My children were seen at this clinic by Dr ***** I had to take them out of school for an apointment. A few days after the apointment I went back to get a appointment summery that I was not given at time of check out. The appointment ended around 5pm. When we returned to get it the front desk refused to print it out, made us wait for a manager and discriminated against my family accusing us of trying to falsely obtain a doctors note. The manager finally came to speak with us over an hour later and had the apointment summery for my son and told us they don't give out doctors notes for missed school. After the mistreatment of the front desk staff and the manager, I was trying to reach out to the manager of the valley clinic to take care of their discrimination/unprofessionalism. I was then contacted the "CEO" who was extreamly unprofessional. This women bullied me and was a complete abuse of power. She hung up on me when I tried to defend myself. She then sent me a letter in the mail to sign n return to the clinic stating that "I tust them, that they are professional and that I wouldn't recoding in the building and could not return unill i did so". We never missed an apointment and I was just trying to get a summary of an apointment we had. I did not sign the paper and have been seeing a regular optometrist for my boys for the last year. My boys have a rare genetic eye condition called retinitus pigmentosa and they need to see an ophthalmologist. After their well child check up with the current eye doctor they said my boys need to see an ophthalmologist and that they would put in a referral for the Spokane Eye Clinic ************** The referral cane back denied to the pediatrician with the statement "client denied". My children are being refused care for their disease because of some ***** power tripping. We always were on time to apontments, never missed one n my boys need the equipment they have at their clinics to appropriately diagnose their eye prescription.

I am rejecting this response because: I am fine with discussing the health information on the BBB website publicly. Contacting you privately only allows me to be bullied further. I'm wanting to know why my children were rejected as clients at the spokane eye clinic in the valley, why there was no resolution to the discrimination and unprofessional behavior of the front desk staff/front desk manager, of the Spokane Eye Clinic downtown office and why the CEO reached out to me to bully me when I was seeking to file a complaint on the above mentioned front desk staff/front desk manager. We never missed appointments with doctor weed and my children have a rare eye condition that is causing them to loose their sight slowly over time (retinitus pigmentosa) and we are looking to have an eye doc at the spokane eye clinic valley office to appropriately diagnose their challenging prescription changes every 6 months to a year and look into better options for their eye health. I tried to handle this over the phone and was bullied/treated like a child/ threatened and would like the BBBs help in getting an appropriate resolution/response so people can see how your company may be abusing power and leaving children without appropriate medical treatment for their eyes when they have a serious/rare medical condition and are needing the equipment at the spokane eye clinic. Its too often speciality doctors leave clients bullied and abused due to arrogance and miss treatment and I am doing what I can to have an appropriate conversation,  that has the best intentions for my children who do not deserve to be rejected as clients because of the Spokane Eye clinics employees and CEO's misstreatment/abuse of power.

      Sincerely,

My Mother, ******************************* has spent her entire 99th year without her glasses. Spokane Eye Clinic has refused to repair or replace her glasses. The eye clinic cancelled an appointment several months ago. She had an appointment on May 9th of this year. she had to pay for transportation from St. ****** Care Center to the eye clinic and back. They did a routine exam and sent her back. Nothing said or done about her glasses. I called the eye clinic from the other side of the state and they would not tell me anything because I was not listed for them to do so. I explained that they didn't need to tell me anything. All they had to do was read her chart and provide her with glasses. Nothing. St. ******** called the eye clinic and between my contacting them again and St. ******, they scheduled another appointment. They told me she would have her glasses by her 100th birthday. 6/12/2023. She had her appointment yesterday at a different location. Still no glasses. I have reported the Spokane Eye Clinic to **************** Services. I believe their actions is abuse of an elderly invalid. They are now charging her $300 for doing virtually nothing, and she STILL doesn't have her glasses. It would seem obvious that they are waiting for her to die to get out of finishing their committment.
