Remodeling kitchen. Got 3 bids 2 of which were appt. $5000 more than NW Granite and more. They said they would only need 2 slabs of Dekton for our countertops versus the 3 the others would charge us for. There would be 1 seam and it wouldnt match perfectly but would not be noticeable. We put $6,000 down with the agreement that the final $2,026.66 would be paid at job completion. The installers did not get along so one of them stayed outside while the other completed the job. Once they left we inspected their job and found that 3 different pieces of countertops were each placed with the pattern running different directions, 3 seams that show and two of the front are running in different directions and where they meet it forms a very noticeable triangle of the patterns running into each other. I called customer service and sent him pictures. He said the mgr would call me. After a few days with no response I called again. Spoke to another employee. He put me on hold and transferred me to a voicemail that only had a beep to leave a message. I did and called him back. He said he would have the mgr call me and within a couple of hours they sent me a bill for the remaining balance. The counters were installed on 10/11/2024. Today is the 21st and still nothing. I am left with unprofessionally installed counters and a bill. I feel angry and helpless. If they cant be fixed then I dont think we should have to pay the balance.
