    Poor communication and hidden fees. We had a last minute stay in Seattle WA for a soccer game and booked a condo from LUX on Airbnb. After receiving an additional fee of $100, for last minute reservations, I requested a refund. The team, Lux, said we would not receive our money back therefore, we agreed to stay. I’ve never heard of last minute fees I was appalled. We expressed we wouldn’t have booked if I’d seen the fees. Going back, at least for this property, I did not see the extra fee for last minute reservations. The screenshot that was shared with me had wording I never found on this particular reservation. Also, my refund was only granted after I expressed I would leave a review. What makes their communication worst, is that I wasn’t aware I was getting a refund until I got to the condo almost 1.5 hours after requesting my refund directly through Lux and the customer service line. Poor communication from Lux team.

    Just got back from a deployment and needed a place ASAP as I transitioned to my next duty station. I was able to find a gem of an Air B&B not far from Boise state. All of management was supportive and if I needed anything, I had a quick response. I informed them of a small leak that occurred in the morning. They contacted maintenance and it was fixed, cleaned up and good to go quickly. I appreciate them for ensuring my stay was great. Well stay again

    Host Scam and ******'s Indifference I am writing to file a complaint against both ****** and one of their hosts, Luxsle Corp. My recent experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare, marked by deceitful practices and a complete lack of support from ******.Upon booking a property, I paid all required fees before my check-in date. However, before the day of my arrival, the host demanded additional unlisted charges and refused to provide the entry code until these charges were paid. This unexpected demand left me stranded and frustrated.Attempts to resolve the issue with the host were met with uncooperative and unprofessional behavior. I then turned to ****** for assistance, expecting them to intervene and resolve the matter. Despite numerous calls and messages to ******'s customer service, I received no effective help. Their representatives were dismissive, rude, and unhelpful, often promising callbacks that never happened and avoiding escalation to higher management.Recently, I discovered that this host, Luxsle Corp, is under investigation by the Attorney General for similar complaints from other guests. Yelp has also flagged their account for "Questionable Legal Threats."This entire ordeal has been incredibly stressful and disappointing. ******'s failure to address the host's misconduct or provide any meaningful support is unacceptable. I am seeking a full investigation into this matter and appropriate actions against both the host and ****** for their negligent and deceptive practices.Thank you for your attention to this serious issue. ******

    Gorgeous place, even better than the pictures. Spotless. The view is amazing. Everything worked. It was very quiet and peaceful.

    Avoid booking anything with the company at all costs. I booked one of their places on Airbnb without reading all the fine print they hid in the listing. My mistake. They messaged me right after I booked and made some of the requirements more clear. Their check in window is only between 4-6PM. My train wasn't arriving until 8PM. I informed them about this and asked if I could do late check in or cancel the booking. I asked them this just 7 minutes after making the booking.They said I could do late check in for a $300 fee. I was taken aback. They said my other option is for me to cancel the booking but I quickly learned they have a no refund policy so I'd be out over $1,000. So I moved my calendar around and changed my train to get an earlier one. Then they said I need to provide them with my ID. I asked why they need my ID for on at least 5 separate occasions and how they would secure my personal information. They refused to disclose what they needed it for and kept replying with a canned response that if they didn't receive it, I wouldn't be allowed to check in.I informed them I'd be leaving a negative review and they tried getting me to admit that I'd only be leaving a negative review if they didn't cancel the booking. I said "No I'm leaving a terrible review because your policies are terrible and your customer service is worse". Reading through these BBB complaints, I now see their angle. They were trying to bait me into confessing "extortion" so they could make empty threats of harassment and extortion like they have with other complainants below.I ended up providing my ID as they asked and they confirmed my check in appointment. Then, the morning of my reservation, they cancelled my booking. They didn't want me leaving a negative review within the Airbnb app and they intentionally waited until the morning of my booking to inconvenience me and make it harder for me to find another place.I look forward to their response and how they try to spin this.

    GOOD GRIEF! Stay away from this company! Luxsle stole a $1,000 of my money along with Airbnb.I accidently booked with this host (Luxsle) through Airbnb. I notified the host of my need to cancel within minutes of booking, well before the 48-hour window Airbnb's Strict Cancelation policy allows for. The host denied to me in writing that I would get a full refund. The Airbnb support staff read from a script, and I got nowhere when trying to resolve the issue. I have submitted all the info including complaints against both companies by other people who have had the same experience.... theft from ******************************* to the Attorney General of **********. They said they may find enough evidence to pursue the investigation further after both companies, again denied me a refund. within the hour. AND... if I am paying $1,000 for a place that I do not get to stay shouldn't I be allowed to write a review warning people of this horrible host that Airbnb allows? This is wrong on all levels. I encourage others to contact the Attorney General of ********** if they too have experienced such awful treatment as a consumer with Luxsle or Airbnb. We, the people, are supposed to have consumer rights!

Airbnb forces you to acknowledge the refund policy before moving forward with the bbooking. We cannot be responsible for your booking and cancelling on another companies website.

    Team Lux,I notified you within minutes I needed to cancel. Supposedly under the Airbnb strict cancellation policy you have 48 hours to cancel. You said, No. Bottom left you and Airbnb stole $1,000. I guess you win. Hopefully, others will see the scam before they get taken
