Fetch Rewards is scamming people. I played a game and earned enough points for two gift cards one was $25 and the other was $10. They were pending for 2/3 days then rejected saying one of my receipts didnt follow their rules. There was no receipts as it was points earned from a game they took a bunch of my points back in November claiming my reciepts didnt follow rules and I let it go. Im not letting them scam me any longer.

I am contacting BBB for Fetch app. They deducted my ***** points without any reason on 12/1/2024. I did all my transactions and actions for correct and didnt obey any rules. I respect the rules and respect the terms of use. But they deducted my points for no explanations. I bought all products in store and checked out for no issues. I used my credit card and got them well. But they said my receipts obey the rules, which is not what I accept and agree. I need them to review and add the points for me.And they also rejected my receipts and deducted my points on 10/28/2024 with ****** points. I didnt return any of items but they sent me the same email again and again without no explanations. They said I obeyed the rules and after the points is deducted they cant reissue but I never obey the rules. I need an explanation and get all refund of the points. Because I didnt do anything wrong.

I have been using Fetch Rewards for a few years now. I've been scanning and saving my "points" to redeem for a larger gift card on their app. 4 days ago, I decided to cash in my roughly $110 in rewards points for gift cards. Fetch decided to decline and void ****** points which roughly equates to $29 without ANY explanation. A blanket statement of "one or more of your Receipts broke the rules, so we collected the points".It appears that this has become a very COMMON OCCURENCE with Fetch after I conducted a Reddit search. Fetch only seems to find issues with your "points" and receipt scans when you go to redeem them. I will promptly be deleting the app after redeeming the gift card that I was "allowed" to redeem from them with my non-fraudulent ********** don't get to data mine my information for free.

I downloaded a game to earn points on this app in February. I have played it four hours a day since February to earn these points. The app does not track the points correctly and now they are refusing to give me my points that I spent hours a day for months to earn every time I inquire about them they are rude and they lie to me saying that they cannot manually award them. Yet they have partially manually awarded me some points for it, but not all. They are liars and cheaters and try to waste everyones valuable time. All I want are the rest of the points that I am owed. I only received ***** and was supposed to get ******. So I am still missing *****. Their app does not track points correctly and they try to take it out on their customers who have earned them

Hello! Thank you for reaching out to the Fetch Team!

Our Team reviewed this user's account and their recent Support Interactions in question. during our review, we confirmed that this user's reached out to us in regard to their Fetch Play Game: "Family Island Farming game".

On November 11th, 2024, the user contacted us again regarding points for a missing task from the game in question. After a thorough investigation, we could not confirm the task completion on our end and, given that we had already provided the one-time exception, within a previous support request, (********) on July 9th, 2204. As this exception was already applied, we initially declined to manually award the points.

We were able to make a final one-time exception for this user, and have awarded the eligible points for this user's final milestone to their account; with a total of ****** points being credited.

We encourage this user to explore their games Catalog and start earning with a new game! Verifying that they have enabled app tracking for both Fetch and the new game and confirm the game is listed under "My Games" before they start playing.

We here, at Fetch, are committed to ensuring a positive experience for all our customers. While we believe we have acted appropriately, we recognize the importance of customer satisfaction. With all eligible points from their Family Island Farming game being fully awarded to the user, we have determined that our actions helped the user reach their desired settlement and we consider this user's issue resolved.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Just for the record, this company is so unbelievably shady. That response is full of lies and inaccurate statements. They only awarded me my points 23 minutes ago after I contacted BBB. All of the other dates, points they had allegedly given me, and statements regarding such are complete lies. They also said they could not verify my completion of the game when I have sent them numerous screenshots showing that I have. What a shady and unethical company.

I redeemed ****** of my fetch points that I earned through scanning in receipts over a years time for a $25 Kroger Rewards card. It went through and said it would take the usual 3 days to process. I went in to check today and first, my rewards tab showed nothing. It was completely blank. I tried again a couple of hours later and all of my rewards magically appeared again. However, they had declined my reward saying I did not have enough points to redeem which makes no sense because it had already gone through and was processing. If I didnt have enough points to redeem, the app would not have let me redeem and move to the processing stage in the first place. Additionally, they committed fraud by stealing many of my points and not rendering them back to me. Finally, this company never provides proof if you ask them to against what they claim you did wrong. Go to any fetch Reddit search and youll see how many people are accused falsely, have points stolen from them, and how many never receive their rewards that they saved up for.

I cashed in my points and I got a message saying they were deducting ****** points, taking away my chance for a gift card after collecting, organizing, and scanning my receipts! This complaint concerns the wrongful denial of rewards points earned through the Fetch app. Fetch misinterprets and misapplies its eReceipt policy, retroactively applying it to in-store purchases. This, coupled with inadequate customer service and intrusive demands for access to personal information, violates consumer rights.Detailed Description of Events:1Mischaracterization of Receipts: Fetch mischaracterizes receipts from ***** Club Scan and Go as standard "e-receipts," despite these receipts originating from in-store, physical purchases.2Digital Storage Does Not Equal Online Purchase: Fetch conflates digitally stored receipts from in-store purchases with online purchases, manipulating the definition of an e-receipt to deny customers earned ******************************** Failure: The Fetch app initially accepted and processed these receipts, demonstrating they met the system's criteria. The subsequent denial suggests a systemic failure within Fetch.4Policy Ambiguity: Fetch's terms and conditions lack clear language regarding digitally stored receipts from in-store purchases, violating consumers' right to clear and unambiguous terms.5Consumer Rights Violation: Fetch retroactively applies its e-receipt policy to in-store purchases, violating consumer rights.6Intrusive **************** Practices: ********************'s demand for access to the complainant's email account is irrelevant and intrusive, as the receipts are not related to any online purchase.Evidence:Copies of the disputed receipts from ***** Club Scan and Go, demonstrating that they represent in-store purchases.Screenshots of the Fetch app initially accepting and processing these receipts.Documentation of Fetch's eReceipt policy, highlighting the lack of clarity regarding digitally stored receipts from in-store purchases.Record of communication with Fetch customer service, demonstrating their misinterpretation of policies and intrusive demands.Sincerely,******

    Date: 11/20/2024

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Fetch's response fails to address the core issue of their misinterpretation of "eReceipts" and the retroactive denial of my rightfully earned rewards points. Their attempt to categorize in-store "Scan and Go" receipts as online eReceipts directly contradicts their own stated policy.
Fetch's Misleading Response and Policy Contradiction:
Mischaracterization of "Scan and Go" Receipts: Fetch insists that "Scan and Go" receipts are "eReceipts" eligible only through their online feature. This is a deliberate misrepresentation, as these receipts are generated in-store during a physical shopping trip, not through an online purchase.

Direct Conflict with Fetch's Stated Policy: Fetch's own policy clearly defines eReceipts as related to online purchases:
"With eReceipts, you can earn points for eligible online purchases by linking Fetch to your email and other online retailer accounts." (*************************************************************************************************************)

"Shopping online? Fetch eReceipts earn you points on eligible online purchases." (***************************************************************************************************************************)

These statements explicitly link eReceipts to online shopping and account linking, neither of which applies to "Scan and Go" receipts. Fetch's attempt to apply this policy to my in-store purchases is a blatant misrepresentation of their own terms.

Systemic Failure and Blame Shifting: Fetch attempts to shift the blame onto me, suggesting I should have known the receipts were ineligible despite the app initially accepting and processing them. This is unacceptable. The onus is on Fetch to establish clear policies, ensure their system functions correctly, and honor the rewards initially granted.

    My Demands Remain:
Immediate Credit: I demand that Fetch immediately credit all wrongfully denied rewards points for my "Scan and Go" receipts.
Policy Clarification: Fetch must clarify their policies to explicitly include "Scan and Go" receipts under eligible in-store purchases, acknowledging the distinction between different shopping methods.
Formal Apology: I expect a formal apology from Fetch for the mishandling of this matter, the misrepresentation of their policies, and the attempt to deny my rightful rewards.
Fetch's response demonstrates a blatant disregard for consumer rights and a clear pattern of deceptive business practices. The BBB must hold Fetch accountable for their actions and ensure fair treatment of consumers. Failure to address this complaint adequately will compel further action to protect consumers from such exploitative behavior.

    Regards,

Fetch falsely advertises. In their app they state you will earn 40 points for every dollar spent at ******* if you purchase through their app. I purchased tickets on October 25, 2024, 7 of them for $536. I received no points when purchasing. Just message stating I would get points in up to 7 days. No points awarded. Fetch has no explanation as to why I got no points or can't prove despite having my receipts and order numbers. After complaining they awarded 2400 points, just a random number. I bought through them at ******* because of their offer. There were cheaper seats on other sites but purchasing on Fetch allowed me to increase my point total. This is a scam!! I spent extra money to up my point total based on their advertising. Please help. I should be rewarded my points or be refunded for cheaper ticket prices.

Fetch Rewards company is an app that rewards customers with points for their data. You scan receipts which then can be used to ****** points to exchange for gift cards. In multiple occasions the company has deducted points upon retrieval of gift cards. They give a vague reasoning and then never provide proof of harmful doings or breaking of company rules. They only respond with canned responses. This is essentially theft. If you read reviews on the Apple Store you can see many customers are being stolen from. Ive had over $100+ removed from my account. They then refuse to respond when you ask for any further explanation. I believe this company is scamming people every now and then while collecting your data and selling it. They have no customer service number to reach them at so it is impossible to contact them without an automated message being sent. I would like my money in the form of gift cards returned as well as an investigation into their activities, which I believe to be criminal. I have provided the email and only a small portion of the reviews of others claiming the same thing. If there is any other information youd like me to provide, feel free to contact me. Thank you.
