      Ordered closet online , had delivered. Set up appointment through Ashley’s either a handyman to come set up closet. When handy man from Ashley’s opened boxes , pieces had been missing and also broken. After researching and reading reviews it seems to be a common problem when ordering any type of furniture or closets from this company. Hate to say this but new it would be to good to be true to have a closet delivered and installed. Installation was only supposed to take 1 hour. Took handy man multiple hours.

      We just bought a house and we're so excited. We got new furniture from Ashley. The set us up for a delivery. The got there and only had half of our stuff. The said they would be back the next week with the rest. We canceled our family plans just for them to confirm via email and text and not show up. We called again and got set up for a 3rd delivery date only for the same thing to happen again. We then got set up for a 4th, 5th, and 6th delivery just for them not to show up. I called their customer service each time being assured that they would be at the next. Last Saturday they were going to be there. Yet again a no show. I called their customer service and explained my frustration and asked for a supervisor. Each time I called which was 6 time I gor hung up on. The 7th call I got the store and they told me that the never knew it was a delivery (even though they delivered a partial order) I asked why that was and was put on hold. They said that it was changed in the system and it will be delivered. No sorry for ypu having to change plans so many times. No sorry for the delivery mix up. No sorry that you have been waiting since April 16th for this. Just we sent emails saying it will be delivered and the times they will be there but, ypu should have know ypu had to pick it up at the Warehouse because it is a delivery email we send regardless of pick up or delivery. I again advised that it was always to be delivered, set up, and put where we wanted it. This has been the worst experience! As a former customer service escalations agent I am horrified on how this was handled. I have no idea how they are still open and doing business!

      We ordered dining room set (Table and 4 chairs) back in November of 2021 and received the chairs in about 5 months. We still have not received the table and even once the company has reached out to update us and every time I did the delivery date was pushed a month or two each time. After I've waited for over 10 months I started to consider just returning the chair and cancelling. They are wanting us to pay for the return shipment and now saying they don't even have the table in stock and not know when it will be.

      I try my best to see the silver lining in every aspect of life. I sure hope this review helps someone from getting as frustrated and disappointed as me. I bought a reasonably expensive outdoor furniture set from Ashley. Huge mistake. I never thought to read the labels on the cushions. Why? I thought.. It's outdoor furniture. Surely you can wash the cushion covers when they get dirty.. Nope!! The care tag says spot clean only. Don't machine wash or machine dry or iron or dry clean. Spot clean only!! This tells me two things. I got myself ripped off by not reading their labels and they use substandard materials and upcharge the bejesus out of them. I'll know much better next time and will consider Ashley Furniture as my last choice and not my first. Do your homework before trusting this company.

      I do not aleays have a plesant experience with Ashley Homestore no matter the location, but I have had the opportunity to meet a very great salesman who knows his stuff might I add, Mr. James in Columbus Ga Ashley. He is always plesant to work with and his knowledge always assist me and my family with finding the right piece of quality furniture! I cant say enough great things about Mr James. If you are ever in need of furniture go see him, tell him I sent ya!

      We ordered a wooden storage bench from Ashley. It is such low quality that even our 5-year-old daughter cannot sit on it without it breaking. After about 10 months of back and forth with Ashley of trying to get this fixed, their end result was that it is meant to be a "decorative piece only; why should we expect to be able to sit on this bench?" They said it is not meant to be used as a bench...even though it is labeled as a bench. When we purchased it, the Ashley associate told us that we could comfortably seat three adults on this bench. However, the customer service representative said since we have no proof that the associate told us this they will do nothing. There's nothing in the description of the bench or the paperwork of this bench that says "not for seating, simply for storage." It is not labeled as such and I think it is completely underhanded for Ashley to to have furniture that does not serve the purpose of that type of furniture without it being clearly labeled as so. We are now in possession of a $700 shoe box rather than a bench.

      I would also give Ashley Furniture no stars if I could. Out of all the 1-800 numbers I have dealt with, their customer service is the worst! We have been trying for over 3 months to have our brand new couch that was torn during set-up (by their company) fixed. We have had 3 different times where we have been stood up by Ashley Furniture even though we had scheduled appointments. This company does not have their **** together, and I would highly advise not buying furniture from them. It is too bad they have such awful customer service because the furniture is decent.

      If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Not only does it take a forever for the furniture to become available, scheduling a delivery is an act of Congress. I recieved a notification that a part of my order was available for delivery and if I would like they would be able to deliver on Saturday. They would notify me 2 days prior and give me a 3 hour window for delivery. Perfect. I accepted. I recieve a notificatiom 2 days prior that my window is between 9-12. Again, fine. I get a call at 11:00 on Saturday ( durning my window) that they will need to reschedule my delivery for a different day. They suggested Monday. I tell them that I am working and am not able to make myself available Monday. They counter offer a delivery during the same window for the next day (Sunday). Begrudgingly, I accept. It is now 2:00 on Sunday and I still do not have my furniture. I called and spoke to someone, who stated that there was a note put in an hour prior to my call, that it was moved to Monday. I have called and spoke to everyone they have transferred me to with no understanding of what happened or what can be done unless I can make myself available Monday, or pick it up myself on Tuesday. What? To state that I am extremely dissatisfied with the lack of communication, customer service, or consideration of other people's time, is an understatement. Save your time, money, and sanity. Go look elsewhere.
