My Solar panels have not been generating anything, and you can tell just by looking at my electricity bills, been trying for the past 9 months to come and fix the issue but they keep ignoring me and the lending company ASD keeps charging me for a product that does not work at all, they just keep telling me it does work, *** had 5 different independent companies come and look at the issue and they all agree it does not work BUT Omnidian does not care to send anyone and just wants to gaslight me and tell me it does work

We were sold Solar Panels through ********* almost a year ago. From the moment the pesky sales man wouldn't leave us alone, we should have walked away and blocked all communication from him and this company. We were told the whole process would be seamless and easy and the install would only be 1-2 days. It took them 3 months from when they said they would be installed to get installed. The "company" who installed the panels were on their first job (yay us) had no idea what was going on, and dragged the process out 2 weeks! And still had to keep coming back. Fast forward to after the install, we had a house fire. We notified Everbrite the day after. They then directed us to Omnidian, their 3rd party company they use. We were then told they would send someone out to access the damage. They sent a man who lived an hour away, and he was unable to do anything bc you know, fire damage. THEY NEVER SENT ANYONE ELSE OUT. We reached out to **** by phone and email, with no communication back. Fast forward 3 months from our very first call to Omnidian and now time for our rebuild, but guess what? The panels are still on our roof and we are still unable to get a solid answer on when they will be done. They have admitted they have dropped the ball on our account but has still not scheduled for anyone to come out. We will displaced out of our home for 6-12 months, and now even longer bc they won't do anything. They also informed us that we will foot the nearly 7k bill for the removal process. ( we don't even own these panels) The whole solar process was a nightmare and they will LIE LIE to get you sign their contracts, and they will slap a lien on your home without communicating that you. If you read reviews and past BBB claims, this place needs shut down. We would like to speak of the owner at this time, *************** are both terrible. Their emails are automated and they sound like robots not humans.

My residential solar system was purchased from ******************* in 2017. The residential accounts were later sold by ******************* to Astrum Solar, who then contracts out all maintenance to "Omnidian Solar". Omnidian is responsible to complete any repairs to my equipment which is also under warranty. They are unresponsive, My system went off line in December of 2024. I called for service and the technician came out a few weeks later and never fixed the bad inverter equipment that's connected to my system. the technician was also from a contracted repair company, and not an employee of Omnidian. They are delaying the return of the technician because of a lengthy internal process that requires them to pay for these services. They do not return my calls, they do not communicate with me on a regular basis, and I cannot get any answers regarding when this will be resolved. Its a classic run-around because they probably don't want to spend any money to fix what they are responsible for. This issue has been going on for over six months. I am also guaranteed a refund for lost production time and expenses when my system goes offline. I cant imagine how difficult that will be to recuperate.

I Have had a roof leak since February that was deemed by Omidian Astrum to be solar related . Since then its been countless emails and runaround,no repair work has been done to the roof that they drilled a hole in. As far as the internal renovation they are telling me to that I wall have to pay upfront and they will reimburse me,which is laughable because I can barely get them to respond to my emails. At this point water is coming into my house every time is rains and they don't seem to care at all. My entire roof need to be replaced by then because the messed the install up so bad and now even after all of this my roof is still leaking. ******** company stay away!

They say in their response that they recommend getting a company to tarp my panels but again they wanted me to foot the bill. Also while the panels are covered  my system would not be producing, then I would need to go after them again for reimbursement.  Given the state of things at the time this was unacceptable to me I have already been inconvenienced enough. With that being said we are making progress, Astrum sent a check for internal remediation. They also sent out a new monitoring unit .They  tell me the work order is approved, however this started 2/25 and its now 5/27 and no work has been done ***** roof. So we are getting there slowly but surely.  I will update my response when this is finally over.

Had two solar panel arrays installed a year ago. After the spring thaw I noticed that one full array of panels was not generating any power. My wife and I have contacted Omnidian no less that ten times to get it fixed over the past month now and have seen no resolution. All the while I'm having to pay local utilities to make up for the loss of power generation in addition to paying for the panels themselves. The few times we get to speak to somebody, a rare occasion as we typically get kicked over to their answering service, they give us the noncommital response of "We'll call you back when we have anything to tell you." They never call back.

Ever since last year that we got this solar company to come out here and put our solar panels and have a 25 year contract with them it's been a hassle. My solar system stopped working about four days ago and it's been a hassle trying to even get in contact with them. I finally was able to contact them today and they pretty much transferred me to someone else. That person had me reboot the solar system I am sad. We had to wait to see if the system started again before we could even make an appointment to have someone come out here and look at the system. It is now evening, and the system is not working. They never made an appointment for me or they haven't even called me back to say hey your system is not working let's make an appointment. How many days do I have to wait with my solar panels not working and me paying the solar company money and SDG&E money for Solar it's just not fair!!!! Why do we need to pay for a solar system when it's down? I am worried because I don't even know how many days they're going to take to have someone out here and look at the system and fix it. I'm being taken advantage of and honestly I don't know what to do. This company is definitely not what they say they are.

We purchased a home with leased solar panels from *********************. Our panels have not been working, the meter needs to be replaced, and we cannot get anyone out to do this. Meanwhile we are still being charged the monthly $100 fee. *** contracts with a company called Omnidian for repairs, and they sub out to Indigo Solar for the meter replacement. I have been calling for two months trying to get a tech out to replace the meter and they either never call me back or say a supervisor will call within 5 business days, which has yet to happen. Each company states they are independent of each other but we are paying someone to maintain our system so they should be coming out. All of these companies use a call center so no one that answers has any official capacity to make decisions. Do we have to sue them to get our service?

My husband and I purchased a home--**********************************************************************--in early December 2024. The purchase required that we assume a solar panel lease. We have since reached out to the solar panel company (ASD Solar, LP) and the solar panels company's maintenance company (Omnidian) 20+ times for service to our panels via phone call/voicemail, email and text message, including spending 12+ hours on hold. Omnidian has confirmed over the phone 4 times that our panels are not communicating correctly and that they require service and/or repair. However, they will not move forward with scheduling service or repair to our panels and refuse to provide any additional information. When I have asked to speak with a manager or someone who can provide information, I am continually transferred to "the wrong department" and left on hold until business hours close and the call automatically terminates. We are seeking prompt service to our panels, as well as a reimbursement for the lease payments made while our panels have not been working correctly.

    Complaint: 23116086

I am rejecting this response because: Reimbursement has been requested from Omnidian, as Omnidian has been the entity preventing the use and "enjoyment" of the panels. As of today, 4/16/2025, we do not have confirmation that our panels are working properly. Our first request for service to our panels was on 2/10/20205. It is also worthwhile to note that until we contacted Omnidian on 2/10/2025, we had no way of knowing whether or not the panels were working at all. After over 2 months of requesting service, and multiple comments about our panels not communicating with Omnidian's software, a third-party provider (************) came to our home to view the panels yesterday. However, the feedback provided by this company is not providing any clarity on our issue and, to our dismay, has not resolved any problems with Omnidian, as they are unable to provide any additional information, nor a timeline for resolution.

Furthermore, ******* response about multiple phone calls in one day fails to illustrate the picture of how many times I have attempted to resolve the issues with our panels/get confirmation that our panels are working correctly. It can absolutely be noted that I have tried to call multiple times a day due to dropped calls and failure to get response. However, her log does not include any information on calls/texts/emails in which I was placed on hold or directed to a different party. Regardless of the many attempts, the point still stands that resolution has not been received, nor is there a timeline for projected resolution either.

    Sincerely,

The inverters on our solar panels stopped working while under warranty. Omnidian said they needed time to work out replacing them and offered compensation for one year with assurance that they were not just trying to run out our warranty. Now that a year has passed, they refuse to schedule replacement of the faulty inverters as promised a year ago. We have been very patient. Now they are saying to call them in two weeks because I have to wait until a full year has lapsed. I keep asking why a service appointment can't just be scheduled, ****** one will answer the question.A year is more than enough time for a company to figure out how to service their systems when that company exists for sole purpose of installing such systems. We did not install our solar panels as just a return on investment. We chose to purchase them to be an active user of clean energy. ********************** is denying us that by continually stalling on the repair of our inverters.

I am rejecting this response because: business does not respond to me until they are contacted by the BBB. Note the date and time of the BBB email to ************ and their response within two hours. I, on the other hand, contacted them by email twice, without any response. I continue to await service. I do not understand the delay in scheduling and feel again that this is a stalling tactic. This is exhausting after a year of waiting patiently.

We had solar panels installed in 2017 by *************. Soon thereafter ************* dropped out of the residential solar business and passed customer service management of our system to Omnidian.I contacted Omnidian in April because we need to temporarilyremove the solar panels to replace our roof. In May a techniciancame to inspect the roof to see if the leaks were caused by the solar panels. They determined it was not.Since then we continue to wait for a quote to have the solar panels removed. There have been over 25 e-mail back and forth since this started. We cannot proceed with the roof repair until Omnidian arranges for the solar panel removal.
