      Beware of these people. The come to you offering a service with fees that are much lower than anyone else, but they hide the real fees. There are transaction fees left and right, many of them completely undisclosed in the contract, hidden behind from weird transaction type you don't have any control over. I've had transactions that averaged up to 20% in fees. Imagine, just to process that Credit card. Unbelievable! They also offered stuff that they can't even provide (because they are not authorized) like ****** ***, ***** *** and ******. They lie openly, because they know you will not be reading the very small letters in the contract. Then, when you realized you are being robbed and cancel the service, they hit you with a very steep service cancelation fee. I ended up paying over $400 after canceling their service. That is why they don't just credit you the net transaction value. They credit the gross value and take their fees directly from your account. They do that so they can take your money, and you can't stop them. DO NOT TRUST WHATB THEY SAY< THEY WILL LIE TO YOU OPENLY, It costed me many thousands of dollars in overpayment and I didn't realize it until it was too late. One last thing, your account manager is actually only a salesperson. It feels like it is someone you can trust, and he is even your friend. That is only until you actually sign the contract, after that, he's gone out of your sight. You will never be able to talk to him again. My guy was someone called James *********. I tried reaching out to him clarify some aspects of the contract and some of those things he offered but were not working. He never again pickup his phone. I left him at least 50 messages, but he never even bothered to return any of the calls. Do Not Trust Them.

      This company likes to ROB small businesses of their hard earned money!! They neglect to tell you about their monthly service fees then withhold your money until you pony up what they charge. If you call them out on it, they want to say it was a simple 'miscommunication'... no, it's THEFT BY OMISSION !! Call it what it is!

      Do not complete an application for merchant services, they will insist on all your banking info and claim it is just part of the application. Once approved they start billing you $34.95 per month without asking if you wish to proceed with the service, and once you cancel you will get hit with a $295 Merchant One deconversion fee! This may have been buried in the terms and conditions of their application but it is theft plain and simple.

      Merchant One is a disorganized and a dishonest company! We signed a contract with Merchant One stating that all transaction fees would be paid by the customers; however, the fees were deducted from the money deposited into our account. When we contacted ****** ****** and customer support regarding the fees, we were told that the program we signed the contract for can not be offered to healthcare companies. We voiced our displeasure as Merchant One knew we are a healthcare clinic. We requested to cancel the service and to get a full refund for the Clover Flex due to Merchant One breaching the contract. Merchant One promised a full refund for the Clover Flex POS system plus any unused monthly service fees. They stated they would mail labels for us to return the system and they turned the system off that same day. Instead of receiving return labels, we received multiple emails with a new contract. After weeks of numerous calls to Merchant One, being placed on prolonged holds, and repeatedly asking for a supervisor; we were informed by a representative that the supervisor approved the labels to be mailed to us and a 20% restocking fee (which was never mentioned before) would be taken from our refund. We voiced that we did not agree with the restocking fee, as it was Merchant One that breached the contract. We finally received the shipping labels and the tracking show that the Clover Flex POS system was received by Merchant One over a week ago. However, we have not received a refund as promised to our account and we have never heard from the supervisor regarding our disagreement with the 20% restocking fee. This company is manipulative, unprofessional, and disorganized. They care nothing about providing professional service to their customers. IF YOU WANT AGGREGATION AND DISHONESTY, USE MERCHANT ONE! My advice is to go straight to the CLOVER company for your POS system.

      This place is a scam they have over 14 thousand dollars of mine it's been 3 weeks no deposit has been made. Every time I call they say give it 24 to 48 hours and nothing gets done. Now I need to figure out how to get my money from them.

      All Lies Lies Lies from this company. They will take their fee out of your bank account from a charge u did and still hold on to your money !!! Also will go back and try to take more money out of ur account without you authorizing it !!!!!!!! I was with them for almost 3 years, I did a catering and they did not release the funds. They then asked for an invoice and 3 months bank statement which I gave them. They still didn’t release the funds of $5000 to me. I was bounce from rep to rep. Couldn’t speak with a supervisor much less a manager. I told my customer to dispute the charge with their bank and get the money back and that they can pay me another way. After the dispute was successful, merchant one attempted to take the $5000 from my bank account after, and still not releasing my hard works pay that I deserved, luckily I didn’t have that much money in that account it got returned the next day. My bank blocked them before but they used a new charge code to go in my account and withdrew money that I didn’t authorized or knew anything about. This company will steal from small businesses. I couldn’t make this up even if I tried, I had to experience it. Run Far Far Away !!!!!! My only good thing with this experience was this one rep that assisted me, she did her best to help me out, but the company is terrible and she deserves to work somewhere else, her services was too notch, I hope she finds better that can make use of her awesome customer service and care for us clients !!! They use ***** ***** to get good reviews, just go on ******** and you will get genuine true reviews.

      They have processed $24,000 in credit card processing. It has been 10 days I have yet to receive any of the money and no one is emailing back or corresponding.

      Exactly like the other reviews here. Declining sales they think are too risky, Holding money for weeks, monthly minimum fees, and absolutely the worst customer service team Ive ever dealt with. They put a hold on over $3k because someone decided we were a risk. I was told by a customer service member that if the funds were returned, that they wanted to make sure I wasnt going to close up shop and disappear. After asking for invoices and bank statements that were sent in us, received no confirmation or time frame of when funds would be released. After one week of no correspondence, I called on a Monday and was told I would receive an update by Wednesday. No email, no update. Called Thursday morning looking to speak to someone, was told funds are in the final stage before they are released and they would by in the account by 1-2pm. No funds, no email, no update. Absolutely ridiculous!Save yourself a lot of money and grief by never doing business with Merchant One Payment Solutions Inc

      I filed an application with clover card processing company and received a call back from Luis Gina’s claiming to be calling for setting up for my clover account. But he wasn’t working for clover, but working with merchant one. Which he did not disclose. Online clover claims they have zero monthly fees. But Luis got me to sign a contract for three years and still haven’t claimed that his contact is for merchant one ( which I didn’t want to deal with ) because I was given impression that I’m working with clover. I requested that I only needs a phone app that where I’ll be able to process my small 1 person limo service credit cards that customers pay for rides. But he insisted that I should sign up for clover flex ( still didn’t clear that he’s not clover employee, but merchant one employee ). He convinced me that I have upto 30 days try and if it does fit my business he’s there to help. He insisted that he’ll stay on the phone with me while I sign the contract so he can make sure everything is correct.it wasn’t something that was fit for my business, so without using their services for even 1 transaction, I contacted customer service, then realizing that it wasn’t directly clover but merchant one who’s salesman did not disclose when had me sign a contract. Signed a contact on December 5th, 2024. Called to cancel on March 28th, 2024. I was asked to reply cancellation request via email, email received. And was told to return the device to given address. On January 8th 2025 I received an other email acknowledging that my account is closed and I should return clover flex to given address which I have already sent back since December 28th 2024 and received by the staff in that office. I am running of space for further details. Please stay away from Merchant One, they’ll scam you into sign a contract. They don’t respect American small businesses. Only one goal Luis ***** and teams at merchant one is to get money out businesses in scam and unauthentic, un American way.
