    On November 2023 I bought a **** Rockerball. Its has hardly been used and is stored indoors when not in use. The chrome is flaking off and should be replaced according to my local trailer/hitch store. I contacted ****** customer service on 2/27/2025 and was told **** would not honor its warranty. I just want my hitch ball to be repaired or replaced. It should not be flaking like this.

    Complaint Summary I purchased a **** Echo Underdash Brake Controller, which failed during my fourth camping trip. Despite troubleshooting efforts, I was left without proper braking for most of the trip, creating a serious safety concern.Complaint Details After the brake controller failed, I attempted to resolve the issue using available troubleshooting options. Unfortunately, these efforts were unsuccessful, and I was left without reliable braking for most of my trip. I reached out to Curt Manufacturing, expecting the warranty to cover the malfunction. However, they refused to honor the warranty, claiming that any refund or replacement must go through the original supplier.I then contacted ********, the retailer from whom I originally purchased the brake controller. However, ********* policy only allows refunds within the first 60 days of purchase, leaving me unable to obtain a refund through them. ******** also confirmed that Curt Manufacturing would need to handle the warranty claim, but **** has been uncooperative.Desired Outcome I am requesting a resolution that involves either a full refund or a replacement brake controller, covered under ***** warranty policy. Given the safety implications of a brake controller failure, I believe this issue deserves prompt and fair consideration.

    In July 2024, I had a trailer hitch, wiring, and wiring module installed on my 2024 Buick Envista Avenir. The parts, specifically the wiring kit and module, were new and supplied by **** Mfg. Prior to installation, Convenient ************* the installer of the hitch and wiring, verified through **** Mfg.s website that these parts were specifically for my vehicle's make, model, and year.After installation, it was discovered that the wiring module was not functioning correctly, and the trailer lights would not illuminate as required, rendering the trailer hitch illegal for use on public roads. **** Mfg.s tech support was contacted by the installer, Convenient ************* and a new wiring kit/module was ordered. The replacement part didn't work.I first contacted **** Mfg. in July ************************************************* contact with a representative who has been helpful, but as of today, the representative stated they have no updates.**** Mfg.'s tech support now states the wiring kit/module is not compatible with my vehicle, despite **** Mfg.s website explicitly stating that it is. **** Mfg., part of *******, admitted this was an engineering error but has no solution at this time. They requested that I disassemble my vehicle, take photos of the wiring, and submit them for further evaluation. I complied and there has been no resolution, and I am unable to legally use the trailer hitch.This situation falls under false advertising by **** Mfg., as the product was inaccurately marketed as compatible with my vehicle, causing me significant inconvenience and financial loss. I am requesting full compensation for the trailer hitch installation, parts, and labor, totaling $472, as the trailer hitch is unusable without properly functioning wiring. I am seeking compensation for a new, working trailer hitch wiring kit/module and for **** Mfg. to cover the cost of installation by a certified installer.

    On May 7th I ordered a hitch system for my car, that included hardware to install if. They sent the wrong hardware and when I emailed them about it on about May 10th, I got a reply implying that it was a seller issue, not a manufacturer issue, which I replied back and clarified it has nothing to do with the seller, so they emailed me back claiming that's the right hardware and I'd have to drill the frame of my car and tap new larger threads into the frame- so I spent money on the drill bits and a tap and die set and cannot use the tap set on the top two mounting holes.
