They only get one star because the ease of booking and that they came out the same day and appear to have fixed the problem for now. They appear caring and professional. One guy looked embarrassed at the charges. They are salesmen who try to scam even single mothers out of $20k, lying that you have crappy orangeberg pipes that have to be excavated and replaced. They prey on your lack of knowledge and panic making it sound like they are giving a good deal when they nickel and dime you. They wont even put a camera down your pipes without $350. Then to pull a chain through your pipes to move the roots that are causing the blockage they add another $530. They know I'm not rich and I was very kind. They should be ashamed of making a single mom panic and trying to bankrupt her. I called Spokane water and sewer who said that they put "Foam Root Killer" down their toilet 3x/year and have never had to call in a plumber to snake their clogged drains in 16 years. They have one of the old homes in ****************** too. After my boyfriend went to work, the bigger bearded guy also thought he was being sly trying to feel me up with a very firm unwanted hug and I had to push him away. This company also seems to love to say they have no record of half of the people who leave detailed bad reviews. Then he texted me privately: Bulldog Rooter: Thanks for the feedback. Single mom or not, your sewer line will ultimately collapse. It's your choice if you want to be proactive and do something while you can or be reactive and let it cost you more. You clearly had a blockage already which should tell you there's an issue. If that's not a sign to do something, that's your call. Take *******: A blockage doesn't equal a collapse. Being a bullying a** hole doesn't make you right either.

We've used Bulldog twice over the past year or so. Excellent service both times. On one occasion, the plumber accidentally drilled a hole through a drain pipe which I didn't realize until he was gone. Called them and though there was a delay of a few days (it was during the deep freeze this winter) another fellow came out, did the repair and charged us nothing. Highly recommended.

Sep 2022. (1st encounter.) It ultimately came down to 1 extremely unprofessional person - *****, the Field ************** of Operations for Bulldog Rooter. My sewer backed up 2 1/2 weeks after they did a job mid 2022. ***************************** (Sully) came out to scope the line, and found rocks, admitting that Bulldog caused the back up, and apologized profusely. He informed *****. I spoke with ***** a couple times since who told me not to worry, Bulldog would take care of everything. He contacted a couple outfits to clean up & repair my basement. The bills came to me. I called *****. He changed his tune saying it wasn't their fault and would not cover any costs. He became rude & sarcastic how a rock, that he had no way of measuring, in the 4" pipe could have possibly come from the 2.5" pipe. This rock was not alone, piled up with other rocks. He later suggested he showed me the rock which he never did. His childlike rudeness became increasingly aggressive towards me which I'll be fully transparent, caused my temper to flare. I could hardly believe he went back on his word, and turned the blame on me. He hung up on me. Fast forward to today, Dec 28, 2023. The basement sink backed up. I called Bulldog. ** said the back up was due to a grease build up. His scope was so blurry, I couldn't make anything out. Not trusting what I was told or saw, I had ******************* (JB) come out. ****** scope created a ******* clear video of what was going on. It was clear, the actual cause of the problem was a belly in the 2.5" liner that Bulldog installed. It had sunk into the gravel bed & pooled up with water. I called Bulldog to ask about a workable solution. **** returned my call with hostile intent, and quickly became belligerent as if prepared for combat. He accused me of being a perpetual complainer and of trying to get out of paying for their service. I've never encountered such extreme unprofessionalism & lack of customer care. He is an absolute embarrassment to Bulldog.
