1 starDon't go there! I have a great insurance provider and these people had the audacity to charge $475 for a visit that involved a doctor just look at a pimple on my leg and prescribe me an oinment. When I called to inquire about this I was told the doctor did a treatment (a total lie because he sent a presciption to the pharmacy, which I paid for) and that first time patients have to pay $500. When I did the check-in online there was no disclosure of this. The billing agent from their company said they don't have to disclose this; therefore, I have to pay for this. I even asked if coming in person to the doctor's office would help resolve this and she said no. She said I could work on a payment plan but not to bother the staff. Really??? Plain robbers!!! And now I have a bill from some lab also charging me after insurance coverage. When I called to inquire, they said this doctor asked for a test of 25 different things (something that was not disclosed to me and that to this day, I have not been informed about). Avoid this people at all costs!Review fromAlisha H

1 starAwful experience. Had surgery of a cyst removal. I am a cash paying patient and needed a "good faith" quote, which I was provided for $300. The surgery didn't go well, the Dr. Cut himself during surgery and we had to do a blood contamination test. I was told I would hear within 24hrs on blood testing, I didn't hear anything within the time frame of 2 weeks, during that time I left 3 voice-mails to the nurse...I finally got a call saying I was fine and they couldn't get back to me sooner because they couldn't find my results due to my first and last name being entered by them backwards!! So I had to live 2 weeks wondering if I was ok. Now I just received an additional bill in the mail from pathology stating they submitted my cyst for labs and now owe them an additional $540!!! I was never told about or quoted further charges aside from the over $300 I paid in office. This was THE worst patient care I've ever received!! I tried calling early this morning to speak to the clinic manager and was directed to voice-mail once again and no one has called me back to help me.

1 starVisited the ****** location - 20 minute visit and was billed $474.00 - 3X what I was expecting. I was expecting $178.00 since that is what they told me verbally. NEVER go back - highway robbery.Review fromNancy W

1 starAs a new, one time patient, bring a witness with you. Don’t sit in waiting room more then 25 minutes. ****** and her assistant bullied me into having a cancer screen. They wouldn’t take no for an answer, and I knew it wasn’t necessary. A cancer screen consisted of just looking at my skin, for less then a minute, and charging several hundred dollars for it. More concerned about money than your health or concerns. Shocked and frightened by their aggressive, rude behavior. I’ve never WALKED OUT of an appointment, but this time, I certainly should have. After the cancer screen, ****** was reluctant to treat the issue I made the appointment for. My small issue had been irritating me for years and my only concern of possible cancer. I insisted it be removed. The whole situation seemed more about abuse than money. Overcharging and up selling is definitely a part of it. What should have been a 20 minute simple appointment turned into well over an hour ordeal, thanks to ****** and her assistant. If I ever feel the need for a dermatologist again, Forefront Dermatology is not an option.Review fromsteve a

1 starTRUE scam artists there. You call in for a self pay appointment and they tell you $150.00 then they bill you for $265. They say the $150 was a down payment. The provider was in the room for 8 minutes. I figured that would be the lowest level of care for 150 bucks. Nope, they need $2000/hr for their services to keep the lights on apparently. Why would they bring up $150 as a figure when they don't offer a service for 150 dollars? To scam you, that's why. NEVER AGAIN!!!!Review fromBecky P

1 starI have been a patient of theirs for years. Over the past two years it has been increasingly hard to get an appointment. They say they are accepting new patients on their website but they don't seem to have time for their current patients. This week has been utter h*** trying to get an appointment as my insurance changed the requirements for my current prescription and wouldn't you know they did it just before my refill time. I've never been so stressed out and disappointed in a doctors office. I've been told several times they don't have an appointment available for several weeks and I would have to talk to a nurse to see what they could do about my prescription running out. I left several messages at the nurses station as they never answer the phone and not once did I get a call back. I finally get an appointment last minute on a Friday afternoon, have to call off work to go, and when I get to the appointment the receptionist tells me the doctor is running 30 minutes behind. Never ever have I been treated so poorly by health care staff, no empathy for my situation, and no real care or want to help me find a resolution from staff. No idea how they can have a "A+" rating.Review fromStephen C

1 starMy dermatologist is great. Unfortunately, he got involved with this faceless corporation that harasses you for "unpaid" bills and sets collection agencies on you when it can't keep its billing records straight. The $20 was paid months ago and we had to go to the bank to get a copy to prove it. Funny how the billing error always seems to work in favor of the corporation at the expense of the customer. Dermatologists, please take note that my dermatologist might lose customers because of this billing experience.Review fromAmy N.

I can't believe this is a BBB accredited business. My experience was with Forefront was a nightmare. First. you can't get a real person on the phone. Not even to schedule an appointment. Now, my story. I had what I thought was a cancer/melanoma spot. I was terrified by the time I made my appointment. Upon arrival the receptionist was very rude. "Do you need something?" was her greeting. I sat in a waiting room for 50 minutes, watching as people who came in much later than me breezed on in to see the doctor. The receptionist - no more than 25 feet away from me, got up to go in back when I approached her and asked about the wait. Her flippant answer was that the doctor was behind. She looked at a chart and said she was seeing her 12:40 patients at the moment (my appointment was for 1:00. It was now 1:40). I was so put off by her rudeness I started to cry (I had put off this appointment for so long so sure I had cancer, and this place my last resort seemed surreal, cold and absurd) and I ran out of the office telling her to cancel my appointment. I went to my car and tried to call Forefront to ask for someone to complain to doctors offices just dont waste peoples time like this anymore! This is so unfeeling and unprofessional to make a patient wait more than 15 minutes. I had arrived early as instructed and had been sitting there for 50 minutes a first time patient afraid and alone. The only phone number answered by a real person was for customer complaints. That lady told me that Dr. ***** ******* the doctor I was supposed to see is the owner and CEO of Forefront and that I should go back in and tell her what had happened. I did. I finally got into a room, this ***** waltzed in and said, So I hear youre the one complaining about the wait. No apology. She looked at her assistant and said, Have her put on a gown and she started walking out. I called out Im not disrobing and putting on a gown. My spot is up by my neck."Amy N.

Dr. ***** ******* came back in. What are we looking at? she asked. I pointed to the spot on my chest. She looked, walked around to my back, started lifting up the back of my shirt and THEN asked, Do you mind if I take look at your back. AFTER she had lifted up my shirt. I felt so violated! Then, she moved around to the front and asked if I would take off my bra. I gave her a firm No! ( later looked closely at my **** and saw I was being charged for a Trunk Exam) This is where I asked if she was the head of the ***** of ********* and I tried to tell her how rude the receptionist was. She said she was the owner of the company and she would have a word with the receptionist. Then, she started inspecting my face, asked if I had ever had anything frozen off, and said I had precancerous cells over my left eyebrow. I said no and she immediately left the room, came back in with a big tank and aimed it at the cells and froze it off. She set the tank down, approached the spot on my chest and said Im going to take a biopsy, this shouldnt hurt too much. Then she stood there with my skin and the razor and yelled to her assistant I forgot a bottle. Would you grab one. Dr. ******* said, Im sending this in to be biopsied. If you dont hear anything back within two weeks make sure to call us. God Bless You. And then she left. She had spent no more than 10 minutes with me. Probably less more like 7. I was quite shaken up. The assistant also left. I was not told to stay out of the sun, use sunscreen, nothing. I wasnt given any paperwork. I never saw them again. A day or two later I found my account on their website and it said they had found all kinds of things. And I had to pay for them. I paid the ****. I want Forefront Dermatology to be taken off the list of BBB accredited businesses!!!!
