      Ordered a rod in November of 2023. After months of follow up, I finally god my rod in July of 2024 but it didnt include the rod tube or the felt holding cloth. They eventually sent me the cloth but as of 5/13/2025 I still have not gotten the tube. Separately I took the rod out in fall of 2024 and within the first 5 casts, it snapped in 3 sections. It wasnt even hooked when it happened, just on a cast. It was under warranty and sent in that month and still has not been returned. I keep getting the run around from ***** and *** on the customer warranty department. Never had a worse experience with a company. Theyve had my rod in possession longer than I have and i purchased it close to two years ago.

      Similar experience as the rest of the respondents in 2025. Can't muster even 1-star for this company. How is it possible they remain in business with their arrogant attitude and extremely poor service? Consumers need to smarten up and see this is one of the worst business operations anyone could come across.

      This company promised delivery of a 600$ fishing rod in 8-12 weeks. After 12 weeks of no delivery I tried to contact customer service via email 4 times over the course of a month with no response. When I asked why customer service was not responding and requested a refund I was told my order "might" be ready at 24 months, more than double the original promise. I said this was unacceptable and the CEO **** ****** sent me a nasty email in a very condescending tone. Zero accountability or empathy for this terrible customer experience. He spoke down to me in several different ways. In his email he was combative, condescending and unbelievably *****. Big ego for a guy living off **** ****** name. I had to request a refund 3 times before my money was finally released to me after 19 weeks and nothing to show for it. It's my understanding this is the average customer experience, if this experience was unique to me I'm sure it would have been handled differently.I would be embarrassed to be associated with NFC, edge rods, ******* rods, or **** ****** professionally. Take your money literally anywhere else.

      Ive never dealt with such a terrible company in my life. As a professional in the industry, I take customer service, professionalism and the quality of a product seriously. I have had numerous issues with edge rods. In 2023 I ordered a fly rod that shipped farely quickly. It was one of the best rods Ive ever used. Shortly after I ordered 2 more of the same rod and all of them feel completely different. The one I loved was a fast action and one was a very slow action and had an unusual amount of bend in one of the sections. I tried reaching out about an exchange and was left with no response. This was after I made an order of 2 more rods, a 10wt and an 8wt. The 10wt took 8 months to ship in. Keep in mind I never have received my rod tube from the rods I ordered almost 2 years ago. So I finally decided to write a bad review. That night I check my email and received a threatening email that they had written a bad review of who I work for until I deleted my review of edge rods. The way they handled that situation was despicable and they should be out of business. Im still waiting on refunds for my rods that they canceled. I hope they make things right but I feel like their ego is too big to own up to their mistakes. Whatever you do, DONT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS.

      I ordered 5 fly *** ****** in November of 2024 and at the time their website was advertising 2-3 week lead times. I started calling once a month in January and was initially told the blanks were still in production. In the months following I would just get told they would send an email to the blank manager asking for an update. And so far this month (April 2025) they have yet to answer any of my phone calls or return any of my messages. Their website still advertised 2-3 week lead times but I have been waiting for an order that I paid for over 4 months ago. I would not recommend ordering from this company.

      Ordered two Fly Fishing Rods and received them, but rod tubes were to be included as part of the sale. They told me that the rod tubes were back ordered and would be shipped in soon.I called every 2 months inquiring about them and they answered the email saying they are still back ordered. Now the last 3 months they are not answering my phone calls or emails.I am really disappointed-**** ******

      All 5 of my Edge rods are some of the finest fishing poles I've ever laid my hands on. I was aware of the the long lead times when I ordered on sale items. They also showed on their website that some parts were on backorder which would lead to longer lead times. Edge provided quick responses to the few emails I sent. I would buy from Edge Rods again.

      The customer service is not only poor in timing, but I found that **** was rude and condescending. The people at NFC don't know how to treat customers.I cancelled my order and will never use them. There are plenty of reputable blank dealers that treat customers with respect.

      I ordered a rod sept 23rd paid for it and was told 3 weeks delivery Mid October with no communication after many sent emails i called. They said reel seats were backordered and just come in They said take about a week to ship. 2 weeks later after many more emails with no response i called again. Was told exact same story. Almost 2 weeks gone again i called again. They wouldnt answer my cell so i called from office and they answered immediately and again same story. Reel seats just came in and should be ready to ship in a week. I asked for a manager and was told no one available. Was given enail to ********************* ceo. I emailed and email was rejected. I have never been treated so rudely. I own 6 gloomis rods and have been so excited but now wonder if i will wver get my rod. Not to mention the $380 wasted on something I probably wont recieve Saddens me to see such service from a great rod legacy. Order #***** still out there somewhere

      I purchased a finished rod from NFC's brand, Edge Rods. The purchase was made in November 2022 with a 3 - 5 week delivery window. I reached out to the company in early January, thinking my order may have gotten missed with the holiday rush, I was told that it was "in production" and would have someone reach out to me to provide an update in the next day. I waited a week and never heard back. I called again and was told to email their shop manager, which I did, and heard nothing for another week. I finally heard from them and was told, there was a delay in materials and that it would be another 2 - 3 weeks. I was okay with that, considering I'm in *********** and am not fishing for another few months.After that second 2 - 3 week window passed and I had nothing, I reached back out, after 4 - 5 attempts (Emailing their CEO ****, their VP of Sales, and other's in the company), I finally heard back from their shop manager and she said it was going to be another 2 - 3 weeks before I would have the product, I paid for.I would highly recommend saving your money for 6 months (because apparently thats how long it takes to receive your items from them) and buy from a more reputable and higher-end company. Once my order was cancelled, I ordered from their direct competitor (**************) and had my rod in 3 business days... Stay clear of these guys until they get rid of their CEO
