      We used this company for a rental property. 1st of all my current landlord stated that they did not receive a questionnaire for me. It was only for my husband and daughter. Nor did they verify my employment. My daughter said her supervisor stated they didn't believe she was at her current job for almost 8 years because "she only 22, that's impossible." The landlord of the rental contacted me at said we were approved and good to sign the lease. About 2 hours later, she said she was advised not to rent to us after all. I asked her why, she said I needed to reach out to sound screening. How can you get the go ahead, then go back on your words.

      This company is a SCAM and not only them but the landlord working with them as well. One of them *******************. They are screening people on not available units. It might be the scam scheme between the agency and the landlord. Collecting the highest application fees in ****** area then giving you some silly reason that it is normal (in their book) that people apply to many places and then choose one and leave them money .. Seriously? The rent everywhere is high enough to pay many application fees for nothing. They have no legal rights to process applications one the unit that already has one application accepted. As simple as that. All large companies before taking your application to process inform you that there are pending applications and the unit might not be available. Additionally the landlord won't give you the written conditions on the fees that are required by the law in **. STAY away from either the sound screening services or the landlords working with them.
