I was on my way home after work, **************************** outside of ******** **. and my tire went flat, engine quit. I called AAA at 3:30PM CST. Right on a major highway. They advised me ONE HOUR. After an hour and a half, I called back. They said "***** minutes". An hour goes by. Call again. I was sent to escalations, and HUNG UP ON. Then, they called me after 6pm and said "sorry we have nobody coming to get you" and HUNG UP AGAIN. So, 9pm rolls around. Flat tire. Car won't start. Raining. No stores nearby for safety. Thank god I wasn't killed by passing semis and other vehicles. Oh and not to mention the tornado that flew over me. (Verified by The Weather Channel at 7:21 pm) I called again at 9pm and was told "yeah no. Were not coming to get you, not anytime in the forseable future anyway". Asked for a supervisor. Got connected to escalations, and told we had to talk to them or nobody. Rude horrible service. This is the SECOND time in 3 months this exact scenerio has happened. Last time they ended up comping one year of service, and I'll bet anything that's why they refuse to pick me up now. I'm flabbergasted AAA treats their military vets this way. I'm not letting this slide this time. AAA put my life in danger this time. 6 hours on the side of the road. 6 hours in exactly 19 more minutes. I'm a member of the local VA and this will be broadcast at our next meeting. I ended up calling a local tow at 10 pm that cost me $400.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Nothing has been resolved to my satisfaction. They claim they will reimburse me, but until I actually receive this reimbursement, I'm not going to close anything. It would not be the first time AAA has been dishonest with me. If & when I do receive said reimbursement, then this will be resolved to my satisfaction. I really think AAA needs to give their employees some sensitivity training. They are amongst the worst in the country. Regards,

I never stated that this was resolved to my satisfaction you said you would send me a check to reimburse me the $400. Once I received the $400 then I will consider the matter resolved to my satisfaction. Until I actually have the reimbursement in my hand I do not believe you will send it and I am not going to **** this as resolved until that happens. Do not put words into my mouth that is exactly what you are doing. Once I receive the reimbursement then and only then will this matter be resolved.Regards,
