    8/19 I bought a game called Thymesia. The game was *****. I played for almost 4 hours and remained stuck at the same part. Point blank the game is too difficult. Steam's refund policy is unfair. It says that if you play a game longer than 2 hours they will not give a refund. I deleted the game.

    I preordered a steam deck (game console) they contacted me july 28 and informed me preorder was ready and i had to pay remainder of bill which i did with a discover card. I received a message that i would receive it by aug 3rd, during its delivery by ***** it was delayed several days, while watching the tracking the day it was supposedly delivered i was home. I never received it . I believe it was stolen by the ***** driver. (because he lied stated delivered when it wasn't) So i reported this to steam and requested a refund, they would not refund my card, they only offered to refund it to my game account. (why would i want $700 in a game account) So i reversed the charge with discover. Now valve has restricted my account . This was all their fault, why would you ship a $700 piece of equipment without having sign on receipt delivery service.

    Valve charged me ******************* sales tax on a purchase that I made on 8/15/2022. ************* had a sales tax holiday on 8/14/2022 - 8/15/2022 and it was illegal for any company to charge sales tax on exempt items. The game I purchased was exempt from ************* sales tax. I informed Valve of this issue and they refused to refund me the sales tax. I insist on a refund. Valve must comply with the law.

    I am constantly getting issues with pop up errors that prevent me from being able to install or play games that I paid for! One game in particular I just paid for and now because of these errors, can not even install. I don't know what kind of bs security these people use either, but its has become a DAILY issue where I get an email from 2 factor authentication asking me to verify a log in attempt from completely different countries! I am to the point of NEVER doing business with this provider again and will purchase my games directly from developers from now on!

    Hello, I have lost access to my steam account tied to my current email on this complaint. I bought a new phone with a new carrier that gave me a new number. I traded in my phone to get access to a new phone. I no longer have my old phone that has the authenticator app on it nor do I have access to my old number. I have tried twice with steams support to get my account issues resolved. Each time taking days to get a response. They want me to give them the very first email I used over 9 years or so ago. I explained that I do not remember it and that it is most likely have been closed years ago with ******* Even if I somehow remembered it ****** would not allow me to recover the email account since so much time has elapsed and will not be recovered. I have given my Credit card numbers used on the account. My past numbers that was used on the account. I have given several emails that I've used on the account in the past. I have given a game key that was added to the account recently. I offered to give them a copy of my driver's license, a utility bill, a bank statement with steam charges that was done recently. I offered so much personal information to support but yet they was still stuck on a email scripted replay saying they can not help me unless I can remember the first email used on the account. I don't have that good of a memory of that far back in the past. I have spent so much money buying games, CSGO keys for cases and weapons over the years. You can literally call the current number on my steam account and it will says it's been discontinued. I have offered so much of my personal information that only I can have access to. All my Credit cards, previous old numbers used on account. Most recent 3 emails used on account possible more if you want my list of 40 plus emails I used in my life time that I started to track down through my old documents that I could find. I offered many transaction receipt # from all the stuff I bought over time with my account

    I made an unwanted purchase post surgical procedure where I had been put under.I never played the game, didn't install the game, and asked for a refund right away. Per the refund policy I was entitled to a refund. I made the request and got one of the sorriest excuses of a customer service representative possible. I did get a refund in the end but he ended up falsely flagging my PayPal account making it so even 7 years after his ***** stupidity they still won't let me use it. I've had my steam account compromised 3 times over the years so I do not want to leave a card directly on file. Dealing with them being dumb about this is annoying and all they do when a ticket is made is lie about saying there is no way to undo their ***** nonsense without offering up a single apology.

    Dear Support Team,Back in April 2019 I received some gifts containing games on my Steam account and I was surprised, but shortly afterwards my account was restricted with the message "This account appears to have been used for fraudulent activity. Steam Support has flagged your account as potentially having been used for fraudulent activities. Please contact Steam Support so that we can assist you.". I've contacted them by e-mail several times because they don't seem to offer phone support and each time I get a negative response and on top of all that they won't tell me why my account was restricted.I want to mention that I have around **** euros spent on this account and also 3 days before my account was restricted I added 52,22 euros to it.I also want to describe that I used my credit card and my mother's credit card with her permission to add ***** to my account (to mention, with her permission).Thank you and have a nice day!

    Valve (Steam) has a policy that will not allow software to be refunded if the time played is 2.0 hours or greater. The issue is one of my accounts was hacked, and a game with 2.3 hours of play time was somehow able to get refunded and then the money was then was to purchase worthless packs in the market place. Valve (Steam) has refused to answer the question as to why a 2.3 hour game was able to be refunded and they keep closing tickets with out answering the question nor returning the product to the account.

    I made the HUGE mistake of purchasing a game- Steam, stormworks, my children were asking for either this past Friday or Saturday... We never could get the game to play.. We tried on both an ipad, which is really where we wanted it and nothing.. We then tried to access the game with the other sons laptop. again it would not work.. We called a friend over who is more techno then we are and even they could not get it working.. They got the game to load it's main screen and it would stop and go no further and after so many minutes would close down. We have not been able to pay it at all. I requested a refund and I was denied because they "claim" we played the game over two hours. This is a lie and we can not get the game to load, how can we play we play this silly game when we can not access it.. I sent in another request and was told it did not fit the requirement because again we played with for over two hours, lie, and the request had to be sent in within 14 days.. I bought 2-3 days ago and sent in my request for refund in probably less than 48 hours.. I do not appreciate being scammed by these people and would like a full refund. I paid for a product that does not work.

    I was fully Hacked and they got through Steam authenticator and stole 3000$ USD worth of online items. Through their lack of oversite and care due to they make money either way scam or not. I never received emails stating that there was a attack on my account and steam lacked the care or systems to help me. I am requesting Steam address these issues plaguing its community and causing Hundred of million dollars being hacked or scammed across their platform. I was Targeted and hacked and report Botted and never got a email notifying of unusual activity!
