      Client of Sunshine disposal for 12 years, never had an issue. December I had a garbage pick up (64 gallon tote supplied by Sunshine) and when I went to retrieve the garbage can it was still half full of garbage. I called and was told they can come back and get it or I can put the remaining trash from the tote out for the next weeks pickup, I opted for the latter. Put it on the calendar and of course when I got the bill I was charged more than $12 extra!! Newly single and watching finances closely i immediately called where I 'argued' with a *** for about 15 minutes. She kept saying we'll they allowed one bag and I kept saying half of a 64 gallon tote was not one bag and the excess was obviously from the partial emptied tote the week before. Stupid stuff and obviously I was trying to avoid additional fees well in advance ad thats why I called them ad told them there will be extra garbage the next week. What kind of company says one thing and then doesn't follow through and back it? Its sad that this service is a monopoly and they really dont care about their clients trying to budget finances, etc. Just left a bad taste in my mouth as the *** argued nonstop. I did call back and canceled service and also apologized to the employee because even though the company is mismanaged its not that employees fault. I still have a balance of $48.23 and im happy to pay $33,61 for **** garbage service but I think its unfair to ask me to pay for garbage pickup twice on the same garbage!

      On or around 15 September 2024, our trash bins were picked up from Sunshine Disposal out of the ordinary. After contacting the company, we found the tenant that was renting the house had an outstanding collection. They provided the collections information. We had our bins returned the next day, but the collection agency could not release information since it is not in our name. Fast forward to 17 Oct 2024. After already paying OUR OWN bill of around $174.00 for the quarter, Sunshine again sent someone out to take our bins again, now telling us to provide proof that someone rented our house and that we own the house. After my wife called Sunshine, were told no we could not provide that information and again were given the collections. Again, the collections agency said they could not provide information. We were told that we would not get our bins back until the collection was paid. I have no idea when and if that is going to happen and I am NOT paying someone else's bill. We have now paid our own garbage bill for services not being provided. This is unacceptable and should not be happening. Very Respectfully,****** M. *******

      July 5th 2024 Garbage bill for July.Sunshine disposal overcharged our account for our garbage can being overfilled. Picked up boxes that we take to recycling and said the garbage can wad overfull.Caught the incident on our home security cameras.

      Ive had service for 2 years and when I started the service I explained I had my own can and their can in which are the same size. They have picked my cans up no problem. Then this summer they have forgot my can quite often and I have to call each week and spend time on the phone for them to tell me they will look into it and call me back. That call never comes and I then have to call again. Now its been 4 weeks in a row they have skipped me. I called on a Friday and they said they would look into it and call me back. That call again never came. So I call Today to have them tell me they can't pick up my personal can anymore and that I would need to bag anything up and stick it next to there can. I explain this can has been sitting for a week now and I really would prefer to not have to take everything out of this biggest can they have, not to mention I live in a rural area with lots of wildlife. I was told that's not her problem and that's what I would need to do. I asked if they could just make an exception this time since I was never told or made aware of this brand new rule but was yet told in a snarky voice that If I wanted the extras picked up I would need to do so. I explained I just spoke with someone 3 days ago and they never said they couldn't take my can anymore.i said I would like a credit for last week since I was missed and I will not dig out my garbage and Rebag it and was told they don't give credits. I have never missed a payment and yet I get treated poorly.
