I brought a used car I bought to sommers subaru to have it fully inspected. It cost $159 and I gladly paid it to have fully inspected. Two months later I have a brake line leak and schedule an appointment to get it fixed. I'm told that I need to pay another $100 to have the vehicle inspected and it wouldn't be credited toward the cost of the brake line repair. I just had it inspected and said I shouldn't have to pay to get it inspected again and that I just want my brakes fixed. After a manger was contacted I was informed that the $100 was not negotiable. I got my key and left. Really felt like they were trying to take advantage of the consumer. I won't be back.

Do not purchase a certified pre owned vehicle from this dealership. Period. They sold us a certified vehicle that broke down and was not drivable within 3 days of owning it. I will not recommend Sommers to any friends or family members and will never do business with them again. I have requested to speak to a manger several times at this point and have yet to hear from anyone. I do not feel comfortable driving this vehicle or letting any of my family members drive it. Would you let your daughter or family drive a vehicle that you didn't think was safe? Just wanted to provide an update.. it is now 5 months later, 30,000 miles on the "certified" pre-owned vehicle I bought here. I was now informed of an oil leak after getting a routine oil change done. I have large oil spots in three different locations in my driveway that will take time to remove. Sommers GMC continues to minimize the severity of this issue on a pre-owned vehicle I bought from them. They continue to tell me "the vehicle is under warranty" ... for now it is. That warranty doesn't last forever and when it's expired and I continue to have these issues with the vehicle. It's my wallet that gets hit. This car is simply a piece of junk and Sommers refuses to take responsibility for after "certifying" it. Don't waste your money here, you have lost my business along with anyone and everyone I know. I will be sure to go out of my way to let people know how much of a scam this dealership is.
