      Stay away from this location, ***** and *********. The owner only wants your money! I have been a member of this location since it opened over 15 years (Now new owners). I have paid additional for the tanning. I started using a different location since it is closer to my work. Because of this my membership was automatically transferred without giving me a chance to object to this. They have Zero customer service. The new facility does not have tanning, so I have been paying extra for nothing!! I found out the hard way when I tried using the tanning bed. I called and spoke to the manager who was an absolute A**** and said it was a corporate issue. He suggested I cancel my membership and then sign up again with them with no contract. By doing so, I would be charged ***** bi-weekly. I currently pay ***** a month. Needless to say, I will be cancelling my membership!

      This person is not a member of  and of our clubs.  She has been transferred out and that is why her tanning does not work, tanning is not recprical.  I have already spoken to her through email and offered to request to transfer her back in so that she could use tanning.

      I am the original owner, and have been since March 12 of 2007, this is a false and bogus complaint, and they do not even pay us, they are a member of a totally different facility.  This person is not even a customer of ours.

      This is NOT a bogus or false complaint. I am no longer a member because I was automatically transferred to another location. I tried speaking to the manager at this location and he basically brushed me off. Said there was nothing they could do and that I now needed to speak to the other gym since I no longer belonged to their gym.When I signed up 15 years ago, I singed an automatic bank withdraw allowing them to take the monthly premium. There weren't any other gym locations, so this policy did not apply. Apparently, I signed the agreement with the ANYTIME franchise which allows any owner/location to withdraw the membership when you automatically get transferred without your consent or even a notice. As I stated to the owner of this gym, as members we do not know the policy/procedures that he has agreed to with the franchise and maybe this is an issue he needs to address with the franchise. I signed up because of what this gym offered. I should NOT be transferred without some kind of notice. He has offered to have my membership transferred back, but at this point I have decided to cancel all together. This has been nothing short of a pain in the neck. I have membership in other clubs but have kept this for tanning convenience, so it is not a necessity to be a member where I am just a number.

      We have explained this at nauseum.   Chela has not been charged by our club since September.  In order for a club to request a transfer in, that members must be using their facility for 80% of the time for a period of at least 30 days, this has always been the policy.  I operate and own multiple clubs and I am constantly transferring between my clubs to enhance the members experience by them having their home club the one they are visiting.  How fair would it be if a member moved to say ******* France, was using the Anytime Fitness there and then still paying the owner in Yakima?  How convenient would that be for the member to have to contact Yakima from ****** to make any account changes?  ***** is upset at us, and we have ZERO to do with her choice of clubs, or the other club initiating a transfer.


      I am requesting that this complaint be removed from my profile, as again, this is not even a member, she does not pay us, she does not use our facility.  And to say the Owner only cares about money, I am not the one that transferred her.  Her tanning did not work because she was using a different club most of the time and was transferred out. Her membership dues were also roughly 20% lower than standard without tanning / and she had tanning.


      I even asked if giving her free tanning and asking the other club to release her back to us would help, she declined that offer.  Again, this is not a money grab, but ***** is impossible to please and lacks the understanding to come to a positive resolution.  This is unfortunately a case of the customer being wrong, and throwing a fit.


      There is nothing in the world that we could have done differently, and ultimately, I can't even cancel her membership, as she is not a member of ours.  I don't even know where her home club is now.


      This is ridiculous and I am sick of the slander simply for her lack of understanding.  Nobody did anything to her; she just uses a different club.
