      The first time I came here my sister referred me and the girl marked that referral down and my sister didnt get the referral money that is advertised I recently referred a friend and the same thing happened to me we told them as soon as we got there she also mentioned it multiple times to employees and they said she had to show the referral at registration which is confusing because there is multiple steps to donating and we dont know all the names to them we told them right away when we got there I talked to the manager and he said theres nothing he can do about it whats the point of having people refer just to not get that money and you get new donars ? Seems scammy I just want the money that was advertised to me because I referred my friend and got nothing!

      After investigation into the donors claims and her donor profile, Octapharma's IT Service Desk team determined that a referral code was not generated by this donor. Portland Octapharma staff are trained to ask donors regarding referral codes at the time of new donor registration. If a donor fails to provide a referral code during the new donor registration, the new donors referrer would not be able receive the referral bonus. Due to the referral code not being generated at the time of registration Octapharma Portland is not obligated to pay a referral bonus.

      The employee came to me and asked if I use street drugs.

      02/20/2024 I went into Octapharma with good energy expecting to donate. In front of me was a Latino man who got denied becoming a new donor because their words we dont speak Spanish here . That & no workers of color should of been my red flags & just the energy given every time. Well during my turn an employee approaches & says ****** boy & etc. basically speaking to me In a way he think fits the color of my skin. At this point I decided to record for proof of anything crazy. I never said the * word which after I asked to speak with management after I told him i dont appreciate the way hes speaking. He agrees and proceeds to go to her & instead of telling the truth he tells her I called him a n***** mind you he is white I am black. They are using the ** at that loud and proudly as well but as he says that she brings me to a private room(manager) & decides to defer me for life over a situation I have video proof with instead of asking to see my video she threatens to call the police so I proceed to leave then here comes a verbally insulting security with a gun following me out for no reason. All this because I asked a employee if someone else can help me because I didnt like his demeanor and everything about his racist antics. Also was told I will be deferred from ALL plasma spots for no reason whats so ever. This establishment is very not friendly and racist. Since its private owned I was told on camera proof as well the police nobody can do anything about it. It wont let me post the video on here but I posted pictures of images attorney will see the video during further proceedings

      Upon review of comments placed by Center Staff from this interaction as well as speaking with the Center Director, the Donor's account is much different than what Center Staff stated as well as ****************** The ******** center does not offer the Spanish speaking option, as there are no current staff that are able to speak Spanish through the entire process. Due to threats of violence and aggressive racial comments, the Donor was permanently deferred.
