  First off, I would like to say I 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! This place is the biggest rip off that I have encountered in a long time. Sadly, I lost $600 to this company for diagnosing things that should have been diagnosed in 5 minutes. The first problem we had was trouble getting our jacks down. They wouldnt go down, but this was a separate issue we didnt know about until we got there. Genesis charged us 1.5 hours of time to figure out how to just reset the system literally 2 buttons. But they charged us $300 for figuring this out why did it take them 1.5 hours to figure out just to reset the system? I didnt realize this was going to be an issue in the first place.The reason we came here was a warranty on our fifth wheel for our awning motor and needed to be replaced which we already knew I told my husband just take it somewhere and have warranty take care of it. So, we called around and found this place thinking that they had the best reviews compared to other places and they accepted our warranty. This was supposed to cost us a $100 deductible and be an easy fix. My question is why this was going to cost a little over $1700 ($300 non warranty) and our warranty will pay a national average price which is about $700. Literally they wanted us to pay $1700 to replace a motor, diagnosis, and the resetting the system (which again was pushing of 2 buttons together). They wanted to charge us 2 hours of work plus an hour for diagnosing the problem which is like $700 on its own. This place overcharges everything even for the parts. I have never seen such a bad practice in my life. This is the kicker! I literally just bought a motor replacement off amazon for $36 plus tax and replaced the motor within 30 minutes. If we wanted to buy the whole housing unit for the motor and replace it through the actual dealer for the awning it would have cost us $350 bucks but genesis was charging us $800 plus tax for just the motor.

  This customer left the same if not similar complaint on Yelp. I am not sure who it is since ******* have pseudonyms. I would really like to get the customers name and look up the information and I would like to look into having a mediated conversation to try to fully understand their position and have the opportunity to look into their claims. The yelp review came in late this afternoon and I intended to begin looking into opening a dialogue with this customer. Is this something ******************** can facilitate?

  Last June ***** having my generator tuned up by a small engine mechanic, he would start and run with no problem. When I turn my air conditioners on, they would also start and run with no problem but after about 15 minutes they would shut off. When my air conditioner was plugged in the shore power, it would run constantly with no issues . I initially thought the issue was my generator so I took it into ******** northwest, the Onan factory repair facility in *******. Waited 3 months to get in and after they had my unit for a day they told me that there was nothing wrong with the generator that the issue was my air conditioner. Contacted ******************************** to look at the 4 year old air conditioner and had to wait until this April for an appointment. They had my unit for over a week and when I picked it up, they told me that the issue was my air conditioner was too big and that I needed to downsize the unit. ***** spending days troubleshooting I knew the issue was the generator, but there was no way I was going to take it back to ******** Northwest. Hey, search ****** for an RV repair shop and found Genesis after reading the reviews I made an appointment they got me in within three day and I made the trip from Marysville to Tacoma. They were upfront with me as to what the diagnostic charges would be and after having my coach for a couple of days called me and said the issue was fixed. I went down and picked it up. There was no additional charges and my generator has worked perfectly since I left there.

  Ive had my class-a RV for 20 years. Have more than 80k miles and Im the only driver. Have had service and repairs done at many places over the years. Theyre all expensive, but theyre not all good. I now have my service/repairs done at Genesis. They tell me what needs to be done, but I get to decide what is done based on cost. Some things need done now, some can wait. I get to choose. Their service has been great. Their service personnel are friendly and easy to work with, and always takes time to explain whats going on. My old RV has new life.

  Poor business practice in my opinion. Before est would be done needed to sign a form for an estimate ****** for est + 6,84 shop supplies and ***** for environmental fees.After tax $477.03. Is that normal business practice.*** just getting started.
