I sent an email requesting my brother's Obituary (****** *****) appearing on ****************** be removed from their site. His name, date of birth, other personally identifying information, his photo and likeness, as well as various messages intended for the family and not for public display were apparently scraped from the funeral home web site and are being published publicly by ********************************* without any authorization or consent. They are trying to sell memorial trees and other things for their own profit. The email I sent to their privacy department was never responded to for the removal request. Ordered flowers off an obituary site at 3:30 pm (Friday)for delivery the following day (Saturdays funeral 11am). Received call at 2:11pm Saturday that they couldnt find a florist in the area and tried to find other florists but nothing in the areaFirst, this call came three hours after the event.Secondly, this area of ********, ******** has seven florist within a 10 minute radius of the church. Lastly, the florist in the area close on Fridays at either seven or 8 PM.If they were having trouble why wouldnt they call me Friday night so I could make my own arrangements? But to call on Saturday (after the luncheon was even over) was unacceptable. I only used them because it was supposed to be convenient. Instead, I was hurt that our arrangement was not at the church and the family thought we forgot them. So sad when this is Tributes stores only business. When I called them back, they literally gave me Word for Word the exact same excuses. When I question them on the other florist in the area and the timing of closing(because they said I ordered at 3:30 PM on Friday. There was no time to get it to the funeral on time even though I did research and found that NOT to be the case) theyre only solution was full refund or send to address on file (which was a relative of our friends not the people we needed to have the delivery sent to). Clearly with the canned response, this is an occurrence that happens often. Other companies **** used put a timer on their website, saying if something ordered at a certain time. It will be guaranteed delivery. They gave no indication there could be a problem with the delivery and didnt call until long after the event was over!Business Response

We understand there are several local florists in the area. However, since Tribute Store partners directly with the funeral home, all orders are fulfilled by their preferred florist. In general, local florists close by 5pm and only a few remain open as late as 8pm.
We made every effort to contact you as soon as we were informed that the assigned florist could not fulfill the arrangement. Unfortunately, by that time the service had already concluded.
Our specialized team is actively addressing issues like this and working on improvements to prevent similar situations in the future. We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention as feedback like yours helps us enhance our service.

My mother's obituary and photo was reposted on March 4th, 2025, taken from the funeral home's website we used (**********************************************) on Tribute Archive's website without our permission. On Tribute Archive's website they ask people to donate to plant a tree in her memory and they provide social media links for people to click on and spread the stolen information more widely. This happened one day after our funeral home posted it and it claimed to be in partnership with them. There is no legitimate partnership between them and we did not agree or desire to have a Tribute ************ soliciting money or social media campaigns in our mother's name. There is no other reason for Tribute to do this other than to defraud our connections of money and collect personal data for more successful phishing operations. I tried to order a Memorial Tree for a funeral. It kept saying Card denied x 10 times. Called my bank and nothing wrong with my debit cards. Called The Tribute store on the phone# listed. I could hardly understand her. Iasked her location. She refused to give ***. Stated it was an offshore account only. This issue was never resolved. I don't have any other cards. Flowers were to be delivered before the funeral service. The service is over and no flowers were delivered. I have contacted the company requesting a full refund. They said it will take 2 days to receive a refund so I'll wait and see if that happens. But to not fulfill flowers specifically for a funeral is disheartening. I purchased a spray of flowers for my family. The decedent was ****************************, at the ***************************************** in ********************, **. and the card sent with the flowers should have read: From ******* and ******************************* (maiden name is ********. The card used was in my maiden name.) I spent $232.81 and the flowers were never received. All cards were collected for acknowledgements at a later date and there was no card for the flowers I sent and no sign of flowers. My sister has the same complaint.I want my money back.
