  Around ****, I ended up needing emergency surgery. At the time, I did not have insurance. However, the hospital set me up with assistance and stated everything was paid for. Moving forward years later, I started receiving calls and letters from Dobberstein Law Firm, LLC. I thought this was a mistake so I called them. I was told that the hospital did not pay for the anesthesia part so I was responsible for that portion. At the time, I was very poor and could not afford anything. The letters and calls continued. I looked up my name in the state system and did not see any civil judgement against me nor is it anywhere on my credit report. Jan. 2023, I received a letter from them that they took me to small claims and won and, once again, I was liable to pay the balance. I never received anything from the courts regarding the claim, therefore, I did not attend. I called them and they stated I could set up a plan but it is still incurring interest. I have been paying $25 every 2 weeks since 12/12/2022. Today, I received a letter that states I've failed to keep my promise and now owe $4,171.79. This cannot be legal! I want this to stop!

  I am providing BBB with my information to further investigate the issue at hand.  Dobberstein Law Firm claims they cannot provide BBB with any information due to privacy laws. However, I am giving BBB my permission to obtain any information that *** update and possibly resolve my issue. 

  I am requesting validity of Dobberstein Law Firm and my account they state that was taken to small claims court. They did not provide me with any court information and therefore I am disputing the total amount they are demanding from me.

  No further contact from the company BCG Equities through Dobberstein Law Firm, LLC PO BOX 470 ********** ** ***** ************. I have filled out a financial statement twice to try and settle for a lesser amount and once I was informed today that they are willing to settle for $2600. I still owe $2937.67. I have paid over $4000 from 1/8/21 to 10/6/22 that includes a wage garnishment of $946.24. I was advised by Dobberstein Law Firm that they do not report to the credit bureaus of any payment that were made and that BCG Equities will not report until the balance amount is paid in full. I have been checking my credit report and there is no creditor listed under BCG Equities. I am asking that both BCG Equities and Dobberstein Law Firm settle for the $ ******* and close the account as paid in full and update my credit report. I would request that if I am able to settle my account this way that they do not sell information to another debt collector for the remaining balance amount or a higher balance amount or I will proceed with legal action starting with my local authorities. Dobberstein Law Firm, LLC has at least 12 complaints on the BBB website and no information on BCG Equities except for when I entered there information to file a complaint. I also saw on classaction.org there was a class action filed against BCG Equities, LLC and Dobberstein Law Firm, LLC. I have attached a link of all payments that has been made. Thanks

  I have worked with both ****** and ******* and the company is still not willing to work with me. I will not accept the generated message that they continue to respond with and if able, would like to see if I can proceed with legal matters. I have paid over $4000 and for me to settle I would have to pay a little over $2600, so they are only taking $300 off.

  I have tried over and over to pay the amount. The site that I am instructed to go to states I owe 0 dollars. I have tried to call and left several messages. I never get any return calls. I rec'd a letter today stating that they have a judgement against me, however no judgement is listed. The paperwork looks real. It states if no paid within 15 days, I will be charged $2000.00 per day!

  Complaint sent to the BBB regarding lawyer *************************:************************* represented PayPal via proxy for DNF. - I am a stalking victim. Please see www.onision.de or www.real-life-murder-mystery.com - I never had a PayPal credit card, I didn't even know they issue credit cards.- I have not been served or received any information on the alleged debt. According to "Commissioner ******" (also doesn't check out) of ********* courts, they tried to serve me (at an old address), but the person trying to serve me was told that I don't live there. "It has been returned as "bad""- I filed an attempted murder attempt against ************************* with the **** That's where they tried to serve me.- They still sent the order for a hearing to the "bad" address I received it two days before the hearing via **** forwarding. Please see attachment.- *********** has never contacted me before filing a court case. That seems rather peculiar. - It appears that ************************* is a fake identity with an AI image. - She didn't appear on Zoom, and it sounded as if she was in a bar or at a busy airport.- It sounded exactly as if they didn't expect someone would show up to the hearing, that they (unserved) deliberately sent to an address they thought I will not receive. The purpose appears to be a negative **** in my background report for a non-existing PayPal credit card issue I haven't ever been informed about. This is part of the stalking against me, and it caused me a huge amount of discomfort, stress, and fear. I'm sick for two days now. Part of the hearing was live streamed (without their faces):******************************** you're doing is criminal. Highly criminal. Please let me know if you need more information on other employees/associates I found. DNF lookup (prior to knowing ************************* would represent DNF)******************************: Two days BEFORE the court letter, I received letters not from one but two fake companies.   My husband and I were issued a law suit against us. Both of us has satisfied the judgments and Dobberstein has received all of our money. It cleared on 2/10/23 for ********************* and ********************* cleared on 3/10/23. They still have not sent us the letter and it's still showing up in the courts. I have called numerous times and they keep saying I don't know why it was missed and I need to take the letter to the courts to show my satisfaction. Thing is I don't have any letters they keep saying they will mail them out but I haven't received them. This is on our credit when we have already paid them and satisfied the judgments. I spoke with ****, ******* and ****. I want them to contact the courts and tell them the judgments are paid in full and they said they wont.

  I got a loan at 17 without any of my personal information being verified. They didn't ask for an proof that I was who I said I was and I thought I wouldn't actually get the loan so I did it because I was like why not and was living in a hotel. I found out that my debt was sold to this company. They sued me and I went to court and explained that I was 17 not able to be in a binding contract and that cashnetusa didn't verify any of my information They just put it in my account. I am now getting my wages garnished without an notification from them that they were doing that. I have a whole issue because they can see that I was 17 when the debt occurred and yet I couldn't get any type of compromise for the company not following guidelines for giving a loan. I understand that they took the debt over from cashnet but I feel like I should get a lawyer or file for bankruptcy.
