      Twitch changed their policy to require phone verification. All persons are required to connect their phone number if they want to speak privately to another person, do things with your account, talk in other people's chats that is phone verified chat only stream. The phone number I possess is not able to be connected. Twitch is stating that my phone number is associated with another account. More than likely it's associated with the prior owner's twitch account. I contacted ********************** Help and made a few suggestions. However, the suggestions did not resolve my problem. From my perspective, Twitch has the authority to disable my phone number from the other account so I can connect it with my Twitch account. But they are saying they don't have that authority. Twitch employees are not fully trained to resolve customer issues. ********************** employees are not trained to escalate the issue to higher team members so it can be resolved. Twitch employees do not care about their streamers who are having issues. Twitch should resolve my issue! I just don't understand why they can't do what needs to be done. I'm so upset and I am so disappointed. All they care about is the money I'm being given through subscriptions, gifted subscriptions, etc. I do the work to get the revenue and they don't help when I need it.
