      I had a procedure done Washington gastroenterology And received two bills. These two bills have the same account number and same addresses for the billing. I have been making payments towards this account. Then I called to reschedule an appointment and they told me they couldnt reschedule me due to a billing issue. Ive called the billing department several times and never got a callback. Finally, I received a call back and she informed me that it was two separate bills. It is confusing because they have the same account number. But part of my bill was sent to collections. Even though I was making payments to that account number. I tried to call back after she couldnt hear me on the phone. No one has returned my phone call. This is unfair practice to send it to collections of a making payments to the account number that was provided.

      On 12/19/24 I received a colonoscopy at **** administered by Dr. ******* *****. Following the procedure was told it was normal, provided pictures & told that I would receive a follow up call next day. I did not receive follow up call at all. I experienced ongoing pain and what appears to be a hemorrhaged or ulcerative prolapsed hemorrhoid. I have made follow up calls and talked to a triage nurse on 12/27 and was told I would receive a call from provider, called back on 12/30 and was told I would get a call back from my provider, called back on 12/31/24 and talked with a triage nurse (*****- the same one from the week before) and was told I would receive a call back from a provider and continue to wait. I do have pictures but likely not appropriate for upload. I realize my procedure was near a holiday but was also told they do 18 per day per provider of which there are three and feel they should have providers available for complications when they arise and not just ignore them.

      I was double charged for the same service by Washington GI. I was told I needed to give it up to three weeks to receive a refund. I waited, and never received my refund. It has been almost impossible to get ahold of the billing department. I was told after waiting the three weeks that the matter would be resubmitted and I would get my refund. I asked for a phone call to confirm that my refund has been processed, but the customer service agent basically said there was nothing she could do, and that Id be refunded. I felt so taken care of by ****** initially, but I wont return for this reason. Additionally, I was told I overpaid on the endoscopy portion of my bill, but I will need to wait for insurance to go through everything to get my money back.
