    **** a plumber with Bulldog Rooter came out to my home on appointment to fix my toilets [minor problem] replace toilet seat on one & metal pull chain rusted causing ***** water in the other one This is germane to the issue I am a senior; my husband just died so I needed the help unable to do it myself **** is an excellent plumber I have used him before But before I could call him on his ************ to him they have changed that now where all goes through the receptionists Has totally changed their business to rude; uncaring; arrogant attitude towards customers I am assuming a part of their nasty attitude is based on how big/ how much $$$ they think they are going to make off of you **** is so kind & good at what he does I have put up with it Calli's attitude has crossed the line to ABUSE They are the only *************** that charges me $95. just to come to my area OMG I was willing to pay it because **** is so caring & thus far his work has been great **** told me when he was here at my home that he had to order the toilet seat he said he would order it right away & should be able to install it by mid next week Re other toilet he said he had the part in stock at the business ready So I planned to see him the next week He said he would call me to set the appt for the installation After a week went by with NO CONTACT FROM **** OR THE OFFICE STAFF I called to inquire usually I talk to Calli [sp?] who has never been polite but this time she was COLD AND RUDE more than her usual; the fact that she feels she can treat customers so poorly leads me to believe she must be related to the owner!I am an Ordained ************ always remain kind & polite She very abruptly/rudely Snapped at me that they did not have the toilet seat yet!In fact you can get the same seat delivered from ********** in a day I have been forced to use toilet w/o a seat for 2 weeks now I have broken right **************** going to call & get screamed at by Calli [sp] ever again!

    Im disheartened to hear about this. This is the first Im hearing about this incident. Ive personally reached out to Mrs. ******** (5/19 @ 7:24pst) and left a voicemail with my personal cell phone number as her contact so she can speak to me and only me. We will refund her the entirety of the last service call. As soon as we can make contact we will get her a toilet seat that day! 

    As far as Calli, I will deal with her internally once I listen to the calls and verify what has been said and the manner it said.

    The trip charge is spoken about before a scheduled appointment is set. Mrs. ******** knew the fee upfront. I cant speak for other compnies and what they do or dont charge  

    We will resolve this with a full refund and get the toilet in working order ASAP!

    September 11th Paid bulldog rooter over $400.00 for unclogging my drain line. They did not unclog it, and said I needed to pump my septic. They were wrong. I dug up the lid to my septic tank baffle myself and used a garden hose to unclog it. They did not provide me the service they advertised. I called to speak to the manager twice and he never returned my calls.

    We were on site for over two hours attempting to clear the drain. The tech on site gave a few options to the homeowner as well as dug up the sepric lid for inspection. The work performed allowed the line to be cleared by the homeowner. If we were allowed further steps, we would've had the same result as the home owner. Due to the fact we spent time moving this issue forward, exposed the septic lid by digging it up as it was below the surface allowing access to the line, warrants the charge paid by the home owner. When going into a drain clog situation, we never know what we are faced with. The line clogged from an issue not by happen stance. We make every attempt to clean the drain. Sometimes we aren't successful, not from a lack of trying. The time spent on site to diagnose and make every attempt to clean the drain that home owners allow us to wether or not we are successful isn't free of charge.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    It simply was not true that the tech was in any way inhibited from performing his job. I was at work, and needed it done. That's why I called for a professional to do the work.

    He could have dug up the other lid (baffle) to the septic tank but he did not. He could have then used something to clean out the main line (Im sure he was better equipped than me with a garden hose) but he did not. Im not a plumber or rooter or whatever and I did it myself after I had paid for a service that just was not performed. It just seems like an instance of someone looking for an excuse to get paid without doing the job. The owner never returned my calls. This is not a good business practice. I am not happy with the situation and want to prevent other people from this type of experience.
