I purchased a truck at Mark ********************** Automobiles in ********* ** on 23 August 2022 for the price of $3500. According to the Buyer's Guide and to the owner the vehicle was only in need of new tires and a shut off switch. It soon became apparent that there were far more problems with the truck than what had been mentioned. It was taken to the repair shop for the recommended repairs and it was noticed there that the undercarriage was rusted so badly it needed welding. Also, the vehicle was overheating and needed a new radiator. After being in the shop for weeks and over $2000 spent the engine blew out. I spoke to the owner who offered me $1500 which I turned down as I have spent over $5500 now on an unusable vehicle. I am looking to get my money back on the purchase price.

Mr and ************ stopped by the shop roughly 9 weeks after the sale on a Saturday.  This was the first time that there was any communication about any issues.  At that time *********** stated that there was a little rust on the frame and it wasn't a big deal because he had it fixed for $200. Also at the first meeting there was no mention of overheating. ********* state law states that if there is any issues discovered the customer has to give the dealer an opportunity to correct and make available to the dealer within 30 days of the sale. The Webbs did not give us any opportunities. Although we are not obligated to anything, I have offered a settlement of $1500.00 which will be retracted if this continues to a civil matter in court.
