    I had surgery here in Sept. 2023. When I arrived, they forced me to pay $1292.00 up front. Once the insurance went through, the actual cost ended up being $560.00, so they owe me a refund of $732.00. They claim the refund was issued in November, but it's March now and I still haven't seen a dime. Nobody in customer service can tell me anything. They just say it's being "investigated" or "escalated to a supervisor". I've called nearly a dozen times and get the same runaround every time. I can't speak to a supervisor, I can't speak to the business office that supposedly investigating this issue, and nobody ever calls me with any information. The only people I can speak with are the useless customer service reps who can't do anything.

    I had the surgery on May 15, 2023, at First Hill Surgery, and there is a bill I need to pay, but they never sent the bill or any communication about the bill, so they sent the bill to the collection agent to call me to ask me to pay. I called the billing department to find out what was going on. The billing department told me they sent the wrong address, then said that was my response to call and check if they had the correct address on file. Why would I need to do it since I filled out the patient form before checking in? I received the bill from another department for that surgery, so I just paid for it. So it should not be my fault that they sent the bill to the wrong address and said that it was my responsibility to call and check. I asked them to send me the bill to my address so I could pay the bill, but they refused to do it; they wanted me to just pay through the phone. I don't trust their billing system, so I asked them to send me the statement so I could have an account number and other information to pay for the bill that I owe. They told me to either pay now or deal with the debt collector.

    I had eye surgery on 3-23-2022 performed by ************** of ************************* at the First Hill Surgery Center. My insurance is with Humana, and First Hill Surgery Center is normally considered out-of-network by Humana. There is an exception which can and was filed by ************** which allows billing at the in-network rate. Something was not initially recorded properly for this surgery, and the initial claim was processed as an out-of-network claim. The situation has been coordinated by ************** and Humana, but apparently they need First Hill Surgery to refile the claim using the original date of service. I have called First Hill at least 5 times. They have extremely long wait times, and offer to call back-then refuse to do so. I have reached them two or three times. They have refused to acknowledge the claim as an in-network claim and refuse to rebill the claim at the in-network rate or to refile the claim as requested by the insurance company (Humana). I have received two bills from them at the incorrect rate.
