and send you books in bad condition. And if you ask for a replacement, theres a high chance youll end up with another poor condition book. They need to stop advertising books in Like New condition only to send you one with a broken spine or torn pages. They should also not penalize customers for seeking recompense for these badly conditioned, mis-advertised books. Its not the customers fault that they received bad books, and why punish without even a warning or suggestion that those refunds would get them banned?All theyve responded with so far is with generic copy and paste responses rather than addressing the quality of the books I received and pictures I have provided. Every one of there customer support agents had approved my refund after I gave them an accurate description and pictures (as requested) of the damage/faults in the book yet they ban you anyway. You request refunds for more than 20% of your purchases. This is a magnitude higher than the average customer refund rate. Is their response to the banning, which means if you order 100 books and 20 or more arrive not in the condition advertises and you seek a refund for them, youll be banned.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The terms of use does not indicate anywhere that you will often receive books in far worse condition than what you ordered. Do not advertise a book in like new condition for a higher price and then send moldy or severely damaged books instead.
