    To show that before I had the work done by ********************* JJ MAINTENANCE & REMODELING LLC the boards were straight. He lied and said they were uneven before he started his work when in fact he did a horrible job they were all uneven.This business did a horrible job on our deck. My husband is a retired veteran and disabled. I am 75 years old this owner *************** us $500 for work not done. He sent another contract to me fudging the numbers so it looks like he doesnt owe me any money. he sent another contract that doesnt have my signature on it as does the first one where it clearly shows he did not fulfill his contract and owes me $500. He is very dishonest and will only come to pick up the wood thrown all over my yard with the police ****** keep in mind, disabled vet, and 75-year-old woman. What does that tell you about his credibility?Pictures depicting the job I received fro ********************* the owner. Ill include the estimate I signed and sent a check for half the amount before he would start the job which is what most companies do and he held on to it until job started. He gave me the date he was to start but didnt respond to me when I asked him for a heads up time wise so I could unlock gate for access to deck and asked for a time so I could contain my dogs. Didnt respond just showed up at 6:30 am.We had discussed when he replaced my deck steps I had extra composite to use as the steps had holes and old glue on them.He replaced the steps with the old steps didnt touch the extra composite boards I se out for him. And the top area of the deck, when he put the deck boards back they are uneven as my pictures will show. He said they were like that before which is untrue as I have pictures before back in April showing they were even.He was to replace three panels of privacy fence which he did but only anchored with screws through the 4x4 boards and screwed into rotten wood.Ill attach the pictures and copies of our checks and youll be able to see how he fudged the numbers. He put on his second estimate $250 for removing a railing and that was never done. Also added $250 for a board which NEVER was included in original estimate. Estimate was $4,350. Youll see after adding our two payments and subtracting the $250 for the fence he didnt touch and the $800 charge for painting railings and privacy panels which he didnt do amounts to him owing us $500!If you need anymore clarification maybe if we have a phone conversation I can answer any questions.
