  Rock County just built our beautiful round rail fence The crew sent to our home, had clearly done this many times before. Watching them create the fence was fascinating. They worked tirelessly in extreme heat. We think the fence they built for us, is wonderful. They cleaned up each night and left nothing around that our dog could pick up . Great job Rock County..

  Poor communication and always excuses. We are taking them to small claims court to get our deposit back. If I could leave a negative star rating I would.

  Last spring I unfortunately hired Josh to replace our deck and add on a screen porch. This process was a complete mess. Not only did it take all summer to complete, I have a leaky porch that they have not resolved. Do not use this company for anything.

  After a year of hoping that this company would get their act together, I am done. We were told last year that if we paid in full (20k), that we would have our fence completed the following month. This would have been July of 2023. July came and went, and finally in October, the posts went in. Not until the end of February/beginning of March did the fence panels go in and it has been nothing but problems since. The fence is cracked, falling apart and crooked. The wrong latches were placed and remains incorrectly placed. Multiple calls/texts have been made to the company and not a soul has been out to fix it. The fence rattles so bad in the wind, it almost topples over. It is so disheartening, as we are just a normal family who want a fenced in yard for our daughter and puppy to play in. We are real people, a normal family who have saved money and trusted this company for a quality fence and have been taken advantage of. I do hope that something changes, as we just want to be done with this fence and never have to deal with this again. I am sorry to those that have been treated in a similar way.

  Terrible experience. Promises unkept and ended up having to contract with another business, ended up being cheaper. Worked with them four years ago and they were pretty good. Will never do so again, $4000 deposit in their pocket. Awaiting legal recourse at this point. Very consistent with other reviews on here.

  Josh came out to my house and did measurements for a fence in my back yard on 5/31/23. On 6/9/23 I put 50% down towards the fence and was told I was about 2 months out for installation. It is now 11/9/23, 5 months later and I still do not have a fence. I have made numerous calls and they are unreturned. I was told when Diggers Hotline comes to mark things expect us soon after they have been there. That was three weeks ago and still another unreturned call and no fence.Will I ever get a fence?

  We paid in full in advance on September 9, 2022 to have our deck constructed in fall of 2022. In October, we were contacted and offered to move to "First thing in the spring" of 2023 due to impending winter weather. Not seeing the sense of having a new deck go through a Wisconsin winter, we accepted the offer. It is now July 31 and we still have no deck, even though they tore our old one off weeks ago. Communication is poor. No promises have been kept as to when the project will happen or move forward. We began contacting this company in April since "First thing in spring" had passed. Our phone contacts took place every 2-3 days. It took until June 6 for them to even visit our property, at which time they tore off our old (but useable) deck. I had to finish removing the portion attached to the house in order to have a siding company fix siding, which I did June 10 since they had not come back. On June 22 the framing was installed. July 14, the deck floor was installed. July 25th, the stairs were incorrectly installed as per the contract. We were then told the railing materials were damaged and they'd reorder them. The last contact promised completion by the end of the week of July 31. As of this writing, there is still no one at the house. This has been a horrible experience filled with excuses, lies and delays. We will not use or recommend this company.

  I am so frustrated with this company. I paid money to have my fence and deck put in last year, which did not happen. There has been poor communication the whole time and lots of me calling without any response. While they were accompanying with a change I wanted to the fence, Josh did not bother to share that change with the man installing the fence. This has been so frustrating! I still have demolition trash in my yard and trash from the workers mixed into the pile. No communication on when that is going to be taken out. I strongly recommend trying to find someone else to install your fence or deck, it is not worth the headache to work with them.

  We initially contacted the company back in May to have a quote done for a fence installation at our office. We received the quote within a couple of days and signed the quote a couple days later as we were waiting for other quotes to come back. We signed and paid the contract in full 6-1-22. We were told we could expect install within the first 2 weeks of Aug. That time had come and gone. Had called several times to nail down a date of install. Any time we managed to get hold of someone in the office we just got told that a message would be passed on to the installer and would never get a returned phone call. After many attempts and phone calls we finally hear back from the installer Josh (Who is the owner of the company). Got told that we didn't sign the contract in time to meet an Aug deadline. Now we should expect install the first week of Oct. Here we are halfway through the first week of Oct and still no date set for the install. Called Josh right away in the morning and was told to call back at noon if we have not heard from him. Called right at noon and went to VM.   I would like to warn people before hand that this buisness will run off with your money and not make there deadline as said per there estimated date. I was supposed to have a fence put up beginning of July of 2022 I have yet to have my privacy fence put up in my yard. They simply always give the weather for an excuse I've had diggers come out and mark the lines twice and still no fence. I would not recommend them after they install my fence.
