Ordered fly rod that included a tube. *** reached out to manufacturer/retailer multiple times and was told when they get more in, youll get one. That conversation took place last August or September. Ive tried to get in contact since then including leaving messages without a return. I purchased this fishing rod 5+ months ago preparing for the upcoming season. The company advertises that you may wait 3-4 months which is okay! After waiting 5 months I started trying to get ahold of the company without any success. No call back, no email, nobody picks up at this company. My order was cancelled and I filed a dispute with my credit card and theyve yet to take any action in correcting the issue. I do not recommend purchasing anything from this company.Initial Complaint

I ordered two fly rods from the company, and was informed by them that they were out of stock for the aluminum rod tubes that they were supposed to be stored in. I have attempted to reach out to them numerous times by emails, and phone calls, only to get no response. I have had problems with slow shipping in the past, but one of these rods was purchased in December 2023, and still havent received the tubes.Initial Complaint

I had ordered a fishing rod from this company, decided to cancel the order and purchase a different rod from this company. I contacted customer service to cancel they told me it would be 60 days to get a refund. On 10/22/2024 placed an order #***** which included a free hat. When I received the charge the hat wasnt free but $25.00. Requested a refund by email and it was submitted to the person in charge of that. Additionally my wife purchased an order # ****** for an Advanced Rod Building seminar in ********** for $1000 to be in May *****. Unfortunately we had some unexpected financial issues and I had to cancel . Sent an email on 4/8 and was told it was canceled and the refund would be issued . Now I cannot get anyone from the company to respond tried multiple emails from known employees but no responses. So at this point I am owed $1025 and cant get any responseCustomer Answer

Ordered a fly rod March 2, 2025 for the sum of $455. It is now May 12, 2025 and repeated attempts to phone, voicemail and e-mail have gone unanswered. This place appears to be a scam or they have a horrendous business model with little interest in the customer. They have no problem taking your money but dont deliver a product. I ordered a fly rod from the company more than 2 years ago, was promised the rod and tube and certificate. After waiting many months the rod was finally delivered. The certificate came a year later. The tube has still not come. I have called 4 times and been told they are still waiting on the tubes to be delivered. Yet the still offer these fly poles with tubes. *** recently made a purchase from edge rods for around $400 Then after receiving another order and having the quality be not up to standard I asked for a refund. They did respond saying that I would receive it and that was months ago and now they won't respond to emails and or calls. I ordered a fly fishing rod through Edge Rods on 09/14/2024. I was told to wait to wait 3-5 weeks for the rod to be built and set out. When I reached out in late October, I discovered that the rod would not be completed for several more weeks or perhaps months. I requested a refund for the rod upon hearing this information. I was told that my order would be refunded within ***** days. I canceled my order on 10/24/2024 I have yet to received a refund and have tried to contact the business but have had no success. Purchased in stock fly rods for ******. Lead time was quoted 3-4 weeks. After 3 months I requested a refund. They cancled my order and never sent me the refund. Calls and emails have been ignored. Once the order was cancled they kept the money and the products.I am fly fishing guide and custom rod builder. Small business owner out ****** from this compnay.
