1 starMy wife and I ordered a patio covering and signed a contract on 6/29/2024, with Now Remodeling. Initially, all communication was good, with frequent check-ins from the *** as well as the project manager. The *** (**** ****) and the project manager *****, stated that it would be approximately the middle of August 2024, before installation; secondary to having to get the materials from a different state. We have contacted ***** and the sales *** several times over the course of 6 months due to the designated installment date being well overdue. ***** indicated that there had been some delays and that the patio cover would not be installed until September of 2024; this then got pushed out to October. On October 30, 2024, ****** Building contacted us, ***orting that they were ready to install our patio cover; however, approximately 15 minutes later, they called again stating that they were in fact in error and unable to complete the installation due to having the wrong project slotted. The builder ***orted that this was Powers Buildings error not, that of Now Remodeling. However, after that voicemail was received, Now Remodeling has not reached out for a project update, nor has Powers Building. Despite stating that our project was next on the list for installation. My wife and I have attempted to contact the project manager ***** again multiple times throughout November and December 2024, in attempts to gain further knowledge of our project and installation dates/plans. However, each attempt has gone to voicemail, without a return of communication from anyone within Now Remodeling. Some of the worst communication I have had with a company, since moving to the area. I am going to pursue legal counsel and attempt to void the contract that we have signed with Now Remodeling It is frustrating that this company has all of our financial and other personal information, has locked us into a contract, and is now refusing to communicate with us.Review fromMarc K

This is in reference to problems with customer service and management of **********************. I had a represenative go through product line and basically tell me how good thier work and about their great customer service and warranty. General sales information. I signed a contract on approximately 7-6-23 to have work done. Shortly after completion of work some of the siding came down. I called the company several times before I got a return call. One of the first questions asked, was "does the wind blow there?" I thought that was a very stupid question, of course. It was a short time later and some more siding blew off, same routine again call, wait repair. It has happened again, I have called and emailed and still no answer. He did call me but nothing after that. I also informed him that they broke a line under my house and it ruined the floor. I questioned this and I was told that it is something that happens sometime and told they were not responsible for events happening, and if did break it would not have ruined the floor that quick. So I was left with a $9000.00 bill to repair floor and siding coming down owing approximately $34,000 left to pay on the work. I am currently trying to work this out and I am going to sue the company for this. So I don't need your help at this time. I would never recommend this company to do any work of any kind on a home, due to their incompetence and lack of customer service. Yes I am upset and giving them a one star is because you don't let me go lower. The address is different than the one I am writing from as it is one of my rentals.Thank You;****** ***** ********************************************************* (509) ******Now Remodeling LLC

In, our last communication with this customer he stated that he would get us some photos of the siding coming down so that we could get the appropriate materials and people out there to resolve his problem as we no longer work in that area. we have still been waiting on him to send us these and we would be more than willing to come and resolve his issue.Review fromLauren J

1 starI didn't even hire them, but I agreed to a free gutter inspection and when they called to schedule, they insisted that my husband had to be present for the appointment. I asked why and they said it's their "policy". At best: sexist, at worst: creepy. I told them to cancel everything and now months later they are calling me and leaving voicemails about the "project" I started with them. Ridiculous.Review fromBuddy P

1 starDoor knocked my house (newly remodeled) said he is here to inspect my property. He had a City of Boise badge clipped to his shirt. I asked why and he said to see if my home needed any updates. Obviously I don't! I noticed his clip board said, Now Remodeling, so I asked why he was wearing a City of Boise badge if he wasn't with the city. Couldn't give me a straight answer other than he was required to from his management. Seems like a scam trying trick people into thinking he's represented by the City of *****. Not a good look! I reported this to the City.Review fromClaire C

1 starIf I could give a minus 0 I would. If your considering hiring this company I'd highly recommend you don't. I paid over $15,000 for 9 new windows that they sold me with a lifetime ( 25 years) guarantee. They guaranteed me that if dirt got between the panes of glass they would be replaced for free, which is why I was willing to pay so much for the windows. They installed my windows in April of 2021, within 2 years one of my big pictures is full of dirt between the panes of glass, the second one is starting to look like it's got the same issue starting to happen. When I called them to let them know ( summer of last year) they informed me it's been over a year since they did the install so they no longer are responsible for the warranty. I needed to call the company that has my warranty and handle getting the replacement window myself. This was never explained to me at the time of purchase, very misleading. took me months to work everything out with this third party but I finally received my new window. I called NOW Remodeling to let them know I received the new window. They informed me there's usually a charge to replace the window but since it's only been a couple of years and the warranty was honored they'd do it for free when someone was in the area, that was 3 months ago. I've tried calling and have left messages trying to find out what's happening with my window ( since a different window company is holding it for me) and have got no response. I find this to be poor customer service and the whole sells pitch they gave me to be deceiving. If it's going to cost me $500 or more to replace my windows every time they get dirt between the panes I would have went with ********** and saved myself ALOT of money. Also this whole process of replacing the window is taken 10 months and I still haven't gotten it replaced. I'm so unhappy with this company.Review fromNatalie R

1 starIf I can give this company NEGATIVE stars I would. they are Awful owners honestly. They have NO integrity and are outright disrespectful to their employees. Their pay is awful and unjust for how much money they make Per sale. And don't even THINK about trying to look for a new job while you still work for them, they will fire you on the spot and figure out who you're planning on working for and completely BASH on you so the company doesn't reach back out not only that they will try and accuse you of stealing Information.. you call that a good company to work for or do business with?? I don't think so.. I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone. WATCH OUT AND BE AWARE.. The owners of this company are awful self centered people that don't care about anyone but themselves...Review fromLaurie J

5 stars******** windows people wouldn't even talk to us because we have a "Mobile Home". So our search for new windows began with a snub. But despite the bias against us, we got three quotes from other local contractors. Two of the quotes were the actual installers quoting for a cheap brand that you can buy at Lowes, and both of the contractors quoting insisted these were the only option. The NOW Remodeling Universal sent *******, who showed us windows that certainly were not the standard crappy "mobile home" brand (that we were replacing). But they cost far more than than those "standard" windows. Their samples felt and looked far superior to the cheaper windows, and they guaranteed installation before the snow flew. The installer showed up on time, did ********************. Watching him work, it was obvious the windows fit perfectly. He had them all in before dark. He didn't have to pry out the old windows or make a big mess. The old windows, (double paned crappy mobile home brand that rattled and iced and misted up inside) had thin aluminium frames. These Universal windows are triple paned, designed to fit right over the top of the old frames. The other two quotes included hours of "demolition/removal" of the old windows, which brought their quotes for labor higher, although the crappy double paned windows were cheaper. So we went with Universal, and I think we did the right thing as these are sealed tight. Our house is quieter, and we can tell when the north wind howls how weatherproof these are--no rattling or ice inside the house. It's been two polar vortex *******. Last year it hit -20F and this year it got down to -12 F and we were warm, dry, and draught free.Review fromGary & Billie H.

1 starVery disappointed in their ***************** I've called three times and no return call. Purchased $15K worth of windows in 2020, problems still exist. All I want is a return our call or come by our home so we can show them the problem. Product Manager was told about it on the first call, second call I was upset, and the third call was to the *********** and the lady said she'd get our name & number to Brain (Manager). She even updated our cell phone number in the system.
