Met with Tony from American Foundation Specialist today and he immediately explained what needed to be done after reviewing the wall in the basement. He thoroughly explained the process they would complete. Tony provided us with a written quote and a target date for the job to be done.

Engaged Lyle ***** from American Foundation Specialist at the home show and described our water in the basement issue. He was knowledgeable of what it could be and made two visits to confirm. Had the work done in June and have no water in the basement since, even with the heavy rains in July. Very professional company to deal with. And I agree with ***** *** review below that the property looked the same after the work was done. ********American Foundation Specialists

We were very pleased with American Foundation Specialists. Everything was discussed on what our basement problem was and discussed with us every detail as to what they were going to do and how long it would take. They protected our grass and cleaned everything up. Tony and his crew were polite and professionals. We would recommend them to anyone. Very Happy with results, *****American Foundation Specialists

Jamie and his crew did a great job figuring out what needed to be done and they did an outstanding job correcting our foundation issues. He has an excellent crew around him. 6 weeks later you couldn’t tell that anything was done on outside. The yard looks perfect. Thanks Jamie!American Foundation Specialists

1 starThey excavated west wall, beams on 3 walls. My issue is their lack of following common sense standards. All companies/contractors/businesses have them. Salesman go through them, usually they are followed. It started on day one the minute they came late thru day 3 (last day) the minute they left. Came late everyday, foreman came later/left earlier. Didn’t lay runners, I noticed after they already had been coming through my house to basement. I said something, they laid painters canvas throw over the mess, it kept getting balled up, in the way, basement door wasn’t being closed, basement wasn’t closed off, were using 2 exits/entrances. On first day my salesman bails on me…he shows up I guess because an office girl came to work. Salesman ends up taking a load of dirt in the foreman’s dump truck. I figured he’d come in and ease my mind and I could show him my floor. He left!! Day two they laid nothing. I started taking pictures. I didn’t want to say more, I wanted the job done well and didn’t want bad attitudes while working. I told them day 2 and 3 that they were cleaning my floor and basement stairs. On day 3 I questioned the 2 man crew and foreman on why?? They said they didn’t like the runners they use. No good excuses for anything, they didn’t care. The 2 man crew did a terrible job on the floor, if the foreman was there when the job was completed he would have seen this and other things. The crew had the truck running for a while one man was waiting in the truck. They weren’t about to ask about the floor or anything else. The final payment was about 14 days later from completion, the basement wasn’t completed and a repair needed to be done. It could have been prevented if the work was looked over before completion. The foreman should have taken me through the basement. They took $200.00 off, the foreman said that’s what it would cost to have a cleaning place come for one day. It should have been for 3 days, I had to look at it every day, it wasn’t the job site!!
