      Hey there was employee named **** that helped me understand how fitness and exercising is important to my health. I can not wait to come the the club and have him show me how to improve my health and lifestyle.       Business makes it very difficult to cancel a membership. Then after months of trying to cancel, charges reappear and come to find out an employee is stealing from members payments.

      Nice place and pieces of equipment; but the cancellation process is sh**t... Once you sign a one-year contract, they will charge you for upcoming years without notice, the best way of stealing money!!! the best part is, "YOU WILL NOT EVEN NOTICE!"THEY HAVE THE WORST CANCELLATION/RENEWAL MANAGEMENT!

      Hi ********. We apologize for any confusion on your agreement. Your membership does not automatically cancel at the end of your contract time. In order to ensure your membership rate, it rolls into a month to month agreement. At that time, you can cancel at any time by coming into the facility Monday through Friday or sending in a letter.       I enjoyed muv, until covid hit and they shut down, freezing everyone's accounts. I was called later and asked if I wanted to resume. I said not at this time. I later found out whoever I spoke to wrote thar I gave express permission to unfreeze the account and they charged me. When I realized they had been charging for 2 years I contacted them and was told if I came in they could refund me. I came in and didnt recieve any refund of any sort. Extremely predatory practices. Spoke to someone in corporate and was told they had heard this more than once from customers.

      They just charged me ***** 3 months after I canceled membership. I was month to month with corporate acct. they said I owed nothing. When I called the ******* south hill muv fitness they said I dont owe them anything and that there is nothing showing they took money out. I contacted my bank and disputed it. My bank said they definitely took money out

      I bought two 18 month memberships one for me and my daughter, paid cash upfront. When the end of my membership was coming up, I asked the south hill gym manager how to make sure they stopped taking money from my account once my memberships ended. They said they would put a note on my account and everything was all good. Took them on their word and never thought about it.
      Last week going through my finances, I noticed that they were still taking money out of my account after almost two years for both memberships. So I called to tell them to stop, spoke with ****** (?) at the south hill branch. She said not only would they stop, but she would issue a refund within ten days.
      Seven days later, on Memorial Day, I get a call from someone saying they work for corporate and want to reevaluate whether or not they’re going to pay my money back because according to the contract I signed I’m supposed to show up in person to cancel, even though I was assured that speaking to the gym was sufficient.
      I shouldn’t have to beg them for money they should not have taken in the first place. He ended up telling me he won’t issue the refund and hung up on the call and blocked my number like a child. They’re knowingly screwing people over. At this point I don’t even know if they’re going to keep charging me.

      Forced to give personal information online for pricing. Constantly get phone calls asking if Ive come down to check out the facility even after telling them the 1st time I have no interest whatsoever.

      I had been a member at this facility for over a year and on Monday 11/21 another MEMBER came into the locker room while I was working out, picked my lock on my locker door and stole my purse, wallet, phone, keys and my CAR. This gym has NO LIABILITY for the stolen property, even when other members are coming in, stealing and picking your locks. No information or video footage has been shared, I've dealt with their club coordinator ********************* not call me back to give me any information, and when I finally did get ahold of her I asked what they are going to do to protect their other members, and I got yelled at for wanting more accountability. They will only give info to the police, and with the rate of crime in Portland, that is not going to happen. They refused to give me any corporate numbers, couldn't even contact their management by phone and ultimately are not bringing any justice to me losing 1000's of dollars and my car. And lastly, when trying to cancel mine and my partner's accounts because we both were robbed and didn't feel safe anymore in the facility, there was some really unprofessional communication about canceling our memberships with the district manager. This gym will not protect you and is aggressive with fees and will not help with you if you encounter trouble. This gym is not worth it.

      Muv Fitness was my friend until they made an unauthorized transaction to my account and attempted to make another. I had to make a stop payment to them at my bank. I paid off my 12-month membership agreement in advance in June 2022, and signed the paperwork to end it. I even called them the month it ended to see if my membership was still active to come in, and they said my membership had already ended. They made another monthly charge to my account in October, and then attempted to make another in November; however, it didnt go through in my account. They were calling me everyday this week to make the payment and warning me about a late fee. At first, I thought it was a scam call. I finally talked to the accounts manager and she said they have no record of paperwork to end my membership!! Which makes no sense and is so fraudulent! Let me say this again, I called them to see if my membership had ended and ***they told me it had ended and I dont have access to the club.*** Completely ridiculous and illegal.
