Garbage. Please avoid a decade of tricky contracts... It costs money to leave but it's 100% worth it. Even their loyalty department have their hands tied. I get a refund of a phone they took the deal away from 4 years from now to try to get me to stay. Hop to ****** Fi.. or anywhere else frankly. The only reason this smaller company is going is because boomers are locked in and don't realize how they have the right to raise the bill by 4 dollars every month. Read the contract... And then run You're welcome

Cellcom denied receiving at least two porting requests from Spectrum. Cellcom said they received nothing from Spectrum (i.e., porting requests) and that the problem was on Spectrum's end. Spectrum wants the mobile business, of course they are going to send a porting request(s). I wasn't going to ask for the Cellcom manager (after three polite calls to Cellcom with ignorant but perky and certain answers that Spectrum was at fault) so I just got a new number from Spectrum. I won't waste my time with cellcom ever again. Leaving this review is probably another waste of time but I want the state and other people to know that Cellcom is probably, first, acting illegally by refusing/denying/cancelling/ignoring (what is the right term here? I don't know) porting requests and, second, lying (that is right, you think Spectrum never actually sent any requests after me asking them at least twice?) about never having received porting requests. Good luck Cellcom, you will never bring anyone back by refuting facts and hiding behind technology that no one outside of your world can see. I could dig up the facts, such as evidence from Spectrum, but, again, not worth my time.

*******, Cellcom has your number marked as portable in a database where carriers list their portable/non-portable numbers. Any limitation around porting your number would be due to the other carrier. We have not received any port requests from Spectrum or any another carrier for your number. Thank you for being a longtime customer with **********************. We are sad to see you go. We wish you all the best with your new carrier.

I would not give Cellcom even a one star review. My husband and I purchased our phones from Cellcom with a contract almost two years ago. My phone has never really worked well. At best, we have one bar in our home. I have texts that do not go out, we have phone calls dropped in our home and in our neighborhood. The service has progressively gotten worse. It is to the point that I use our landline to communicate and make very short texts or they won't go out. A lot of times pictures do not go out. I have gone down to the office in Two Rivers to complain, that office is now closed. The Manitowoc office told my husband that we have too many trees in our area to receive a good signal. Both offices inform us to call their 611 customer assistance number. I have called that number many times. They tell me to turn my phone off to reset. That works for a little while. Now I have to call them on my landline because the phone call will get dropped on my cell. Lately, the routine is they can only talk with the person on the account, which in their mind is my husband, not me. They have given us new sim cards which did nothing. We have now been waiting over a week to receive a loner phone from them to see if it is our phones.
All we want is to get out of this contract so we can move onto a cell phone provider that will give us good service and a signal. To cancel our contract we would have to pay the remainder of the the amount owed on our phones. The phones and or service DO NOT WORK for us. They sold us phones and a contract knowing we would receive a very poor signal.

Cellcom has for many years been great to me and my family coverage….Until now. I purchased a google phone from the local store and have had nothing but problems with it since the first day. I cannot access the internet unless I’m hooked to Wi-Fi. I pay for data and it frustrates me that every time I bring it to their attention the same line comes from them. “ contact the manufacturer “ my response is I bought the phone from you not the manufacturer. The worst customer service I’ve had in the 10+ years I’ve been with them. My message is “Do not buy a google phone” in fact consider using a different cell service as I have read their coverage has been going down hill due to overselling their availability to cover peoples service.

I've been happy with my service and customer service from Cellcom for years. Unfortunately they have become a company only concerned about making money not about service to their customers. Lies, scams, and terrible unreliable service. I renewed my flex agreement plan and upgraded my phone back in June. I switched from a Samsung S9 to an S22, I switched plans and phones because I was told by 2 different sales people that I would have a lower monthly rate and better service due to the new phone and plan offering WiFi calling. This was a completed lie to make a sale, turns out WiFi calling is not available on the S22. After contacting customer loyalty after being told they "wanted to make things right" I exchanged for a Pixel 6 Pro, I was told they would give me a complete refund and exchange waiving the restocking fee, later I learned that my credit card was still charged and the original purchase was not completely refunded. Now with the Pixel 6 I do have the WiFi calling feature, unfortunately my phone receives little to know cell service and having a cell connection is still required to make and receive phone calls even if on stable WiFi connection. I routinely miss calls and texts will come through hours after they are sent. I contacted Cellcom on July 1st about this issue, a service ticket was issues supposedly, 2 weeks later I was still having major connection issues regardless of my location, I called again. I was again told that there was an outstanding service ticket and that the information would be updated. I was then told to expect a call back within the next week. It now been over a month with no call back and still having connection issues.

I have been a loyal customer of Cellcom for 20+ years. For 20+ years I have had cell service at my home. I bought a new phone directly from Cellcom in January, 2022 and had shotty coverage since. I recently contacted Cellcom about my cell phone service no longer working at my home as well as my phone not being able to auto connect to available WIFI without have to manually connect. Long story short, the service techs of Cellcom admit that they are having issues with new SIM cards that they started to issue in January and that the problems I am experiencing is most likely from that as well as towers in the area needing updating. In the past two weeks as I continued to reach out to Cellcom to address the problems, more than one representative has indicated that they are behind on upgrading their tower and are unable to keep their technology up to date as well as the big nationwide carriers. To make matters worse, Cellcome also sold me an out of date phone in January - per a representative from ******** That the phone they sold me was obsolete in December, 2021. Cellcom representatives that I have spoken to state that possibly by the end of 2022 they will have some of their towers updated. This is a warning to anyone with Cellcom or thinking about going to Cellcom as their phone provider. Run. Don't walk away from this company. They are behind in technology. They sell old, outdated equipment and they charge the same or more than Nationwide carriers. Further there is no reward for customer loyalty to this company that is falling farther and farther behind.

***********, all of the ******* devices in our lineup and available for sale in January of this year are current, which means Cellcom and ******* partner to provide the latest software for the device so it can continue to perform its best. Cellcom continues to invest in our network including new towers, updates to existing towers and behind-the-scenes upgrades to our network equipment. We are also rolling out new SIM cards to our customers, which provide access to the latest services like 5G and Wi-Fi calling. That said, wireless service has many complexities and we have reached out via email to gather more information to best assist you and are happy to continue to work with you to remedy the issues youre describing. There are options for improving coverage in your home and our tech support team is happy to review the wi-fi connection issue. Please feel free to reach out to us directly at **************.
