We operate a small 8-unit Appartment. In May 2022 we decided to change telephone carrier using Internet instead of the regular phone connection to Johnson fire monitoring board in order to save some money. The work request was simple but what ensuing has been a nightmare. Not only Johnson Controls overcharged and listed services that were not done, it sent negligent technician who left an exposed wire that later had caused damage to the board. The total charge comes to over $5,000. We wrote a total of 4 letters to the company. To dispute about the invoice. Some are returned because undeliverable ? We sent the last one by Registered mail to another Johnson Controls address but no response is received to date. What happens to the fire monitoring from May2022 ? Since the board is damage, it constantly sounds the alarm day and night 24/7 going to 8th month loud enough to make people going crazy. We dare not call Johnson Controls to come to fix because of fear being charge excessively on the top of the amount we are disputing. What happens to the fire monitoring with a damaged and not working board that has sounded the alarm since May 2022? JC still bills the service monthly. We pray that nothing happens to our building by carefully monitoring ourself otherwise JC is exposing itself to big liability. The nightmare came when I was renewing my mortgage loan and I found that ** has sent the dispute invoice to collection and lien on the building without answering my letters. May be it is time to ask BBB to get involved

My business used this company to inspect our fire extinguishers for years before they changed names and , I suppose owners. They are ridiculously expensive and I found another company to service our location, so I called Johnson Controls and cancelled our account last year, and a few months later, I called again to confirm it was cancelled. Last month I received a bill in the mail for services tat had been cancelled, so I called and was assured someone would call me back. I never got a call. No wonder the reviews for Johnson Controls on the BBB are so bad.

We are researching this issue and have called the customer several times and left messages. She has also called back but we have missed each other. I am working on getting a credit issued for the inspection invoice as soon as possible.

Purchased new construction home 10/23/2014York hvac system installed by York dealer. Indoor coil failed 2018. Was replaced under warranty. Apparently had faulty coils. Was supposed to have additional/extended warranty on coils. 8/2022 - outdoor coils failed prematurely. ****** for Freon. Estimates from contractors to repair/replace ranging from 3000-6500. Contacted several times via email and phone. Client services rep stated that outdoor coils aren't covered under warrant outside of 5 years. Said didn't register product within 90 days of building home. '?? You sell a faulty product, have class action lawsuit settlement (even though admit no fault) and then say we are not covered. Please stand behind your products. Don't make the warranties so confusing by offering different warranties on various parts through the complicated system with a goal of leading consumers to believe they have a great warranty. The warranty would be irrelevant if your products were not faulty. 16 new homes in this development from 2014 and many of them are experiencing the same issues. In fact, two of us are experiencing it at the same time. It is bad business and clearly shows a lack of integrity as well as extremely poor customer service.

Johnson Controls purchased out our home alarm monitoring company, Richmond Alarm. Mill **** jumped $11/month now for several months. I've contacted them about 10 times over the last 4 months. Each time they tell me that they see the issue... that they accidentally moved over my account as a commercial account and signed me up for "datasource". I've been told that they are on it and will fix it. Low and behold my credit card continues to get charged the $11 higher and no one seems to be able to give me an answer. I am seeking for them to return my rate to my contracted rate of $39/month and credit my account for the $11 per month that they have wrongfully been charging me.
