This fraud company is charging me when I didn't sign up for their services and it auto submitted everything for me when I simply inquired about the resume services. I reached out and their phone # is beyond fake going to a voicemail with no call back and the *** **** on chat is a joke saying he isn't going to do anything because I agreed to their agreement and services which I absolutely did not.Business Response

After placing an order with our company, providing all of her information (including resume, work history, and job target), signing into her account, and accessing multiple pages on our website, the customer then proceeded to demand a full refund after work had already begun on her project.
We explained that we could not provide a refund at this point because work had already begun and that our cancellation policy is very clear. We explained to the customer that she agreed to this policy when she placed her order, and agreed to it again when accessing her account multiple times.
After explaining this to the customer, she stated that we automatically placed the order for her. This is not true - in total, the customer took numerous actions to place the order that were all documented by our system:
- Submitted her email address
- Provided her full mailing address
- Provided her phone number
- Clicked to move to the next step of our order process
- Attached her resume
- Added additional services to her order
- Clicked to agree to our terms of sale
- Clicked to submit her order
- Confirmed her choices
- Created her own personalized account on our website
- Accessed that account multiple times
At this point, the customer has received her new **********************, which was crafted according to our service agreement. We're also happy to provide screenshots of all of these records.
All of these actions match the customer's IP address, which matches her physical location submitted with her order. As such, this is a very clear record that the customer was fully aware she was placing an order. At this time, she is welcome to follow the terms of the service agreement she entered into with our company in good faith.

I am writing in response to the outrageous and dishonest statement submitted by this resume writing group, regarding my complaint. Let me be absolutely clear: their version of events is not only misleadingit is a complete fabrication designed to cover up what amounts to a scam.
First and foremost, I never agreed to a $349 chargethat amount was never shown clearly or confirmed by me before the transaction was processed. The order was placed automatically without clear disclosure of the price, and I contacted the company within minutesliterally five minutesof realizing what had happened. At that point, no work had been done, and there was no valid reason to deny a refund.
Their website claims a satisfaction guarantee, but this has proven to be meaningless. From the moment I contacted them, I was met with nothing but deflection, refusal, and flat-out rude and degrading behavior from a representative named ****, whose tone and treatment of me were completely unprofessional and offensive.
The companys attempt to paint this as a deliberate and fully informed order is absurd. Their system may have captured information, but that does not mean I was shown the final cost or that I consented to itespecially not for an amount as high as $349. I immediately cancelled and requested a refund before any service had been rendered. Instead of honoring their so-called satisfaction guarantee or even addressing my concerns like a legitimate business, they dug in and refused to budge.
At this point, I feel completely scammed and taken advantage of. I expect the BBB to take this seriously and hold this company accountable for deceptive practices, unauthorized charges, and abhorrent customer service. They should not be allowed to continue misleading customers with vague pricing, bogus guarantees, and bullying behavior when a customer rightfully disputes a charge.Business Response

We have attached the following records:
- Kohli_Invoice.png (shows the customers total, the cancellation policy she agreed to, the time of the transaction, what she ordered, and that she agreed to our terms of sale)
- AB.Kohli.Sunaina.PDF.VERSION.pdf (shows the resume that was completed for the customer in good faith according to the documents she sent us, the service agreement she agreed to, and the instructions she provided when she placed the order)
- Guarantee_Policy.png (shows the relevant terms from the guarantee the customer references in her complaint - as clearly noted in those terms, the customer does have requirements to be eligible for the guarantee - at this time, she has not followed any of those requirements, which is why she is not eligible)
- Customer_Action_Transcript.png (shows the actions the customer took on our website. These actions show that she navigated to our order pages, attached her file, clicked "Next Step", and clicked to submit her order after selecting her services. This clearly shows we did not automatically submit anything for her, and that every step of this process was initiated by a direct action on her part)
As is indicated by these records, we have made a good faith effort to service this customer in accordance with the agreement she entered into.

Hello my name is ****** ******* *** I have been struggling to be hired full time in the sports industry for years. I attempted to try to get my resume updated to be able to stand out. Unfortunately I have been dealing with an ongoing health issue and unable to use the service I purchased. I have contacted this company a number of times by email and phone but they told me that no refunds can be done unless I was not being hired after their services were completed. I specifically told them my that my ongoing health issue has caused me not to use what I purchased. They told me I authorized the purchase and all sales are final. I told them if your dealing with your health your services and company won't mean nothing. I have been seen by a number of doctors, specialists, and there is still no resolutions to my condition. I am unable to work and only receiving disability. I deserve my refund back.Business Response

We're very sorry to hear about this customer's health situation. Unfortunately, we still cannot issue a full refund for the customer's purchase. The customer purchased a custom-tailored service that was built specifically for him - the customer also signed our policy that clearly stipulates no refunds can be issued once an order has been in progress unless the terms of our guarantee have been met. The customer has not followed the terms of that guarantee.
Furthermore, the customer is stating that his health is the reason for him requesting a refund. However, we have download records showing the customer downloaded the ********************** on multiple occasions over the course of several months, used our career resources center multiple times, and repeatedly signed into his account. Additionally, we also have emails from the customer stating that he went on interviews after using the new resume. We also have other emails from him asking us to make changes to the resume - which we did make for him.
To cap it all off, the customer has the ********************** we created for him on his public LinkedIn profile right now...
Given that the customer agreed to our terms of sale, did not follow the terms of our guarantee, downloaded his new resume over the course of multiple months, posted his resume on his ******** account (where it remains to this day), and states that he went on interviews using the new resume, we don't believe a refund for the service we gave him is warranted. We are attaching screenshots to support these statements.

On September 1, 2024 I paid $189.95 to have my resume done by Resume Writing Group due to their guarantee listed on their website. I posted my resume on numerous platforms as they suggested but I have not received one interview. I reached out to them for a revision, which they did and they stated "These things take time." I posted the second resume and still nothing. I posted a review on Trustpilot, to which they responded stating for me to reach out to them. When I tried to it showed that they suspended my account. Their website stated guaranteed to get hired or money back plus $100. I have only been contacted by scammers.Business Response

We are sorry to hear about this customer's experience. However, the customer is not eligible for a refund at this time as the customer has made no effort to follow the terms that the customer agreed to when purchasing our service. Yes, we offer a 45-day money-back guarantee and there are stipulations to be eligible for this guarantee. These stipulations are posted at the bottom of every page of our website, and we know the customer is fully aware of them, because the customer posted a picture of the terms in the customer's original complaint.
If the customer wants to follow the terms the customer agreed to, the customer still has 50+ days before the guarantee expires to submit the required documentation to our company. We offer multiple methods of communication, these include live chat, phone, and ticket support. We have communicated with the customer directly and have advised the customer repeatedly what needs to be done to be eligible for a refund.

The customer purchased our ********************** & *************************** for $219.85. This included a $20 discount that our company gave to the customer to help make the service more affordable to him. While discussing the service options, the customer indicated that he wanted to consult with one of our resume writers regarding specific details he wanted to provide to assist with the writing process. Our standard resume service for $149 does not include a phone consultation with our writers. At the customer's request, we added the consultation service to the order. It was specifically explained to the customer that we were adding the consultation for the purposes of discussing his resume project, which is what he told us he wanted to spend the 30 minutes discussing.
After conducting the 30-minute consultation with our writer and discussing the resume project in detail, the customer then changed his mind about what he wanted and demanded that we provide him with career coaching. We explained to the customer that he had specifically requested a consultation to discuss his resume - NOT career coaching, and that if he now wanted career coaching, he would need to add that service to his order. At that point, the customer refused to work with us any further and instead demanded that we refund him for the 30-minute consultation that had already been completed.
As the consultation had already been completed, we told the customer that we could not issue a refund. The terms of sale the customer agreed to specifically state that refunds cannot be issued for consultations that have already been completed.
At this point, the customer has received the agreed upon services in full and is not eligible for a refund.

Our customer placed an order for our ********************************************* services on 02/02/2024 and received his new resume on 02/06/2024. Along with this service, we included free unlimited revisions for 30 days and our 45-day money back guarantee. Like every company, we have specific requirements that need to be fulfilled to be eligible for a refund. These terms were clearly posted on every page of our website, in the customer's account, and emailed to the customer on multiple occasions. After receiving his resume, the customer was sent several follow-*** in case he needed any additional assistance. He did not ask for additional assistance or changes to his resume.
Despite the customer being told he needed to order through ****************** at an increased rate, he purposely chose to order our discounted service. Even though he ignored our instructions, we serviced his order in good faith and did not require him to pay an upcharge for the extensive amount of extra time his eight-page 2000+ word resume required.
The customer returned to our company on April 13th demanding a full refund for our service. To be eligible for our guarantee, we require clients to submit proof that they have applied to at least 40 positions within 45 days. Again, this was disclosed to the customer on every page of our website, in his account, on his invoice, and in multiple follow-up emails.
Instead of following the requirements to be eligible for our guarantee, the customer continued to demand a full refund without adhering to any of our procedures. Unless the customer complies with our guarantee's requirements, he is not eligible for a refund. Along with this response, we will be attaching documentation that clearly illustrates what has transpired, including our good-faith efforts to assist this customer. We encourage the customer to follow our requirements if he wants to be eligible for a refund.

The transaction for resume writing occurred on 10/24/2023. After submitting a pre-written resume to the Resume Writing Group along with the types of targeted roles along with a job description of an interested role. I received a resume that had numerous errors. These errors included mispelled last name, incorrect zip code, omitted jobs and technical proficiences. After emailiing/communicating these errors several times via Outlook and their website, they continuously sent me an errored document. I even went to the extent of proviing them their document with the errors circled and the corrections but I still received an errored document. I paid $149.90 to have to continuoulsy tell them about the document its as if there was no proofreading at all furthermore the formatting was bad to wear headings were running into each other. At this point I have done their job and either need a refund or a decent resume that I can send out for potential jobs.Business Response

*********************** purchased a professional resume on 10/23/2023. Because we offer a highly-customized service, all orders include free unlimited revisions for 30 days, and customers are provided with a first draft to review. This first draft is not intended to be "perfect" but is instead intended to make substantial improvements over the customer's original **********************. From there, the customer can suggest edits, and we create additional versions based on those suggestions.
The customer's first draft was provided on 10/25/2023, well-within our advertised turnaround for first drafts. The customer then let us know about several changes she wanted us to make to the resume. Please note that these changes were not "errors" but subjective changes based on the customer's opinion. She even let us know that one of the changes was because she supplied us with incorrect information on her initial order:
"This is my mistake The position at Fortitude Re
should be
FORTITUDE RE (LHH CONSULTING) and not
FORTITUDE RE (LLH CONSULTING)
Can you please update."Our team advised the customer the very same day (10/25/2023) that we were happy to make these changes for her. We sent back a revised version on 10/25/2023, providing same-day turnaround in a good-faith effort to ensure this customer received excellent service.
The customer then requested another revision on 10/26/2023. This time, she noted that "Relativity" was not capitalized on the new resume. Our team was not originally told that "Relativity" is the name of a software program, so we did not know it needed to be capitalized. The customer also noted that the *** in her name should be capitalized. We made this simple change for the customer and sent back a revised version of the resume on 10/27/.2023.
At every point, our team repeatedly said we were happy to make changes and adjustments to the resume. We did also advise the customer that we were not able to issue a full refund for the service because it had already been provided to her. We also explained that our team provided a top-notch resume to the customer that was much better than her own DIY resume that she sent to us with her initial order.
The customer then threatened to contact her card issuer and our team again advised her that we had already made all of her revisions:
"I'd like to assist you with the situation can't do so if you won't tell me what's wrong with the latest version of the resume. As clearly outlined in our terms of sale that you agreed to when you purchased the resume, downloaded it, and accessed your client center, we offer free unlimited revisions for 30 days.
We do state that it can take a couple of drafts to get everything exactly right on your resume, which is why we're trying to work with you on changes.
I am more than happy to help, please let me know what you don't like, and we'll make adjustments for you.
Sincerely,
**** - Senior Writer & ****** Services Manager
www.resumewritinggroup.com"We can certainly outline the communications and the revised version that fulfilled all of your requests to your credit card company. We will also note that we have made a good faith effort to rectify any concerns you have and you're instead refusing to work with us.
Here is a clear timeline of correspondence for your convenience:
-Original resume is completed on October 25th, two business days after your initial order.
-You requested changes to the resume on October 25th. Your writer made those changes and sent back a revised version on the 25th.
-You requested different changes on the 26th. Your writer made those changes and sent back a revised version on the 27th.
-You requested another change on the 28th. Your writer immediately made that change and sent back a revised version on the 28th.
-I have forwarded this document to you again and asked if there are any additional changes we need to make to the resume. To this point, our writer has promptly responded to each of your questions and concerns with thorough responses.
