      How am I responsible for a unit Ive never seen & when did I sign a lease? I never even been to this property before let alone got ************* a balance on my credit report.

      Dear ******,

      Attaches is the signed lease agreement between **************** and Lincoln Crest Apartments, LLC.  **************** applied on October 19, 2023 for a move in date of November 1, 2023.  She signed the lease agreement on October 20, 2023.  After signing the lease agreement, **************** stopped all communication with Lincoln Crest Apartments, LLC.  However, due to the signed lease agreement, **************** was still responsible for the rent and utilities until her apartment was re-rented.  Lincoln Crest Apartments, LLC was able to get her apartment re-rented as of December 8, 2023, thus ending Ms. ******* responsibility at of December 7. 2023.  The balance on her credit report is from her final account statement.

      Air conditioning in apartment has not been operating as designed for quite some time. Runs for a very long time and it is causing energy bills to be twice as expensive as the previous apartment we were in which was double the size. They claim to have sent someone out to check. The company sent to check just brought a flashlight with to do a HVAC diagnosis. Im told they did a diagnostic test on my HVAC unit, however the technician did not come with any set of gauges to check the pressures in my unit. Just a flashlight. We have ice building up on the evaporator tubing and it causes the air conditioning to run for excessive time. Our unit ran from 9am to 10pm without shutting off to cool the apartment from 72 to 70 degrees and it was only 79 outside ambient temp. We have had about 5 different service requests for this issue and they all get blown off telling us everything operates properly when that is far from a fact. No HVAC unit should run for 13 consecutive hours. I asked for a copy of the repair order both by the apartment complex as well as the outside vendor they used to complete the diagnosis neither of which could give me a repair order listing what was done. They both said they performed diagnostics on the unit. But they only brought a flashlight into our unit to inspect and no diagnostics were actually performed. Not even a temp reading from the vents. Nothing. Yet I am being told they performed diagnostics and everything is fine. I now have a second HVAC company coming out which I have to pay for out of pocket to see what is wrong. Im unsure how they can tell me everything is fine when they did not check the pressures to make sure I have an adequate amount of Freon in the system. All Im asking for is a record of the repairs that have been completed in the apartment I am living in. Weve also had a complaint about possible mold due to a water leak after a storm. And they did the same thing just said it was fine and it has me questioning everything.
