    This is my 2nd attempt to have BBB look into this matter- As of July 2023, when I was given a bridge for my bottom jaw, I have complained about the poor/painful and non-functioning of it. I can NOT wear it and chew food. I have tried to work with this clinic by disputing the charge so I'd have $$ to go to another clinic, I have asked to go to another dental clinic in this affiliation, and I asked to return to this clinic for a new bridge to be made. The dentist said that the new bridge would only be made "IF ALL REMAINING TEETH WERE REMOVED AND A FULL DENTURE MADE". This clinic had a 100% guarantee for 100 days so I believed that adjustments could be made. I have been told repeatedly that only the dentist can decide another treatment course. So I am out my $$ and any working teeth. I am 82 yrs. old and need my teeth. thank you.

    Dear BBB,I am writing to file a formal complaint against Affordable Dentures regarding their unethical business practices and failure to provide the services promised. My experience with them has been extremely disappointing, and I believe it is essential to bring this matter to your attention.Here are the details of my complaint:1. Initial Promise: * Affordable Dentures assured me that they would work with my ***************** dual plan to reduce the cost of dentures. * They promised to find a solution that would accommodate my financial situation.* They offer a money back guarentee if not satisfied. Online, and on tv.1. Services Rendered: * I visited Affordable Dentures twice: once for an x-ray (covered by insurance) and the second time for a mold of my teeth. *They never paid down the loan as promised and it is unpaid at 4800, * I asked when doing molds, about the fit, if gonna take years to get to, and they said don't worry! Come back when teeth are out. * I have been toothless on bottom for almost 8 mo.2. Billing and Financial Agreement: * I signed up for their Care Credit program, believing it would allow me to pay the bill over time as work was completed. * However, Affordable Dentures withdrew all $12,000 immediately from my account without doing anything. * I have repeatedly tried to reason with them, and their many empty promises, or lies.. 3. Lack of Communication and Unfulfilled Promises: * Despite numerous attempts, I have not received any dentures. * Affordable Dentures promised to pay off a portion of the bill, but this never materialized. * They have been unresponsive to my calls and inquiries.4. Concerns About Timing: * When they took the mold, I expressed my concern about the timing, (atleast 2 yrs) as I still had over 20 teeth to extract. And bill was going to be two years of insurance They assured me it would not be an issue, but their actions have proven otherwise. Refund all!

    I am writing this complaint on behalf of my sister. She went in for a procedure and dentures on 10/23/2023 at Affordable Dentures and Implants in Silverdale, WA. I am the trustee of her ******* Needs Trust (**** and paid the total balance of $5,420.00 from her SNT over the phone at 9:35am that day. My sister had second thoughts and contact Affordable Dentures and Implants the following day, 10/24/2023, to say that she wanted to cancel the dentures and request a refund. I received an email from ****** "*******" ******* at Affordable Dentures on October 24, 2023 at 4:19pm. In the email, she states "we are able to do a partial refund of $3930.....If you could please give me your address so I can request a check from Corporate to be sent to you for refund" ***************** located in **************). I provided her with my mailing address. She told me to call her back in 2-3 weeks if I had not received the check by then. On December 1, 2023, I called her to let her know I had not received a refund check in the mail. She said that Corporate was requesting a copy of my (the **** bank statement showing that the payment to Affordable Dentures and Implants had cleared. I copied the requested bank statement and mailed it to her. On January 19, 2024, I received a check from Affordable Care, LLC (************** corporate office) in the amount of $1,350.00. I called ******* to ask her why the refund check was not in the amount of $3930. She said she would email corporate and get back to me the following Monday (January 22, 2024). On January 26, 2024, I called *******. She told me she needed 15 minutes and would call me back. She did call me back to say that she and doctor ********************** DDS P) emailed Corporate about this and she would "keep me posted." On February 6, 2024, I called ******* as I had not heard back from her. I left a message with someone because she was not available. On February 14, 2024, I called *******, as I had not heard back from her, and she stated they were "still waiting to hear from Corporate." At this point, March 30, 2024, I have lost faith that Affordable Dentures and Implants is sincerely attempting to get the additional amount of the refund. I am filing this complaint with the hope that we can get this resolved and the additional refund amount of $2,580 for my sister's ******* Needs Trust account.

    I had decided to get dentures as my health conditions warranted. While there i researched there pricing structure, and decided i could afford this. their pricing sheet says $100.00 per tooth for removal. They sent me to an oral surgeon that charged me ********. then they said i needed two implants on the bottom. their pricing structure says ******** per implant. they charged me ******** this is after they told me I had to make a nonrefundable deposit of $809.00 the day I went in for my first visit. but remember they said they don't bill insurance. so, I spent all this money and stood to get back ******** in refunds after filing my insurance claim. however affordable dentures and implants Silverdale had already billed my insurance for *******. dollars the first day i was there and because they did that and said the claim was closed. I am unable to receive any reimbursements from my insurance. Their response to me was " you got what you paid for."

    This starting almost 3.5 years ago. I went to affordable dentures and began the process to get dental implants and new dentures. When it was time for surgery the dentist there wasnt able to do so they referred me to a dentist that works out of tacoma branch. Short story after almost year of healing my implants failed, during this time I had got my final denture through silverdale when I got it I was very unhappy with it and they said they would redo but this was during Covid so everything took so long and at this point I was bouncing between the two branchs. Because I had to have 2nd surgery at tacoma cause thats where the traveling dentists was only working out of not silverdale anymore. Long times in between the healing took forever lots of complications. By time I was healed the dentures silverdale made for implants wouldnt fit now. When contacting silverdale thinking they were gonna keep their word to do denture over they then informed me I had balance of 600 plus. I thought total price covered all, apparently I missed that I had pay for a temp ugly denture to wear after surgery which I had no intentions and do not recall them telling me I would owe for something Id never use!! So now tacoma said they would redo all if I paid that balance at silverdale which took while but I did! Now they arent answering! Tried contacting coorprate getting no where! *** had regional manager who insured they would redo I just had pay for the new implant holes, which even at that I feel why did I have sencond surgery did dentist mess up? I agreed to pay cause feel only way I will have teeth! So done with all this 3.5 years I pay 116 month my implants have had no after care and have had issues! **** plu dollars in debt and now Im being ignored!! *** got a opinion from another dentist they confirmed my final denture is awful and trying get my records to maybe help me but tacoma very unprofessionally making that difficult!!! 46 years old and I put my self in debt for this!!

    This patient is was dismissed from Silverdale office on 1/21/22.  According to Affordable Dentures legal department she refused delivery of the letter.  This has been an ongoing issue with **************** that started because she chose to seek tx at another Affordable Dentures location.  She has wanted to switch back and forth between offices which is not possible. We are separately owned entities.  The grievances that she outlined in her complaint are with the Tacoma office.   The remaining tx plan that she included is with the Tacoma office.  Our corporate office has advised her on multiple occasions that she is to deal only with them.

    On 8/9/22 I went to affordable denture in Silverdale,WA phone # ************ to get top denture repaired. While there I decided to get new dentures.The dentist took impressions and said to come back for wax try in.I came back tried the dentures in wax.The teeth were to small and didn't fit right I told the dentist I didn't like them and they didn't fit and you couldn't see them.That's why I spent the extra money to buy premium dentures.She told me to sign this form or she wouldn't do anything else for me.I ****** the form and thought she was going to make new dentures. I came back in a week she took my dentures and tried to adjust them which did no good.I went several more times and she would grind more each time and they still didn't fit and I continue to have sores on my gums. She can't fix these dentures because she took too much off bottom denture.They don't cover my gums and top denture was messed up when they tried to lower it so it showed more teeth. She refuses to give me a refund or provide new dentures as per the attched warranty I am 74 years old,a cancer survivor with one lung,copd, on 2 liters continuous flow oxygen and hypertension.I don't want to go in there anymore.It is a hostile environment for me just to go there for a 10 minute appt. So she can grind on these dentures,not to mention it is extremely hard on me just to go there I talked with ***** and ***************************** from the claims ***** Phone ,# ************ about this and ******** said she would get back to me.That was last week and I have called her several times and left messages.I hope someone can help me.They can't fix my dentures as evidenced by the 6 appts. The warranty says if I am not totally satisfied they will make new dentures or give total refund.I don't want to have to go back there.I just want them to honor their warranty.I sure hope you can help me. I can't afford to buy more dentures.I just want my money back.Thanks, *** .

    ****************** presented to our clinic on 8/9/22 for both the repair of his existing upper denture and fabrication of a new set of premium dentures.  We took impressions for the new set of dentures that day and her returned the following week for a wax tryin on 8/17.  At that time the patient was unsatisfied with bite of upper teeth and unsatisfied with bite of lower teeth.   The patient  was unsatisfied with amount of upper teeth showing and unsatisfied with amount of lower teeth showing. Notations were made and he returned for a second wax tryin on 8/24/22  at that time the patient approved the size, shape and color of teeth as well as the lip support and amount of teeth showing. (see attached signed WTI form).    Pt's dentures were delivered on 8/31/22 and attached warranty was given.  Pt returned for two adjustments on 9/13/22 and 9/27/22.  At his first adjustment he stated he was unhappy with the esthetics of the dentures.  We explained that he had signed the tryin consent form and we could not do a remake without an additional charge.  At that time the patient stated he did not care what he had signed and got belligerent with staff and threatened legal action.   We told him we were happy to do further adjustments. He returned on the 27th at that the patient did not express any further concerns.  He reached out to our corporate office about a refund and we let them know that we were more than happy to meet with ****************** and discuss his concerns and see if further adjustments needed to be done or issue a refund if there was an issue with the quality of the dentures.

    I am rejecting this response because: I was never happy with the dentures and told her during every appointment.All she would do was grind off more of the denture which made it worse.The warranty states if I am not totally satisfied they will refund my money.

    As stated in my previous response...The patient is encouraged to reach out to our office for either an adjustment to his dentures or to return them for a refund.  Our tx plan coordinator attempted to call him after the initial complaint and did not get an answer.

    in 01/01/2020 I paid $8000.00 for new upper dentures, lower teeth extraction with 4 implants and new lower dentures. In 09/26/2022 the lower right implant came loose. affordable dentures wanted to send me to a different town to have it looked at, which I couldnt do decades of health problems, so they sent me to another dentist. that dentist wanted $4000.00 to fixe. While waiting for appointment date the implant fell out and I noticed that it had just came unscrewed. I would like for affordable dentures to fix or give me a refund. that should be able to fix in the Silverdale office where they originally did the implants

    Date of procedure 5/11/2022 Amount paid: $7,000 I had a consultation with affordable dentures about 2 weeks before my procedure date. They determined I needed full top and bottom dentures. I never saw or spoke to the dentist during this consultation. It was high pressure with the person I saw to get the money the same day. I returned the following day with a check for the total procedure. The tech had to do impressions more than once because they weren't usable. I only had my top teeth extracted during my procedure. The immediate denture sat in my mouth crooked. I went in for adjustments and it made it worse. I had a soft reline that was so bad, I couldn't fit the denture in my mouth afterwards. I called and the earliest they could get me in was 7 days later. At this point, I decided to see my old dentist for a consultation and second opinion. In his opinion, I did not even need dentures on my bottom teeth. I went back to affordable dentures and expressed my concerns. They agreed to remake my top immediate and provide a refund. My major issue is that, they will only provide a refund for less than half of what I paid for only a quarter of the job completed. The math is not adding up. I have tried to reach someone at the corporate level through email and calling eight different phone numbers without success. I finally reached patient care at corporate. Waiting to speak with them
